Ok then - so 2 more people had an issue with the way she posts things... and 20 others did not.And if I picked any single poster here, including myself - I could find a bunch who don't like my style (what I have to say or how I say it). This is not confined to Lonake. But the majority do appreciate her. IP: Logged |

Yes, Ami Anne ganging up on one person is not OK at any cost. I think we will all try to keep that in mind and I graciously hope that you too will keep that in mind considering both you and Lonake did what your asking others not to do, to me on the abortion thread. And this behavior has been released on many others that I and the board bared witnessed to.Let's just make an agreement not to jump on someone if they make a mistake, it's all a learning process. And lets especially make an agreement to not gang up on anyone. That's never justified. Period. Let's also stop threatening people and creating unnecessary conflict. IP: Logged |

There are no rules on LL against *beating on a knowflake according to Faith's definition of "beating"*.So there was no reason to contact Randall regarding my posts towards Aquacheeka - on that thread. The rules are against personal insults. I did not personally insult Aquacheeka. Apart from this whole argument/debate - whatever it is - I actually *like* Aquacheeka's posts, which I also said on the other thread. It would just be good if people could move on from this.
As Randall mentioned - if you genuinely cannot find a way to coexist, then simply *ignore*. IP: Logged |

Betty Boop,The minority should never be discounted on the grounds that they aren't in the majority. Overall, regardless of each of our personalities we just have to treat everyone on this board better. Love not war. People will learn a lot if we all treat each other with kindness instead of with hostility. And ridiculing someone because they've made a mistake or don't agree with you is never OK. I don't understand the humor in ridiculing someone to make yourself feel better. But a lot of people seem to like to do that around here. We've just got to be better people. Myself included. VenusdiSirus - It has been going on - on a few threads.. There's the two locked threads in LLC2.. and there was one about the woman who slept with 5000 men.. I think that's where it started - that should be on the 2nd page in this forum (Astro2). There are probably others. IP: Logged |

Sheesh. Sun is shining in the sky. It's a beautiful day outside. We are all alive and blessed to be here. Why do you people want to waste all that by trying to figure out who's right?... I think it would be fair enough for a person to have to change their behaviour... if their behaviour was really causing problems, if a majority of people had issues with it.
That's not the case here. We've had trolls before.. For example "Polo" - You can look him up - and others... and there was a general consensus that those people should either change their ways or leave.
They received strikes and they were banned. Lonake is not doing anything that is so reproachable. I could literally start a thread about every single poster.. and pick on things they shouldn't have said or pick on times when they were less than politically correct. IP: Logged |

Erm, imagine a beautiful sunny day then lol! Yeah, I realized it might not be beautiful for everyone or even DAY time lol - after I wrote it! On a more serious note, LL has had its share of conflicts. I've been a member since 2006 and though I managed to stay out of all of them, I think, they did put an awkward vibe on me. Not that I am sustaining never speaking up for what you believe, but at some point in a disagreement, everyone is only looking to have the last word/be right and I think it is a shame. BB,You're right, I apologize. I shouldn't have said you were "beating on her." It was Ami calling Aquacheeka 1000% troll, and some other inflammatory comments, that I strongly objected to. Your saying that NO ONE else had a problem with Lonake also struck me as an exaggeration...for obvious reasons now. Thus Aquacheeka had the impression she was "on trial," and I agreed that it looked like that. But you were pretty level-headed throughout and I should have credited you for that. And I like Lonake!
