More misandric garbage.... Now,why does that not surprise me? The essay starts out by talking about how men in this town are overwhelmingly poor and unemployed. Then it tells us the women are doing far better job wise and then does a complete 180 and tells us women have it so rough.
The reason men are lagging behind in this country is our d*mn government and schools have given boys the middle finger and told them they don't matter. A lot of schools don't even offer courses like automotive that would give boys meaningful skills. Schools also have sh*tty stem departments but they sure love courses geared towards girls. Meanwhile our government is allowing all of these corporations to send jobs overseas. That's why men are lagging behind in this country. But I guess people are going to stay in denial and say "you go girl!" while women keep getting worthless liberal arts degrees and more and more men lash out at a system that is stacked against them.IP: Logged |

I recall you telling young people to get into trades. There's only one problem with that.... In most cases you have to do an apprenticeship to get licensed in a trade. Why's that a problem? The older generation of men aren't willing to train young men in most cases! For awhile I was interested in doing locksmithing and I went to every locksmith in the region and none of them were willing to train a young man. The f*cked up thing is all of those guys were young and inexperienced at one point and some guy gave them a chance. Yet they are unwilling to pay it forward and pass on their skills and knowledge to the younger generations. Baby Boomer men are the most worthless human beings that have ever stepped foot on this planet. They let everything go to **** on their watch and left my generation with a huge ****** up situation and they still have the audacity to criticize us. IP: Logged |

I bet you whoever wrote this is like the baby boomer guy who hired my two female cousins to run two of his gold buying store locations. Neither of my cousins have a college degree or prior management experience but they are women and that's all that matters right? People like that give advantages to women and sh*t on men for not being able to succeed as much as women when they are doing everything to help women and actively making life harder on men. BTW this guy that hired my cousins to run his stores also hired a guy that does all the dirty work and he only gets paid 10$ an hr. My cousins? I really hate how these articles are written. They do present a lot of truths but they twist those truths because they have an agenda. What is their agenda? Male bashing.it's true that men/boys are falling behind in a lot of ways. I don't have a problem with that message, I have a problem with the way it is presented. If men/boys are falling behind why not make helping them a priority instead of bashing them? You know.... Kind of liked they made women and girls the priority decades ago and never looked back. Aquaguy,Women don't really have it easier than men. all this change is geared towards leveling the playing field for women reached than trying to put women in front. And if men are falli behind, it's because know women are working harder and earning their pay. It's actually not easier for women in stem programs or fields either. They're just trying to raise awareness to encourage females in a traditionally male heavy field. Also, apprenticeships are notoriously hard to get. Usually they won't take you unless you have some knowledge in the field. And since that's kinda unrealistic, most appreticeship programs want you to have completed or currently be enrolled in certain classes. Yeah, technically they should take your with no knowledge whatsoever, but usually they prefer people that seem dedicated and are willing to spend their own time and money to learn. And also when it comes to small companies, it looks like they take people they know (friends son, friend of a friend, niece needs a job) before some random person. But don't take my word for it, because I know someone that got an apprenticeship fm a hugeee aerospace company because of his aunt. IP: Logged |
