Exactly. Though I really feel like I OWN my mars; I have a bad temper, a love for Action-Adventure and some war films, I drive fast, I'm really super autonomous, etc. Otherwise I'd have be attracted to Arien men left and right....which I'm not. In fact, they really get on my nerves.
But like I said earlier, I also don't like the complete opposite---->> passiveness.
And not all water men are like that, there's other influences. The guy I was talking about earlier who had Sun and Mars in Cancer was passive aggressive in expressing anger, but otherwise the way he went about pursuing her was not passive at all. H.e's also pretty sexually aggressive It was an odd contradiction, but there were some other factors to consider.

They seem dumb-witted though (their pick up lines!).
I see Aries & Gem--types as extra mentally alert. They would want to be original and stand out in the way the approach you.

I have a Cancer Mars...BUT it's conjunct my Sun and Asc AND in the 1st. And I actually can't STAND Cancer Mars guys (actually Cancer anything I can't stand...way too sensitive and touchy). They're WAY too passive aggressive and overly touchy about everything, and while I am a Cancer my 1st house placements, and conjunctions along with my Leo Mercury make me a very very poor choice for these guys. All I can say in my experience is that they are the type of guys that if they don't "feel" like doing something they won't. They can also be very manipulative. While they can be protective, it's hard because they don't really make a move. I've found this actually affects 4th house Mars as well no matter WHAT the sign. My Aqua ex with Mars in Aries in the 4th was aggressive BUT only up until anything physical he wasn't. I had to make a move on him, to give him the green light. Even as far as kissing, or even being affectionate. And sexually my Cancer Mars in the 1st was more aggressive than him lol. Edited I actually found out my Aqua ex is a Cancer rising with libra moon, and stellium in the 6th (this makes sense...but so did the Cap rising conjunct neptune and venus on the 1st). Anyway thats where his EXTREME sensitivity came from. And his moods were HORRIBLE. Plus he had that horrible fear you'd leave him. And then he'd get distant. It was horrible lol. IP: Logged |

I've found the subtle manipulative thing about Mars in Cancer to light up my warning sign. And not in a good way. They strike me as domestic terrorists. I try to keep awayThat being said I have a scorpio Venus and I've experienced the joys of it being trined. Enjoy your relationship but keep all of these posts, frog metaphors included , in mind I would also like to raise another flag for you. A Capricorn Moon. We tend to be rational, to make the hard cuts and to sacrifice emotions on occasion. It's pretty harsh so look out not to be caught on the other side of reasoning. Good luck  IP: Logged |

I would agree to an extent. Some of my friends have hurt me pretty bad and in my loyalties toward them I have plenty of reserves. We are still friends but I'm aware where I stand. Far from disloyalty but I feel that those relationships can never be the same. Those who have been ok friends, I eternally cherish. ------------------

Mayeve the guy im seeing has also taurus sun but Aquarius ASC so 7h leo.
cancer mars...yes his sexuality is over the roof.

In addition to Cherle's comments. These men will always run to other women to soothe their hurts. thus there will always be other women between you. No sense of fair play and always out for themselves. Haven't a clue about mature love, just take take take. I hate being a mars in cancer!!! I really can't stand it. It is the core source of weaknesses that I have in my chart, and it ****** me off so much. I try EXTREMELY hard to push past my mars issues, and it's so hard to do. I've pushed myself to near insanity a few years ago cause of it (and I mean insanity in the literal, medical sense of the word). It makes me very very fearful in relationships. Afraid I am doing something wrong is the biggest thing. I have been obsessive in the past about not being able to do exactly what my partner wants, but being unable to ask. It makes my emotions feel weak, squishy, meek, etc. It makes it extremely hard to initate anything physical, and when it is done it's super clunky/awkward. Physical action is very hard for me, because I don't know what I am doing.
I have gotten around MANY issues associated with my mars, but some still persist. In a relationship I am super attentive to my partners needs, the biggest road block for me is self-confidance. I have made huge strides in having confidance, but first, I need to find the right guy to put it to the test.
Rest assured, I REFUSE to let weaknesses bring me down, but it's extremely hard to do and I can overcompensate if I am not careful. I'm beyond obsessive about self improvement, I MUST do it at all times. So if I become aware of a problem in myself, it is worked on in full force. ------------------

I don't think it's just the fact that your Mars is in Cancer, but the aspects it makes, that give you difficulty. You have it conjunct Chiron and opposite Neptune. Both of those aspects will make it very difficult to be direct or show/deal with aggression. You also have zero planets in fire signs, which is going to hinder your physical activity. (My sister is a fire void and it takes her forever and a day to get up and go.) As far as self-confidence, I'd also look at Saturn; square ASC, quincunx Jupiter, opposite Mars.On the positive side, your Mars trines Pluto and your Moon, so you do possess passion despite the lack of fire in your chart. And your Mars is in a fire house! I feel like I've had to grow into my Cancer Mars. I did the whole whiny, passive-aggressive thing... but I think simultaneous Saturn and Pluto transits hammered out my issues there. Gotta make the best with what you've got, ya know?  IP: Logged |

I do make the best of it. It's definitely a combination of things I do know that. The oppositions to my mars is what makes it nasty in the end. There is 0 and 1 orb for them as well so it's really strongly felt. I have to force myself to keep going and get started but I have learned over time. I'm also just spouting off my pluto here too. It doesn't like weaknesses in me, heh. In the end I just am a perfectionist who strives to be perfect (I know I'll never get there), and I get my undies in a bunch when I see a problem but can't do a thing about it. ------------------

See, my Pluto refuses to admit that my Mars in Cancer is a weakness.  Your Mars/Pluto trine is tighter than mine, but I've got Sun trine Pluto exact.I would think having Chiron involved in all of that would be the hardest to deal with -- the wounded healer and all. The cancer mars men I know purposely want to degrade and destroy women. As long as one isn't trying to hurt other people or tear them down any sign can be wonderful. I just can't take the hostility. My Cancer Uranus in the 12th wont accept bigotry so I find it best to go my way.IP: Logged |
