I have Mercury in Gemini. I thank God every day for my Gemini planets.
When I see someone doing a really crazy thing, my Gemini planets assure me that they will hold me back lol.
I read that the Gemini energy is purely rational.
Gemini energy, for me, is a slice of a cool head.
I see that people have saving graces in their charts--whether it be a strong Mars, cool Mercury, certain gifts etc.
God did not leave anyone without a way to pull themselves up, I don't think.
I would love to hear anyone's description of their Mercury or any Mercury they have encountered. Ami

I have Mercury in Gemini (in 9th) conjunct Venus and I'm quite proud of it. It gives me plenty of mental strength and Gemini is the strongest in my chart too.

[Taurus in the 3rd, tightly opposite Pluto and trine Neptune. lol]

How does your mind feel when Pluto opposes it--obsessive? If Neptune trines it--do you have good intuition?
I would guess that you are a very powerful person who has tremendous insight--flashes of insight where you just KNOW things.
Taurus should give you practical common sense and a sense of being grounded which you would need with the other powerhouses lol.
Are you like this?

Mercury is my chart ruler as I have Gemini rising. My Mercury is in Sag in the 7th. It's opposed by Saturn in Gemini in the 1st. It's also sextiled by Uranus in Libra, and quintiled by Pluto in Libra. Despite being in the sign of its detriment (or is it fall?), it works quite well.

My Moon is also in a Mercury-ruled sign, Virgo.

How does it feel to have Saturn opposed to Mercury. Is your thinking restricted in any way? How would a sextile to Uranus feel, also?
You could talk about the Pluto quintile if you felt like it too lol. Ami

Mercury In Gemini. Its makes a big diffrence in me. Frankly its almost the core of me since its conjunct my sun also.

Its also in my 5th house so I can be creative, but become less intrested if its not innovative.

for example, I'm actually thinking of switching majors, computer science is becoming not creative anymore for any more.

Just because its becoming "regurgitation and less inovation of learning material".

It also makes it tought to find the best people that can help me stay thinking and want to share information with.

Mercury is very strong in my chart, but mine is in Cancer, trine pluto, opposite neptune, and sextile my Mercurial Virgo Moon.

I am pretty quick, great at computing math (even if I hate it), analyzing stuff, but I'm also pretty imaginative (read: day dreamer), empathetic like a sponge, and pretty intuitive. My dreams have been eerily accurate in many ways.

Mercury in Saggitarius in the 3rd house, sextile Pluto in Scorpio in the 2nd house. I overanalyze things. It can sometimes be a blessing or curse.

Mercury retrograde in aquarius (exalted?) in my 9th (accidental detriment) conjunct sun, trine moon and chiron, sextile mars, jupiter, saturn and uranus.

Mercury is also my chart ruler.

Im better at writing than speaking. When i speak i tend to go off into tangents because i think in clouds, not linearly (sign of left handedness). I love reading, i can read and process information really quickly. I am analytical and im good at connecting concepts.

im a Merc Retro in 0 Libra placed in my 12th.

it is wide cj my ASC 5LIBRA.

sextile jup/uranus and square my Neptune.

as it is in the Zero Aries degree Point i think it is a very important planet in my chart.

Rules my 12th an 9th houses..

...usually when merc is in the AP the person is a famous writter,or at least the thoughts, and way of comunication are caught by the poublic eye.

but im not a famous writter and if that happens somewhere in my Life iŽll let you know

being in libra...im diplomatic and i seek balance when i express myself.

when having to make an important decision,iŽll ask others always,to the ones i love and i appreciate their own opinions, trying to find a balance.

yup---i use a lot "on the other hand..." hihihih

im very curious and open mindend.and i see myself as a very tolerant person,i dont like to judge or see injustices in the world.

lol Glaucus, i don't do arguing.. never have. I discuss. If you see my blunt, direct discussing as arguing then i'm sorry - that's Aries for ya!

I always feel my way through everything, including debating/discussing. The mind is but a stupid tool. The intuition, a true barometer.

Dear Savanna
Why would these placements make you over analyze things?

To the Cancer Mercury's --it seems you are dreamy, imaginative, very intuitive.
Do the hard parts of Cancer play a part in your mind ,too, like indecisiveness and fearfulness?
I am Cancer moon and like it but it has it's hard side, too.

Mercury in Scorpio in the 4th - I love my Merc because it gives me the ability to cut straight to the chase, but I do try to kerb its sometimes 'acid' edge when my Libran scales are out of balance.
