^^^Oooooh, sozs, Kat! I forgot to put that the Moz stands for Mozambique. Its Mozzie speak again. LOL

Chesire Kat: Same here, re: music! I do tend to catch onto alot of other foreign artists besides Spanish speaking ones...especially with the mediocre music that's out in America these days. *le sigh* And Why is my name Benedict Moon? Benediction (or blessing) is what my given name closely translates to in English....but I just ended up going with its root word. ^__^ As for moon...I always attach something that indicates my sun sign for some reason..LOL

MVM: Thanks! I was a little apprehensive about starting this since I'm bad at finishing anything I start (haha) but here I am. And LOL, doesn't Bollywood seem so 5th house/Leonine with all the breaking out into song and dance, and even the acting? I LOVED it when it was like that! Nowadays I hear its becoming more and more like Hollywood (*sobs*), but what would I know? I haven't watched a flick in a while.

Yeah, I've watched some on and off since I was a young one through friends, neighbors, etc. That one picture in particular is from a movie in which I have a soft spot for Shahrukh's character Raj. Though that would probably have to do with the fact that I attract alot of Rajs into my life by courtesy of my saturn in Sag.

When I'm down, I tend to create theatrical performances in my head, courtesy of my sun in the 5th...and some of them do resemble Bollywood films

I'm having a hard time and not in a good mood, all ticked off, my mind wanders....and then someone starts singing in a high-pitched voice in one direction, and then a male voice starts singing on the other end...and then they come running toward me

....Okay, I ought to be locked up

THIS, was taken after a day which almost turned out to be a very mercury retro day....but thankfully turned into a health&Spa day.

In one day I've.....

-almost blew my chances of passing my NA class ALL because of some st00pid shot records.

-learned that black really doesn't crack.

- began taking some ferrous sulfate due to this mystery anemia problem.

-discovered that I'm officially close to being obese.

-gotten my eyebrows and other areas of my face waxed for the first time in months.

yay.

(((HUGS))) You need some hugs!!!

Your eyebrows look fabulous, btw. Last time I got my eyebrows professionally done was in Egypt. They do this threading thing which is absolutely amazing.

I hope your Mom is ok

I hope you are okay too

Thanks, your good wishes are appreciated! Mom is okay now, not driving thankfully. *shakes head*

And I've seen the end results of threading on my friends back at home (there's more than a few salons in RI that do that) and I always wonder how they get the eyebrows to look so perfect with the use of a string! My Indian friend gets hers threaded by her aunt every week and her eyebrows are pretty flawless...amazing stuff.

So this is another one of those History!Geek moment courtesy of yours truly.....

I watched the movie 'Goya's Ghost' about a half an hour ago which cronicled his life through the Spanish Inquisition and later the Athiest French Napoleonists invasion of Spain. My mind's all jumbled so I can't explain the plot properly....you basically follow Goya (the painter), his muse: the daughter of a merchant who was thrown in prison, and this 'priest'-turned-Revolutionary for Napoleon.

At first I was like, "Great, another movie about the 'evils' of the Catholic Church" and how the Revolutionaries liberated Spain from them and yadayadayada. I mean, you hear about so much anti-religion/spirituality these days that you just want to turn it off. Heck, I'll even admitt that those priests p*ssed me off (they should p*ss anyone off) but as the movie went on, I was kind of relieved......

They didn't distort the image of Napoleon's army (read: they didn't make them 'rational' liberators), and quite accurately depicted (with the help of Goya) that they could be just as ruthless in the name of their beliefs and ideals....just like the Spanish Inquisition.

Some of the accents annoyed the crap out of me ('English' ones with Spanish ones, wtf? ) but the message of the movie was totally unlike what I expected. What I got is that there isn't any truth so it really doesn't matter what your beliefs are; if you aren't really living them then they don't mean sh%t. You see it in the irony of how the soldiers announce what they are doing in the name of liberty, brotherhood, the pirsuit of happiness, yadayada....while bayonetting people to death in the streets. As well as in the Inquisitors putting people to 'The Question' in the name and love of God and Christ.

And I know like no one's perfect, but it bothers me when I'm stuck in The Middle Of Nowhere, Bible Belt where people claim to be 'Christians' but act almost completely the opposite or when people claim to be hardcore Athiests and then start blaming their problems on a God that supposedly doesn't exist (irony, much?). Arrrrgh

Okay, I'm totally realizing that this is starting to resemble a personal diary (exactly what I was afraid of...haha) but I've had an astrological eureka moment and have no idea why I never saw this...I just figured out how the out-of-sign conjunction between my aries mars and my ex's pisces moon works and it all makes so much sense now. O__o

Out of sign aspects in general have always KILLED me too, I mean...I still cannot figure out for the life of me why my saturn in sagittarius wants to suppress my aries mars via the square aspect but meh....

Anywho obviously, mars irritates whatever it touches and believe me when I say I am very aware that my 3rd house aries mars has set off ALOT of people with bluntness (especially here down South )...despite the fact that I'm reserved/shy/whatever. I just remember around the time I met Sr. Pisces Mooner that he always had this weird reaction to me whenever I spoke directly to him...he couldn't even look me in the eye whenever we were talking. Was it the sometimes-tactlessly-direct-aries mars irritating the nervous energy of the pisces moon? Or perhaps another case of electric uranian pre-relationship infatuation? (we had quite a few uranus squares between us) Oi!

Haha, there is a very logical explanation for the asterisk. Its actually for the same reason Amowls now has one too. LOL I signed up as Benedict Moon the first time with success, but then for some reason my password stopped working. So I learned this trick and signed up again as Benedict Moon....with an asterisk.

Otherwise...Welcome, Cardinal Arbiter! I'm very curious about your new name; does it have to do with your Moon?

Has anyone ever felt like Zodiac signs are like paint? Where you can mix them together to get something totally different from the original? For some reason I've always felt that Cancer is what you get when you mix together Taurus and Scorpio...with a little more emphasis on Scorpio.

Meh, could be just another ridiculous mercury/neptune idea of mine. ^__^

You're right, they are like paint...
or like food. In some cases the blends taste and look extra weird

Or it's like an outfit you see on a hanger in a store and you wouldn't ever think it looks good, but the thing somehow works

I would say it has to do with my Cardinal Grand Cross, which yes, my moon is in.

I don't know about paint, but MVM's metaphor for the clothes on display amuses me, because I've seen stuff on display and been like "that's just the most retarded thing I've ever seen" lol ^.^ but nonetheless it's just different, but looks fine when worn.

Oh yeah! I think the outfit metaphor makes sense when you factor in the planets. Its like my venus likes that yellow type while your may like the green one...hahaha.

And wow Cardinal, I never knew you had a grand cross. Which planets are in it? Oh wait, I'm sure you have your chart posted in your thread....I'll see there!
