I've been looking at this list and also FHM's top 100 sexiest women in the world list. Mostly for appreciation of physical beauty, and also for astrological and betting purposes. Yeah, do that too.

Finding out why a person would win an award, why I would pick a certain few out, and why I might/might not be attracted to certain people.

So feel free to pick 1 or even 5 out as your best ones. Even if you are a woman. I am neither woman nor lesbian. Nothing against either.

Start with 99..... http://uk.askmen.com/specials/2010_top_99/jamie-lynn-sigler-99.html

Or just type ask men into search engine.

I looked at the top 10 only. So five years ago. Where do they get their rankings? The only ones who should be in the top 10 are Kate Beckinsale and Eva Mendes.

Number one is not pretty at all.

I saw number one in person in Beverly Hills. I'm way taller than her.

Where are all the women of colour?

I've only looked at the top 20 and the only woman of colour is Beyonce...

The women on this list are pretty, but it's such a shame there aren't more diverse examples of beauty. When black women appear in similar lists, they are usually fair skinned with European features e.g. Halle Berry, Beyonce or Tyra Banks.

Oh well.

Beyonce was in the top 10 (I think) I remember seeing her. Penelope Cruz, Eva Mendes, and Jessica Alba were in the top 10 too. That would be 40% of the top 10 being women of color.

Personally, I think these rankings are dumb and should be a thing of the past and so should beauty pageants. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Being Latina is not the same as being "of color". You can be white and be latina. Penelope Cruz is Spanish, anyway. She's European.

I have never believed people were ranked on their actually desirability on this retarded list, but more on their popularity/marketability at the moment. And that would sort of answer Deliverance's question too. :\

IMO: I would have put # 99 (Jamie Lynn Seigler) over #10 (Miranda Kerr) any day....just not in the years the former happened to be popular.

Whoa wait a minute? Emmanuelle Chiqrui made #1? Color me shocked (no sarcasm btw).

How is being latina or hispanic not being a woman of color? Are black people the only people of color? What about asian, indians, hispanics etc.?

Latin is a culture, not a race. They can be all different colors. Penelope is probably considered white in Spain, and Eva Mendes would probably be considered the same wherever she came from.

This is the only girl worthy of number 1 in all of those lists:

Pointing out that Penelope Cruz is white and therefore isn't a POC.

Diana, in the UK the term "women of colour" means black women.

Hopes this clarifies.

Ok. Fine, I didn't know Penelope was Spanish.

So 30% of the top 10 are woman of color.

So black people are the only women of color? I totally disagree with that. I think asians, hispanics, and indians should also be considered women of color since they are not caucasian.

Good for you Lara, glad your laughing

.....anyway I don't see what's so PC about pointing out there are few Black women in a poll about beauty. Its ridiculous! There are so many black actresses and even more musicians, it's just perplexing!

Eva Mendes isn't white. Jessica Alba is half white. Penelope Cruz is white.

No, they aren't. I was just explaining why some Latinos/Hispanics would be considered so, and some wouldn't. It's all relative anyways....

Skin color is pretty serious because it determines the way people react to you.

Latin isn't a race, which is why on the census it asks if you are latin/hispanic and then asks if you are black or white. You can be black and latin or white and latin.

Anyway, I agree. The lack of diversity is pretty telling. No asians that I saw. I already have a low opinion of AskMen anway.

Exactly, it goes into my theory about marketability, which is what I strongly believe this list is based on. Then again, this is AskMen.com we're talking about.

Last year I picked 5 beauties, and 3 of them had Venus in Taurus. I think all the same degree, or near about.

Shouldn't work should Venus in Taurus with Me.

Agreed! I omitted to add that there are also very few Asian women in the top 40

Raspberri, the fact that it's Ask Men UK is quite shocking to me! There are loads of towns & cities in the UK that have a large multicultural population.
There are far more Asian & black women here than any other ethnic group so it's a shocker that there's so little diversity in this poll!

I apologise for going off on a tangent on your thread Coffee. But to answer your original question, the women who I think are beautiful aren't on this poll.
