hi DD, i'll try to see if i can do the other 3-

guesses for:

-female/male platonic friendship [3rd in first list]
5th synastry
i guess there is enough here to be friendly, moon conj moon and venus conj mars stand out, plus saturn trine mars is pretty good for lasting friendships. there seems to also be some differences in world outlooks jup sq saturn, saturn sq uranus - dont know if theyre generational but this seems agree to disagree type thing. they prob view each other as attractive? but it's on the surface. chiron aspects are positive which is another plus in friendships.

-20 yr stable friendship [4th in first list]
1st synastry
most of the aspects even sq are not detrimental here, enough ic/sn action that is nice family like and stable feel. periodic misunderstandings but with sun conj merc it looks like they'll always be that comm. link.

-intense affair [5th in first list]
3rd synastry
this one i think is funny because only the person on the right [i think its the lady] has their sun activated [sext saturn] so there must be more to house placements here than just the aspects to get together, so with that in mind i think the aspects by themselves create a lot of energy and spark. the lack of aspects to the sun of the person on the left tells me that theyre operating on drives that somehow don't seem a part of them? that they can't get something about their actions under conscious control - dunno, just something ive seen in synastries with sun unaspected. the good aspects are good enough but the adverse here can be very hurtful [merc sq venus, saturn sq moon, saturn conj asc, chiron conj moon]. but im probably wrong on this one, not sure, like was mentioned the pluto seems strong in most of em.

and i guess the person on the right is the same woman on all?.

sorry if i'm completely off

hi Peri, here are my guesses for the pictured charts,

ok this is hard so i'll tell you the ones i like for which

chart B long marriage completed grand trine plus harsh sun uranus moon which compounds natal sun saturn sq, plus mars conj uranus

chart A platonic friendship, this one's cute for the mutual sun jup conjunction which really makes up for the fact that one of them has their sadge moon virtually unaspected

chart C affair, well again here i'm curious because their suns seem without major aspects? and with the sun mercuries in fixed signs i think it was hard to figure out at times which way they were headed, hence a lot of the intensity.

DD Yay!!!
So the others are the friendship once..hmm.

Her 5th ruler is Mars, and it receives squares form his moon and mercury, and a trine form his jupiter, but no mars, venus or pluto aspects which I guess could show no sexual spark on her behalf.

Peri:
Chart A is intense affair.

Chart B is the marriage that divorced and remarried.
Planets in each other's 7th.Mutual Sun-Moon aspects.Pluto opposing that Venus/Moon/Mercury that is also conjunct by Mars. Tempestrous indeed. Sun-Uranus square for divorce.

Chart C is the friendship.

also it was mentioned denise's "origami_salami" and her articles on red rock astrology - the one on NODES is available, and i really enjoyed reading that one girl-very informative!

Lonake,

sorry I forgot to post a reply.

"-female/male platonic friendship [3rd in first list]

Yes, that`s the synastry between my best friend`s husband and me, and we even have been sort of friends before they married.
No romantic attraction though despite the Venus-ASC double conjunction and the Venus-Mars conjunction.

"-20 yr stable friendship [4th in first list]
1st synastry
most of the aspects even sq are not detrimental here, enough ic/sn action that is nice family like and stable feel. periodic misunderstandings but with sun conj merc it looks like they'll always be that comm. link."
No, interestingly THAT was the intense affair.
WEird, hu?

"-intense affair [5th in first list]

That is the synastry with my best friend, whom I have known for over 20 years now. Through thick and thin so to speak.

But we were always respectful of our differences. And yes, we both know that there are some things in my life that she can`t really understand nor share, even though she respects them, like astrology for example. She listens to me and is interested, because I am passionate about it, but it doesn`t mean a thing to her. She doesn`t relaly understand that, I guess that is my unaspected Sun and Mercury.

Why was the intense affair so intense?

Well, I think it had to do with their natal charts.

My friend has Moon opposite Pluto
Her affair has Moon square Pluto

and in the synastry they had Moon opposite Pluto.

And this REALLY describes their short relationship.

Peri,

#2 is right. They have a rather stormy relationship and have hung out, but it's never been serious.

The other two are trickier.

#1 is the couple that has never been married and never have been lovers. They have been involved as friends and associates, but never deeper than that. They have such great synastry; it's strange that they have never gotten together as lovers even with such great chemistry between them.

#3 is the married couple! They seem like the odd couple to everyone they know because their personalities are so different.

so # 3 is a married couple? why do long-term partners always have such a challenged synastry?!
sighs* karma!

Peri, I'm interested to know why you guessed couple #1 as being the ones who were married.

they have a number of nice aspects, I guessed #2 first cozz they have lots of pluto aspects - too intense to get married and stay together long-term and # 3 has too many stressful aspects so I thought they kind of did not click, lol
