Think: Passive-aggressive. Cannot communicate directly. So overwhelmed with their own emotions that they can't think straight about anything. Prone to being sexually neurotic, and not in good ways. Highly sensitive to bad experiences, may have had a trauma in the past that deeply wounded their sexuality and would take decodes of therapy to heal (but of course, they won't go to therapy because they are deeply crippled by their shame and guilt). Cries a lot, emotionally manipulative, psychic vampiric. So consumed with their own emotions that your emotions will send them into a downward spiral, dragging you with him, so you learn quickly to censor your own feeling to make room for his and only his.

In summary: A Cancer Mars man is an endless well of neediness, sexually and psychologically, so they aren't that good at reciprocating and being attentive to your needs. Or more to the point, he's an unsatisfiable parasite that will suck you dry, and then go running to Mommy weeping with snotty tears that you don't love him anymore.

If you're into that, go for it. I'm not. I dated three Cancer Mars men. One of them I was engaged to.

I'm very protective of people i love..

I dont like emotional sex at all but I love passionate sex. I believe that might be due to my gemini moon though. Anyways I appreciate someone who is more a home type family type person and is caring.

Okay so what I can glean so far--and to be fair the Mars Cancer will probably act out differently with his Venus Gemi/Taurus Sun/Leo Ascendant than say other placements:

Gentle..and sort of a chivalrous type of guy..

Kindhearted--generous

Outwardly funny and gregarious but sort of truly a private person who does not like to tell many people his "business"

Loves food..loves the outdoors..sports..hugs..touching..
seems very oral literally and figuratively

Slow to anger but can be passive aggressive as well. I see that with his Virgo ex.. Let's others occasionally boss him around then he sort of bites the hand after an extended period of time. Definitely does not like change.

Very independent (uranus on ascendant)..likes to do his hobbies etc but also huge into family events.

I feel intimately associated with many of his placements from myself and close friends.
He seems like a complex mix as a person.
His Sun is Taurus so he is steady, earth bound and strong shoulders to lean on.
His Ascendant is Leo so he has a flair for the dramatic with a warmth.
I was just told that Leo Ascendants are self absorbed and the conversations can be all about them.
I don't know enough Leo Ascendants to say.
One female I know IS that way and one male I know is not.
I have a Gemini Venus. *I* like it even though many people diss it lol.
I enjoy that my Venus is attracted to words and a person's mind, first.
People say Gemini Venus is shallow but you have to look at the rest of the chart to see if there is depth in water, for example, to give balance to the Gemini Venus.
He needs an attraction to the mind, first,though,before he will be attracted if he is like I am.
Then, we come to Cap moon which has as bad a rep as Gem Venus lol.
I love Cap moon,myself.
Cap moon can see the practical earth bound world like no one else,IME.
He is good in business, can step back and detach from situations and plan what he will do.Some people call it calculating but I see planning as an important part of life on this earth. They are very good at planning many steps ahead,perhaps one of the best in this.
I have Mars in Cancer.
I know Cherle said some strong things about it.
Perhaps, they are true.
I don't like it.
I think it is much worse in a man than a woman.
Mars in Cancer has its assertiveness and sexuality going in the wrong direction.
I am only speaking for myself and my sense of it. I am not judging anyone else.
I want to say that.
I, as a female, have a hard time with Mars things such as assertion in anger, power or sexuality.
So, I could NEVER be with a Mars in Cancer guy or we would both be sitting on the sofa with no one moving

Part of me loves Venus Gemini. My Sun and Mercury are in Gemini and our planets are on top of eahc other. I also have a Venus Taurus so it goes great with his Sun. We are both very verbal --lots of chatter..lots of lovely and sexy flirtatious conversations. Nice cards and letters--all Gemini talking...

They are very verrrry magnetic.

On the other issues, I'll only tell of one I got to know over the course of a year instead of generalizing them all. My friend thought he was perfect and honestly, on first impression...he was really nice to me....I got alot of common courtesy from him that I rarely ever recieved from any of my friend's previous boyfriends. I still think he is, but he has some typical Cancerian faults which are magnified since he's also a Cancer Sun, keep that in mind.

I'm a Cancer Sun too, but with a fire mars, I lack the passive aggression problems that he definitely has. One night it was sooooo bad that instead of telling us he didn't want us to go out, he acted out when we got to the club an hour later. The insuing drama annoyed me since my Aries Mars believes he could have saved us the trouble by telling us what was wrong before we left.

These men can be moody too, but its more of an 'angry' moodiness as opposed to the general moodiness of a Cancer Sun.

I have an Aries Mars and Moon.

He rarely gets angry. I have seen him moody--really moody twice in the past year. Defintely not pleasant. I am a get in and get out person when it comes to a bad mood. I rarely get in one and I get out quickly.

He was moody for a number of days and then came out of it. He said I feel apathetic and fat! (he's neither).

I notice that he is a very good listener but also gets tongue tied if: 1- I compliment him directly and 2-If I express in words very literally how I "feel". I am not a crazy over the top emotional type (Gem Sun/Mercury) but can be loquacious/verbal. He seems to love the attention but also shys from it too. Hard to explain.

He has lost his temper only once and it was totally unexpected. I had shared with him this sort of fantasy date I had about him. And he was sort of quiet about it..didnt not say anything. Then I later said regretted sharing it with him (because it made me feel rather dopey and vulnerable...esp since he was sort of not responding...) He was so upset. (How can you say you would take it back???..etc)

Anyway, he does make me feel very protected ..more than any man I've ever met...and Yes that LEO asc.comes out. Sometimes, all conversation threads lead to him! I think sexually he would probably be very gentle but he does seem to express a thing of competitive streak....where he wants to be my best kisser--etc...Maybe that is the Leo/Taurus.

One thing about him which really struck me as interesting was how his sexuality reminded me of a tree frog in the rain, the way he slipped and slid around lol
He loved being physical around water - was very watery in the way he physically/sexually expressed himself.

He was highly sensitive of moods too... his sexuality was seamless without being passive. But. BUT. Moody. Cuddly, luscious, and moody. I agree that these people are very magnetic. They don't run or walk - they glide (and leap, like frogs)

I have Taurus Venus trine Capricorn Mars btw
I attract Taurus Sun and Mars often but usually there is friction.. I will see how things go with someone I am working with -- It was a bit up & down for a while.. but I think it is getting better. He has both Sun/Mars in Tauro exactly conj my Venus-NN.

glamgem - I was thinking it could be the venus-mars combination.. making him more laid back. But that said -- my friend is a female Pisces with Aries Venus and Mars and she is pretty aggressive. She is turned on by speed as well and very addicted to motorbikes.
Everyone's chart is different though. I don't know my friend's AC. Maybe it depends on the house as well.

After the relationship is kind of "set" -- and you have a good connection with someone and good communication going.. (this is more sun-moon-ac-mercury level).

When it comes to -just- initiating sex and being aggressive sexually -- not in other ways.
