Mercury Trine Ascendant How do I think? Constantly. And I need to know the answer to everything that piques my interest, right away. There's this urgency to KNOW. I have a very probing mind. And I can be both big-picture AND bogged down in details. Especially at work. My bosses are exasperated with me sometimes, because they want to skim the surface of any given legal case, while I pick out all the details nobody else (a) cares about or (b) never noticed. It's because of my detective-like approach and my perfectionism. They lecture me a lot about not moving fast enough on projects. But I can't let my work go out the door in a sloppy manner. And if I think we're not doing our best for the client, I am very disturbed. In my communication with people, I aim for diplomacy in a formal setting, but my Aquarius rising often gets the better of me. So... a lesson in contradictions! IP: Logged |

evanski - my Sun is in Aries in the 11th - so that is still Aries + Uranian energy..  Jane - lol yes my AC predicament .. the ruler is either in the 7th or the 10th.
My SN is in the 5th house. Lately I've been looking into equal house which puts my SN in the 4th - something tells me this *fits*.. IP: Logged |

I think that this is a wonderful discussion!(Hence having the Sun placed in Gemini and having Mercury in Gemini!) Well to start off I have Mercury placed within the sign of Gemini which relates to the sweeping up of information from all around me and it shows that my mind will work in a capricious manner so yes I do have a very widespread mind.I tend to feel as if I don't think as much as most people do and I can contribute this to Mercury being placed within the 12th house and square to the Moon being placed in the sign of Pisces. I feel as if my feelings prevail over what I think and If I do think it is from something I am inspired by emotionally.Mercury in a mutable sign does help to show that the mind is adaptable and changeable and prone to receiving as much information as possible without any real stability unless in an earth sign or connected to a grounding astrological factor. I have found that my mind works on it's own as opposed to me having to try and make it do anything. With Mercury in the 12th house I find that I often do best in discussing things of a Higher nature hence my theories on the Universal Energetic Source and my writings on it as well.So to put it simply my Mind is introspective in that it tries to rationalize the imaginative,creative,and spiritual arts and elusive ideas such as what Perfect Pitch is and how others can utilize it in their lives(Mercury trine Saturn). It also has always pushed me to do psychic readings for people since the 7th grade and I have always been focused on what it is that a person could become or their Status and Career. As an Astrologer I feel Mercury has played a nice part as well with the connection to being that Saturn relates to astronomy and calculative studies. My Mind is what i feel complex and I think in a manner I have not yet come to fully understand. I know that my Mental Processes though have helped me in giving information to others that helps rather than hinders and is truly inspired from a higher source.IP: Logged |

I'm a Mercury in Libra, in 12th. My thoughts are always dual, and I am always telling myself angrily to "choose a side" because I can identify with both/all sides. If ever I am in a debate of sorts, I am always playing devil's advocate. I never or seldom tell people this because I don't care which side people think I'm on as it's not really important in my opinion. IP: Logged |

My mercury is Pisces, conjunct my Sun 2 degrees (17merc, 19sun), both in the 4th house conjunct the 5th cusp. I also have Scorpio Asc...It just seems kind of redundant to think about how you think, or be compelled to observe your compulsion. I might be able to give you a more rational reason why but I'm really really full right now and can hardly think. I ate four sandwiches and 2 asian pears in a couple of hours. I'm underweight ahaha. ------------------

meta -You can hide behind your humility, but you have your Mercury, Moon, and Venus all in the same signs and houses as my ex. If you're anything like him, I'm well aware of your magnificence.

Are you leaning towards Cancer Asc? I get the sense you are, but after paying close attention to you I place my bet on Gemini. I see your 10th house Mercury Pisces as your chart ruler more than your 7th house Cappy Moon. Can you be a Gem Asc and have a Taurus Venus or is that impossible? Crabby - With all that Mercury - and in Libra, no less - I don't know how your brain doesn't explode from over stimulation! AG I find your Saturn-Merc opposition interesting, especially since those planets rule your Sun and Moon that are square one another. Why are Virgo, Cap and their dispositors giving one another a hard time? They should be easy pals. I wonder what in your chart shows your ability to think in music. Ami-

My goal is to have peace within--no matter what is going on outside myself--as much as possible.
I don't want to go up and down based on other people or situations.

I have Mercury in Pisces in the 9th in a Grand Trine with Moon in Cancer in the 12th and Pluto in Scorpio in the 5th. I'm definitely dreamy, and I think sometimes my own thoughts and feelings are hidden from me so I usually just let go and wait to 'feel' what I'm thinking. Very intuitive. I love to read, especially historical fiction fantasy type books- its the best way to escape!IP: Logged |

leo merc. i think alot.
i always told the kids, while your sleeping, i'm thinking, so you won't ever get something past me.actually, i have to have my quiet time to think. no radio. just quiet. and i write. songs, ditties, stories. at the drop of a hat i can make up poems and ditties...and silly songs...quite a markletable skill....uh...yeah.
