Hmmmmmmmmmm, interesting. I like the angle of this.I too have venus in Old Capricorn and have found that all my exes have always wanted to look after me "I want to treat and look after you, you deserve it because I love you", my current girlfriend said this to me last week. She had venus in picese and I supose when we first started out, I was the one who stuck by her as she was going through a really bad tiime. IP: Logged |

I have venus in scorpio; many people(including lovers) reveal their secrets to me readily. Many feel that when they talk to me about what is going on in their lives, they'll feel better.A week ago I met a lady; she was about to undergo the last procedure for a sex change(to be a full-fledged woman) We hadn't met before and were literary strangers until we were introduced. Before the week was over, she revealed to me very many personal and painful things she has had to endure. At one point she even cried.I told her that she first needs to deal with her own sense of warped self worth before expecting other people to love her. Funny how my advice relates to my Chiron in Taurus so much. I have Chiron being in the 1st house; people often see me having the "medicine" or "diagnosis" for their issues with self-confidence/self worth. I have no issues with self-worth, I dealt with that AGES ago and I guess its my blessing(so to speak) to "pass that on". IP: Logged |

Venus in Libra here! Oh my, I am almost too pleasing. The guy I have begun to date has venus in Aries (also sun in aries). Its lucky that im a fiery saggie sun cause when we had a little disagreement I stood up for myself. But then I feel like I melt if im happy in love and want to please my partner. It may not help that my mars is also in libra. I feel that there is a battle between my leo moon/saggie sun and libra influences. I don't want to lose myself my being too "nice" in a relationship. Am I thinking too much about this? Sparkling IP: Logged |

Jane , some parts of your post are really funny !I have Venus in libra and people who were interested in dating me almost always asked my friends about it first- whether I was single and would date them, instead of asking me directly even when we were already friends. I give off mixed vibes I guess, both friendly and flirty- so they can never be sure lol Also, there were a few guys I didn't know who wanted to date me or hang out with me after observing me just hanging out with my friends. I don't know why.. I must look like a fun and social girl, or someone who is nice to others. IP: Logged |

Is this why my husband likes to display his food purchases and salary slips in hunter-gatherer style? Marital status tends to ward off some of the pursual element, but in general I don't really attract the hide in the bathroom kind of guy. On a more subtle level providing of assistance, carrying things, etc, still very phsyical. Now guess my Venusian Sign. Clue: moo. IP: Logged |

I wonder if aspects to Venus would apply here? Venus in Sign - How she expresses herself? Venus in House - Where she looks for and finds love? Venus aspected - those likely to pursue her? Maybe? IP: Logged |

i think this idea can work with venus, but by my own personal experience this is not consistent.it might be to do with attracting certain mars/asc types to your venus? or the house its in. IP: Logged |

my venus in pisces hasn't been pursued!!! or i haven't noticed. i do attract girls, where i work right now, there is this girl with whom we first talked about star wars today, she came to me and my colleague and i could feel her "sympathy" towards me, (im going to disapoint her when she finds out im gay, so i played it distant) but so far, nobody came to me singing dressed as a mermaid. there's a friend of mine, that i think is into me (i don't mean literally here!) and he's got moon opp nep with a very tight orb, yes jane and bm, i'm talking tight ORB. he's aries venus and my eros is in aries so may be... i haven't made any moves since he's in a relationship, but the attraction is therewith my pluto just opp is venus IP: Logged |

Yeah, it doesn't work for me. Some women/girls have been foot-in-the-mouth honest about their affection for me, but I've also gotten the silent stare, which isn't very Sagittarian at all. And then generally friendliness would seem Sagittarian, but it would also seem just about anything else.IP: Logged |

I like that idea. As for me, I don't seem to attract the outgoing sporty type that puts a positive spin on life. That would actually be pretty boring. And annoying. Venus AND Sun in Sag here. IP: Logged |

My husband has Venus in Sag. Maybe he attracts foreignors, people of different cultures and backgrounds. That would certainly be the case for me, and his previous serious relationships. Arguing about current affairs and politics over beers, maybe. No to the arm wrestling. He is a lot bigger than me and would surely win. Arguments - I get to win those. IP: Logged |

I don't do the beer chugging or arm wrestling either, but I will take the foreigner. IP: Logged |

Makes sense to me, Jane! I love the way your mind works. May I marry you please? Wait, that's not exactly how your Venus in Cappy would approve Or maybe it would since I am posing it as a formal question Venus in Scorpio as well as my 7th house cusp - I wonder if I am confusing it. I do tend to be 'courted' in ways where the other will divulge secrets...and I notice a lot of possessiveness and jealousy toward them too (Mars Taurus... oh wait, I'm jealous too LOL). But I think most of the men I have dated have pursued me in very unmistakable ways...and there's been obsessiveness and blatant power plays in their behavior toward me. But it's interesting because I feel we very much mirror what we seek per the Venus and 7th house stuff. So I'd think it has to do with how we perceive stuff, and perception is receptive, much like Venus (and the 7th cusp) Oh, and AG, I would think some of this has to do with the Virgo moon.

Open-mindedness and tolerance are pursuable qualities. But then Venus in Sag gets the arm-wrestling beer chuggers because of its tolerance.IP: Logged |

i have venus in gemini in the 10th house. my sun is in cancer (1 degree) in the 11th house. i so far only attract virgo, libra, scorpio. so those sun signs with combinations of major planets in those 3 signs. so venus in libra but sun in virgo. sun in libra but venus in scorpio. or they're a virgo with a libra stellium. or a libra with scorpio stellium. i don't know what it is in my chart, but no matter what i seem to get those men. as a venus in gemini, even i'm still confused about how i flirt (that is if i flirt at all). i know how to make friends and be a good friend to people all around the world. no matter where i go, i seem to be able to "charm" people even though i am pretty shy and guarded but i can switch and be talkative and humorous if i feel relaxed around people. when i like someone, i just try to be their friend or go about it like i would if it were any other friend. i'd talk to them. i'd eventually ask them to hang out (say movie or concert with a group of people). i don't know how to flirt. i just know how to be a good friend to someone, make jokes, talk about a variety of things, etc. most men who are interested in me are never direct and never show their interest in me in the way i would. so perhaps my venus has the *opposite* effect in how men pursue me. that is, they're usually never friendly and talkative and normal and neutral towards me. it's not that they're jerks towards me but you know, these people would never nod at me and smile or be like hi to me like i would to them if i'm trying to begin the long journey of getting to know someone and befriend them. just the act of saying hi or doing regular chit chat doesn't seem to cut it with these people. and the more direct i am at trying to be friendly towards them (ie asking them to come with us to a movie...so not just me but with other people to lessen the pressure) it seems the more cold or even turned off these people are towards me. so that confuses me because i think these people like me enough to at least be a friend so when i try to be their friend in the normal way i know how, it doesn't work. all i ever really get is intense staring and strange actions (holding of doors for example). no direct forms of communication like hi or emailing or smiling or chit chatting which is what i as a venus in gemini would do to someone if i liked them. it's always intense or awkward and never neutral. these venus in scorpios and venus in libras force me to play by their crazy rules. Venus in Gemini has been known to start start flirting when it is getting bored and wants to liven things up a bit.
