Moon/Pluto is very unique. One can't extract it from one's head like surgery.
I ,once, said to my Moon/Pluto guy,"I wish I could cut you out like a tumor"
He said,"Thanks, a lot"

LOL. To make things even worse, take a look at all the Saturn contacts we have. I starting to worry he has a permanent home in my head and heart. Yikes.

That having been said, it is a bit of a relief to realize this is because of the planets instead of me going off the deep end. Ha ha

Yep,we had Saturn trine Saturn, too. It is a very unique experience.
Lioness has done several threads on this.
The person gets under your skin in a way that you can't control. It is visceral is all I can say.
It IS like being a mother where you love that baby so much.
If you ever breastfeed,it is such a visceral experience.
This reminds me of Moon/Pluto.
It is beyond words, beyond your mind.
If the person is out of your life,it will fade with time.
That is the good part,I suppose, but you CANNOT rush it or push it away.
I suppose it goes by attrition, only

Gotta love attrition. LOL. According to the aspects listing in Clairvision, we have several double whammys (we have Saturn opposition among other things), so I'm thinking I may have taken up residence in his head too. If that's the case, it makes me feel a little better to think this is hard for him too (even though that's sort of a mean thing to say).

Actually, to be serious, getting over them is like mourning a death.
It really,really is.
I have mourned someone close to me.
Getting over a Moon/Pluto is grief.

OMG. We're so bad. I wish that we would have had an actual break up instead of the way we did it (we agreed that we have something powerful together but mutually agreed the timing is wrong). Unfinished business is a killer. If we would have had a real break up, it would be so much easier to move on. I have been tempted to call him up and pick a fight just to get some closure, but I don't do drama so I can't bring myself to do that (it's got to be my Cap moon, right?). LOL

Okay, this is just my dark humor coming out, but at least with mourning a death, there is definite closure! (Sorry, I couldn't resist)

Hi there

I have been in a very similar situation regarding Moon/Pluto. I had synastry with a guy (who was not free, timing all wrong!) Moon/Pluto square dw. Almost 2 years on I am just managing to get him out of my system. I am a very strong willed person but ended up obsessed with him against my will!

Other aspects contribute also but i think Moon/Pluto is the most intense aspect. I said on a different thread that this guy was in my blood and probably always will be. Deep connection that I have never experienced before, not even with ex-husband.

I would be very interested to know your Eros & Psyche synastry aspects with this guy. (Asteroids 16 & 433 on astro.com). I had a 0.10 opposition with this guy. Very close orb but being opposite explains a few things!

I'm not sure what aspects you are looking for, but here's what Astro says

Psyche Conjunct Pluto -4'14a
Eros Square Neptune -4'48a
Eros Quincunx Pluto 0'03s

Does that mean anything to anyone?

Hiya

Eros conjunct Pluto also sounds powerful! Eros/Pluto is very tight at 0.03. I had trine Ero/Pluto with my guy. There are a few really good threads on here about Eros/Pluto.

What sign is your Eros and Psyche in and what degree? Also him.

I'm just learning about the power of Eros/Psyche and finding it totally fascinating. Interested in your info as our situations bit similar!

Okay, I completely messed up on the Psyche Eros aspects. I pulled only my natal chart, but was at work so I couldn't go back and correct it. Here's the psyche eros contacts in our synastry.

Me - Psyche in Virgo/Eros in Aquarius
Him - Psyche in Taurus/Eros in Virgo

His eros:
trine my moon -0'03a
sextile my Mars 0'46a

My eros:
Trine his Venus -1'33s
Square his Uranus -2'02a
Sextile his Neptune -0;53a
Trine his Pluto 0'29s
Square his Chiron -1'53s

His Psyche:
Sextile my Saturn -1'33a
Opposite my Neptune -4'14s

My Psyche:
Conjunct his Jupiter 0'39s
Trine his ascendant 4'10a

Interesting is Karma. Mine is Cancer, his is Libra

His Karma:
Square my moon -2'11a
Opposite my Saturn -4'22s

My Karma:
Conjunct his sun 4'15s
Sextile his moon 2'00s
Conjunct his Mercury 4'08s
Sextile his Saturn 2'07s
Trine his Uranus 0'59a
Square his Pluto -1'32a
Sextile his Chiron 2'56
Opposite his MC -1'08s

What the heck does all that mean?

I just knew there was something going on between Eros & Psyche!

His Eros in Virgo conjunct your Psyche in Virgo (conjunct in sign - you don’t state degree but would be interesting to know this).

This was from a fantastic thread started by Braveheart on Eros/Psyche combinations...

HIS EROS IN VIRGO:
Cosmically activated by clean, clean, clean. Loves the pure smell of soap, freshly scrubbed skin and recently washed hair. The Virgo Eros is utterly freaked out by OTT scents.
He wants to hear: I trust you
Eros in Virgo equals love in observation mode. He has a details fetish so he relishes every little titbit of info on his object of desire. He likes to be taken into your confidence. He loves that you ask for his advice. Mystery is not a major turn-on. He wants a companion. But Eros in Virgo comes with a strong moral kick and a code of correctness. He’ll happily sit and listen to you whinge about work, talk about your technique for making toast - whatever. But he’ll flip out big time at any hint of dishonesty or tacky conduct.

HER PSYCHE IN VIRGO: Cosmically activated by rushes, river grasses, or one of those lettuce arrangements. She likes anything that’s green. Her vampish knowingness and grasp on nuance suggest an arrangement of kale with sword ferns. She needs to know that it’s more than good sex. Psyche in Virgo is the vamp of love and the mistress of nuance. Whatever her lover’s unspoken fantasies or secret motivations, she’s onto it. She’s slinky, suave and so totally together that it’s holistic. But Psyche in Virgo frets, yearning for someone to show the same grasp of her details. She wants to be finessed, to have someone remember her favourite poem or the thread of the conversation from three months ago. Utterly sensual, she is nonetheless most enticed by a deep mental affinity, by someone who understands her with no explanations needed.

HIS EROS VIRGO/HER PSYCHE VIRGO
INSTANTANEOUS COMBUSTION
Wow! This is the classic love-at-first-sight scenario. So often it seems as though fate genuinely conspires to bring these two together under the most bizarre of circumstances. For example, she shouldn’t have been there that night but she was and so she met him. When these two soul mates get together, each feels as though they are somehow coming home, its similar to the sensation felt by a child, bored at a totally adult party, suddenly meeting another kid. No matter what the differences or even the geographical and cultural distance between them! They bond on the spot and forever at some level. Even if this duo meets but once, they will never forget one another and that encounter. And yet, this is the most likely relationship to go the distance, no matter what. Both people can’t help but immediately sense the significance of the chemistry between them. They can run and they can hide but never deny the attraction.

Interesting... and just when I started to hope that I'd eventually forget him.

When I look at the chart with Eros and Psyche, his Eros is very close to my Psyche. But there aren't any aspects in the graph that comes up in another window when you click on the link.

Here are the degrees of both.

Me:
Eros 19 degrees 32'36" 8th house
Psyche 8 degrees 11'31" (Retro) 2nd house

Him:
Eros 2 degrees 20'31" 5th house
Psyche 28 degrees 34'35" 1st house

What does retro Psyche mean?

Oh yeah, and we did meet in the most random of ways. On a plane! Ha Ha

Its not so much that you have to forget him, I think maybe its more how you deal with your feelings towards him.

The guy I had my crazy connection with - we never spoke about it and nothing happened. It was all 'felt' - we could read each others mind. I only know how strong my feelings were. I will never know what he really thought and now I think I don't actually need to know.

I believe I had to go through this for a reason and now I am just about over it.

Please please I urge you not to do what I did and close yourself off from other potential relationships by 'waiting' for him. I did this and all it did was delay me from getting on with my life!

I am similar to you as my marriage of ten years ended and I felt terribly hurt and along came this guy who treated me with respect and was kind. He made me feel as though I was worth bothering about.

I trust in the universe now that what is meant for me will come eventually. I believe things will improve and don't close myself off anymore from other people/opportunities. If it takes years to meet a decent guy then thats ok. If its next week - thats ok too.

Learn to really love yourself and trust that who is truly meant for you will not pass you by.

Thanks. I haven't let it hold me back. I know how important it is, so I'm out having fun.

Unfortunately, he and I have both admitted how we feel about each other, which I think makes matters worse.

For some reason though, I have a feeling that something has shifted. I can't explain it, and maybe I'm crazy for even saying this, but I feel him thinking about me much more intensely these past couple days. I have been super busy so it's not like I'm sitting around with nothing else to think about. It's almost as if I can feel him in the room with me lately. I guess time will tell...

I finally deleted his contact info from my cell phone. It felt great. Don't know if I've totally severed the silver cord because I still think about him, but I'm getting better at pushing him out of my mind when he comes for a visit. It took a LOT of strength, but it's a relief.
