Any man (regardless of nationality/culture) with significant fixed-sign influence in his chart - is already pretty traditional. Leo, Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio will wait a very long time to 'get' the woman of their dreams, if necessary. If she says no to physical things (including sex) - they would respect her boundaries. Sure - they might push for some action - but they would have more respect for a woman who puts her foot down and says "no way" - as opposed to "maybe" .. (Specially on a first date). However - a Leo coming from a more open minded culture(eg if he was Danish) - could maybe look past this and forget his ideals of "purity" for the sake of egalitarianism. But a Russian guy? No way.
Spot on, Odette! And he seems to have been well-mannered, so he is probably from a family with a lot of "fixed" opinions on women and dating. IP: Logged |

As a Leo with Virgo Venus (gem moon)He expected to be completely irresistible to you. He wanted you to utterly worship him and be defenseless to his advances. Since that was not the case he has gone cold to pout, show you that he could care less (though he does care), and most important as a test to pull away to see if you'll come running. (the whole irresistible thing.) IP: Logged |

And what do you usually expect the person to do? Coddle you? And if they do don't you just feel like they've given in and lose respect for them? Or no? quote: Originally posted by DeepFreeze: As a Leo with Virgo Venus (gem moon)He expected to be completely irresistible to you. My dad is like that... Must suck to be a hetero leo man because most women want a man to be less focused on his own vanity and on her desirability.. But in all fairness most men spend a fraction of the time getting ready unlike women so yeah I've never heard women being like OMG MY MAN LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL TODAY LIKE WOW I'M SO IMPRESSED. because he looks like that everyday lol.. Exactly!! I guess that's part of what throws me off. Despite how "manly" he is and wants to be seen there's almost a "feminine" energy about how he wants to be viewed. I'm a cancer sun w/ aqua moon cancer Venus and mercury and mars in leo...and I just don't know that I have enough energy to "baby" a man constantly! LolOh And I have an Aries rising! That's what they want. Then they just have to throw a button down shirt on and she's like: "My man is a SEX GOD!"

It's tricky. lol If they get clingy and attached too soon... "later!" like a middle ground thing but everyone is different. He's not behaving like I would in the same circumstance but I do understand I think. I'm quite a bit more patient. It's much later before all that comes out. lol IP: Logged |

Mmm well I have dated leo ladies xD but I will contribute to get the others going or something My experience with leos have been wonderful and I love the positive vibes that they have, they are really wonderful. For me though, I couldn't handle the amount of attention that they demanded [venus in leos] Maybe culture played a role in my case as well? Since I am asian and the leo lady was Jamaican. But then again last 6 girlfriends of mine were Jamaican or Carribean background, except that one south asian/indian lady I dated, and I didn't find culture differences to be problematic so... And I really liked how this one leo lady told me that I was pretty often xD I would be able to be playful with them, and we would be able to laugh for a long time xD I have Leo rising, sag sun, aries moon, sag mercury, cap venus, scorpio mars. My leo rising attracted a lot of leo mars and leo venus ladies but due to my scorpio mars... ugh nvm anyways leos are really wonderful but I think they are best matched with venus in cancers or fellow venus in leos xD IP: Logged |

Wow, this thread got a bit active since I last looked. The thing is, it wouldn't matter whether you kissed him on the first date, kissed him with tongues, let him do naughty things to you on your lady bits, or had full-blown sex. If you're two mutually consenting adults then what's the problem. Just never assume he will see you as "girlfriend" material afterwards, that's all. I kissed and even had sex with a guy on our first date (admittedly I was on holiday) ... I ended up staying with him for three years. Other times I've held out for as many dates as possible and the romance STILL fizzled out pretty quick. There are no set rules really. It's just that men often see things as black and white and if you were able to share a bed with him, then he may have assumed you were up for more. Him "thinking about the experience" might actually be him thinking: "does she do this with ALL guys on her first dates?" It's just how men are, it sounds old-fashioned I know, but some things will never change when it comes to men's attitudes to women and sex. IP: Logged |

he sounds extremely insecure and immature. my bets are if you were to have given him what he wanted your relationship would heat up fast and end even faster...from my experience leos have a really hard time controlling their impulses, what you see is what you get emotionally wise. and they get really clingy as well....since you wanted your space he took this personally and his passion probably has died/his pride is hurt....its hard to win with them because they are so freakin stubbornIP: Logged |

Horrid. They're too childish!!! I once said, "I'm too old for games" he said, "Games make it fun" NO🙅 I'm surprised he let you know he's been snooping because the men usually abuse what they find, not confront. ------------------ Leo ♌️ Sun, (2nd House), Venus (3nd House) Scorpio ♏ Moon,Mars,Saturn (5th House) Cancer ♋ Rising Svātī Nakshatra IP: Logged |

Wow! I'm still on "Games make it fun"-_-. I would be sooo annoyed by that! I was surprised too but I think its because I just played dumb and ignored his pouts. When he was all grumpy and answered "YES", I was like "Morning!" Lol- quote: Originally (posted by LoadedPistil: Horrid. They're too childish!!! Thanks for your insight. Yes,it did! LolYea,just find his pouting excessive and even though I want to talk about it and fix it I wonder if it's even worth the effort. While on the date, chemistry seemed off the charts but this?! Not fun :-/. quote: Originally posted by Jo B: Wow, this thread got a bit active since I last looked. Clingy, really? Hmm...I wouldn't have thought this a Leo trait but yea you may be right. Im just stunned bc I can't help but think isn't THIS the time when you're on your best behavior and let certain things go. Its like he wants to make this huge show of being upset and is waiting for me to bow down. I'm a mars in leo too so...uhhh....not gonna happen! LolIt would if I felt I did something to him...but yea no. Part of me wants to have an honest convo about it so we can move on. The other part says "girl, run!". quote: Originally posted by foxxyxo: he sounds extremely insecure and immature. my bets are if you were to have given him what he wanted your relationship would heat up fast and end even faster...from my experience leos have a really hard time controlling their impulses, what you see is what you get emotionally wise. and they get really clingy as well....since you wanted your space he took this personally and his passion probably has died/his pride is hurt....its hard to win with them because they are so freakin stubborn

You think they are best matched w/ Venus in Cancers? Really? I'm Venus in cancer and I have to admit that my instinct is to baby him, kiss it and make it all better in a sense...BUT...if this is his pouting session after not hitting "goal" on the 1st date. What the hell have a got to look forward to if we actually get into a relationship. We had a blast with A + chemistry. He was funny, charming, protective, and a complete gentleman at 1st but the turn was swift and THAT makes me wonder if its worth the energy. I feel like I may be in trouble a lot with him...Not really trying to play Lucy to his Ricardo :-) quote: Originally posted by Venusincap89: Mmm well I have dated leo ladies xD but I will contribute to get the others going or something My experience with leos have been wonderful and I love the positive vibes that they have, they are really wonderful.
