Dear all, could we try and find those aspects, asteroids etc. showing unrequited love? I mean, when we are in love, we always look and find astrologically everything proving that we are in a loving and working relationship. We have seen now so many planet and asteroid-aspects showing that. Now: when you were not sure about your partner's feelings, did you also find combinations showing unrequited love? Will you share your experiences with me? kamaIP: Logged |

I think unrequited love is not so much indicated in certain asteroid aspects, but the lack of them.Besides, astrology only indicates how your energies mesh, it doesn`t tell if orin what way you will express them. IP: Logged |

recently i discovered one thing...i don`t feel love without the moon...it doesn`t matter how well my venus is aspected by other person`s planets, if my moon is uninvolved i`m not in love...generally in previous relationships my moon was always aspected...at the moment there is a person trying hard to capture my heart...we have vevus/venus sextile, my venus trines his mars, but my moon doesn`t have any aspect from his planets and i`m totally indeferent, i don`t even like him a bit...IP: Logged |

Interesting. I won`t feel attracted at all unless someone aspects my Venus. (Venus rules my 5th house in Placidus).IP: Logged |

Tamarella, I agree that Moon is highly important in love relationships.I recently had a post on this at LL: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/205376.html IMO, it doesn't have to be an aspect between the Moons, just as as long the Moons are affected in some way. ~ Lana IP: Logged |

I once read that the Venus represents what you like / are attracted to, but that the Moon represents what you need.I think houserulerships play into this as well though. IP: Logged |

For me Moon aspects trigger love (and a wide variety on darker feelings), but not being in love.this guy with Moon as his 5th ruler may experience it differently. IP: Logged |

DD, the Moon and love, do you see it as more of a motherly caring energy? or something else? thanks.IP: Logged |

If it is only Moon alone, I`d think it would highlight emotional needs, that can be expressed in a motherly way. Question is though, how motherly can a Ge´mini Moon or an Aries-Moone be? IP: Logged |

I would think if they're expressing their moon qualities to you in a positive uplifting manner then that would be 'motherly', esp if they do it in a -gentle- way. The Aries Mooners I know will gently encourage others that it's ok to stand on their own feet, etc. if they're in a caring frame of mind..But it's not like, oh here baby lemme get a bottle for you, lol. Gemini would show it probably by being curious about you and letting you be completely open to share your thoughts, no judgments.IP: Logged |

I can relate to the moon representing what you need, DD. I can relate to Venus relating to what you are attracted to . I have a Gem Venus and am attracted to a person's mind/how they use words lolI need nurturing. I have a Cancer moon. That works perfectly --with me ------------------ Pluto conjunct Dejanira, Girlfriend. IP: Logged |

Lonake, yes, but that is an individual "motherliness", not what is usually associated with it, if you mention the word. I was not sure which way you meant. IP: Logged |

I have Venus in Capricorn squaring Pluto. Peregrine Moon in Aquarius (well it is exactly quinkunx Saturn).Though I may be attracted to a rather passionate posessive vibe in men, they better should not smother me. lol IP: Logged |

Dear DD I know you have explained this before but I was not good enough in Astrology to appreciate it. Can you describe what a peregrine moon feels like ? PS Unbreak My Heart does NOT do it for me. I went back to "Poison".
"I hear you calling and it's needle and pins I want to hurt you just to hear you screaming my name" CAN that be topped PPS DD --I feel the urge to give you an ear worm http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBHzFb0toqc&feature=related ------------------ Pluto conjunct Dejanira, Girlfriend. IP: Logged |

I am not sure whether that is all so easy if you also consider the houses.... I have a VOC Aries Moon (unaspected) in 10th and a Taurus Venus (unaspected) in 11th. I am mostly attracted to aries qualities in men, I love aries suns and ACs, I am not particularely possessive or jealous, and money is not something that attracts me particularely with men, what is important for me, is action. kamaIP: Logged |

How is this - Composite Tsquare with Moon, Venus and Saturn? I had this with a man I met back in the 1990s and he shattered my heart to smithereens. I then became one of the guys who rejected men who pursued me......interesting. I found out at the time I was rejected he had a major drinking problem and fought alot. I think maybe it was a blessing... IP: Logged |

What about harsh aspects between Venus and Mercury? quote: Hermes too fell in love with the naked goddess (Aphrodite). But when she rejected him, Hermes requested Zeus's help. The king of god sent an eagle to steal one of her sandals. To retrieve it, she was forced to submit to Hermes. The child conceived was a double-sexed child: Hermaphroditus. Our word hermaphrodite meaning a person born with both male and female reproductive organs is derived from this child.
