It's not a debate when you claim the RIGHT to be able to insult people, despite feedback telling you that your tone is abrasive...

To me it looks like you are saying, "I'm always right, little people! You need to read this, see my clarification, keep these things in mind and you will SEE I am right!"

And if we respond, you go into the hearts and hugs routine drowning any objections out.

I personally like it. I find it direct and straight forward. I wouldn't want her to express herself any other way.

Of course there are rules here about abuse and some things are inappropriate - such as personal attacks. But I don't think Lonake has done anything that is against the rules. Randall and the other mods have never mentioned her doing anything against the rules.
And aside from this episode with aquacheeka.. no one else mentioned having issues with Lonake's style.

Faith--I think YOU and everyone else should appreciate a person such as Lonake who gives her time and effort to TEACH you! Be grateful for that. Appreciate her. Tell her how you appreciate her. Don't find the small things you don't like. Everyone has them. *I* want good teachers here. Lets build up the good astrologers who care to be here FREE of charge and give their time!

She insulted me for FREE, and I didn't say thank you enough for your liking?

I decided to give her a gentle hint that she could be less insulting very easily. Instead she says everyone else is the problem.

Don't compare this to Saggi, as you did earlier on the thread. She was kicked out because Randall decided it was time for her to go. If you don't like it, you can take that up with him.

So here I am receiving more commands. I think it is uncivil to issue commands, but notice that I am not making a big deal out of it, even though it's annoying and in real life, people don't order each other around like this.

If I had ever had an instructive conversation with Lonake, or even seen her impressing me with an especially profound grasp of the subject of astrology, I could be grateful.

Truth is, I haven't. My experience.

I did say that I like her and I STILL DO in spite of this heated conversation.

Thank you for not shutting down the thread Lonake.
