Excellent question Dee. I am also a Scorpio Asc. and what I find is that it can definitely show on the rising (at times more so than any other place) but it depends on the aspects and the condition of the ascendant. For example I have Pluto in Scorpio conjunct my Asc. in Scorpio. I truthfully don't see myself as being sexy (esp when I was younger) but most ppl I encounter beg to differ. I am always being accused of making others feel uncomfortable with my sexual aura. They may stutter or become bashful while talking to me due to the sexual thoughts or feelings I may have inadvertently evoked. Which is funny since I am so reserved and mild-mannered (I can be shy too but reserved is much more fitting, as I can have a pretty sharp tongue).

I wouldn't be surprised if you have a similar effect on ppl that you're not fully aware of. I think we seem more sexual to others than we seem to ourselves. We tend to be have a spiritual/intellectual interest or fascination with sex and it's power/depth quite early but never really feel this part of us can be detected by others. However, after a while many (not all) of us start to become aware and even develop some control over it (that can often be used to our advantage). It happens with time and spiritual exploration. However, I must stress it depends on the condition of the Ascendant. Also you are completely right, the condition of Mars is super important as well. Especially for Scorpio Ascendant since we are ruled by Mars and Pluto. So Mars in Virgo might give the sexual aura of your Scorpio Asc a more reserved or conservative nature. Look at the aspects/signs/houses that affect both of those planets in your chart to get better insight

If you are comfortable sharing the condition of those planets I don't mind helping you determine the type of energy your specific Scorpio Asc gives.

YES! So on point. I can VERY reserved as well(despite having a Leo Sun) and I do have a huge interest in spiritual forms of sexuality like taoism, tantra, transmuting sexual energy,etc...

Pluto in Scorpio/1st House
- conjunct Asc wide(9 degrees)
- square MC(2 degrees)
- square Jupiter wide(8 degrees)
