Ve/Pl aspects actually are factors for unrequited love. Tho of course the aspect has a range of possible manifestations, and this quality will not occur in all relationships. But I just wanted to clear that up as one aspect will not always operate at the same level, so you can't expect it to manifest the same way in all instances. It's not even a guarantee that each partner will play out their planet's role in the synastry. Which is strange, but it is what often happens. The roles change as the synastry is not static. Aspects from natal to composite would be another matter.IP: Logged |

I don`t believe that you can see unrequited feelings from composite alone, BUT in the context with the natal chart some things often become quite obvious. (I am talkinga bout tight conjunctions/oppositions of composite to natal chart only).

Ami Anne, I really enjoy reading these write ups that you post. In the name of balance, could you think of doing an opposite one to this, and instead of what makes for passion, what makes for apathy?------------------ Astrology Activism: The constant strive to not just learn the intricate details of Astrology but the desire to constantly find new ways to prove that it exists in a scientific manner. Failure to incorporate the later into your work is akin to learning how to cure cancer but not sharing it with anyone. IP: Logged |

Wow Sashar Thanks for your kind words. I feel led to do one on what makes for violence. Sashar, the articles write themselves. They come to me with the topic and I follow them ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

And this is all very interesting btw! I've ALWAYS wondered how venus sq pluto manifested. Also, what you said, lonake, about moon/venus needing to be involved for it to be love rather than just attraction. Do you mean an aspect between the moon and venus? IP: Logged |

Sorry for the confusion. I threw that in there as an aside. I wasn't referencing unrequited love in the context of comparing a natal to a composite. I was referencing the nature of that comparison as being more static. As in, it was a tangent. But interestingly, I got a hold of someone's birth info who experienced a huge loss romantically, unrequited, back in 2010, I checked the aspects for that day, p.Venus 4 Aquarius sa.Pluto 4 Scorpio So, not just in natal or the synastry it seems. He also had t.Saturn opp p.Mars that day, exact, so there was an element of holding back to maintain a sense of control. It added to his frustration as well over the incident. He added in to that, it could have played out differently. And he has a theme in his chart of not being comfortable expressing vulnerability, is afraid of intimacy. It was a huge lesson for him, and he's still not over it. IP: Logged |

RAS, When I mentioned the Sun/NN/Jup/Mars in relation to Saturn/Pluto, which was one part of my response, there is no Moon/Venus link there. The only Venus link I covered there was Ve/Pl. Sorry again for the confusion.IP: Logged |

Venus/Pluto is an interesting one. It can make for very passionate mutual attraction, or it can indicate - like Lonake pointed out- unrequited one as well. I think the main intent of Pluto is to bring you kathartic experience - with Venus - in terms of love, aesthetics and relationship. And he doesn`t care if it is going to happen through a compulsive unrequited feelings scenario or in a binding intensely passionate affair / relationship.IP: Logged |

Ceridwen,"I think the main intent of Pluto is to bring you kathartic experience - with Venus - in terms of love, aesthetics and relationship. And he doesn`t care if it is going to happen through a compulsive unrequited feelings scenario or in a binding intensely passionate affair / relationship." So ... is it Pluto's love that's unrequited or is it Veunus's love that goes unrequited (if it were to go in that direction)? Thx IP: Logged |

It depends on the "natal resonance" as I call it.Actually I think one main factor here in Ras example is that she resonates with Venus-Pluto very strongly (natal square involving the rulers of 2nd and 8th house), while his natal doesn`t resonate with Venus-pluto. He has Mars trine Pluto, but this probably is just strong enough to exhibit a "hook" to get the attention and feelings of a Venus-pluto-person, but it is not what he personally "needs". IP: Logged |

ras,for later reference so I do not forget it: your composite has Sun opposite Neptune with Sun being conjunct MEDEA squaring OPHELIA in Libra in 12th exact. IP: Logged |

How about this venus/pluto synastry? How will each handle it? xD I always thought that the pluto there is triggering the girl's stellium in the 1st house, so, that would mean she would display more of those venus/merc/pluto aspects when she's with him?? Girl on the inside.

Ami,Only for you. Because few people here, if any, would appreciate it, even if they may understand. I listen to this song whenever I'm depressed. "I got Passion. Endurance. Focus. Struggle. Pain. Driven. Will. Suffering. Shame. You are God's Passion." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SASMu60WhOU
