Anyway, I'm less interested in what anyone thinks of me than how annoyed I am with astrological stereotypes.

I'm annoyed with the Gemini bashing. My dear friend has a Venus in Gemini. I'm tired of hearing people banter about her supposed cheating prowress and the masses chiming in like in a frenzy of mob activity.

I'm tired of nonsense about Suns in the 12th House. I consider that one of the most promising aspects (and I don't have that). Some of the highest achieving and most famous people in history have their Suns in the 12th House.

I'm tired of Saturn being associated with repression and frustration. Well, I suppose I'm the the 1% that actually thrives on Saturn given my Sun sign.

Coming back to the original point, my so-regarded defensiveness is instinctive. I snap back when someone steps on my tail, even if it is not explicitly directed at me. Saying that the aspects that I have causes one to be a philandering fool is a huge slap right in my face. No, its more akin to a swift kick in my testicles. I love my wife to death. The thought nauseates me. Makes me want to gag and throw up.

I recognize whoever has whatever astrological expertise. Notwithstanding that, I'm not here in LL to be in some sort of popularity contest and I honestly could give two cents worth if anyone likes me or not. I have two things that nobody can take away from me: my character and my honour.

Am I being overly sensitive? Perhaps. I would even admit that, but that runs contrary to the stereotype of the aloof de-sensitized earth sign, doesn't it?

How would you like if I were to speak solely from my subjective experience? I dated four women with XYZ aspect. Therefore, XYZ aspect makes a woman a B_tch. Why are you mad? It doesn't apply to you, so don't get defensive. Anyway? Why are you defensive? You must be a B_tch then? So, how big a B_tch are you? I can take this to any dimension I want, thanks to me subjective experience in my own little life. Meanwhile, I'm missing out on the reality that the world is not like that and people are better than how I think they are.

Ian, if someone is insulting you directly, you should report it so it does not get out of hand. People covertly pick at people. Report it when it gets overt and Randall will give the person a warning and then they will be kicked off.

If someone insults a sign, we can't help that as certain placements are associated with certain behaviors. It does not MEAN the person is a skank if a person has Venus in Gemini. I do

These are just energies, Ian. You have to take Astrology like that or you will go nuts. You are taking it too literally. However, people can say things as an astrological comment and it is really meant to be a dig.If it is obvious enough, tell me and I will address the person.

You don't need to be insulted and you don't have to take it but wait for a valid insult that you can prove was directed at you.Placements are not in this category

So this popular idea that Lonake never insults anyone is just make-believe.

I like Lonake, but I also like courtesy. Are we going to be anti-courtesy to be pro-Lonake? Apparently that's how far some people will carry it.

All I keep saying is, it's not HARD to be nice. SO why not just do it.
