I Edited my last post. And amowls, I see where your coming from, completely understand. BUT lol, we still don't like the labels. Now, I can't speak for other races, but Im pretty confident in saying this about us black folks. For white people to say we ar colored or people of color Is a backhanded diss to us plain and simple. The only one we accept on a large scale is BLACK and African-American (but even that one is losing favor).

People of color isn't just a term for black people but for all people who are not white.

Yeah, African-American is losing favor and I agree with not using it, mainly because I know a lot of recent African immigrants who have vastly different experiences than black people who have been here for centuries.

Anyway... BACK TO THE POST.

I think Penelope Cruz is beautiful. And I think Megan Fox is stunning when she doesn't tan.

Idk, I've noticed that in MALE celebs, I'm attracted to men who have planets in Cap/Sag/Aqua (makes sense given my DSC). In terms of female celebs... I like anyone with dark hair lol.

Having a black President means nothing. He was chosen for that very reason - to enable the USA to look balanced and together as a nation.
America is going down; in fact it's next on the financial crash list. America had huge problems and racism is just a fraction of those problems. I no longer think Americas is even the most powerful continent in the world.

i like dark hair in general on women or men. It's rare for me to like fair hair or features tho I tend to like odd types for men.

my latest crush is sam rockwell but it's not for looks but talent alone which to me is a huge turn-on (maybe my 5th house thing). pretty sure he's a scorpio.
robert downy jr is another, and he's an Aries.
i think i have a thing for Mars-y men for crushes but not relationships lol

No, not outside the US but I'm majoring in Political Science (International)... Just getting done with a class called 'Comparative Government' and we compared each countries strengths and weaknesses when it comes to meeting the publics needs.

The UK is more racist.

it sounds like you've never left the country

i think it's fine but i also think that the experience of racism was more powerful for me in the US than in the UK which is part of my argument, plus other instances i've noticed.

however i do think both countries are racist in their own ways. just that the US likes to take pride in saying it's not which bothers me

Agreed about the word 'coloured', it's a very derogatory word here in the UK and I have challenged people for using that term. However being *of* colour is fine, we don't view that as having negative connotations here.

It would be difficult to measure how much more racist a country is compared to others. The UK is 90% white. It's hard to be racist when all of your neighbors are white like you.
