Well, I re-iterate my original point that a Nessus relationship will strip down your defenses until you are naked i.e. real.
Then ,you are the real you. Then, depression will leave cuz depression is from the false self.
Then,you will have the joy that comes with being you, the you you REALLY are.
The price is to feel what the Nessus relationship brings up in you---pain from all the pain you had from every betrayal and every abandonment and every time you thought you would DIE from the pain.
Nessus will dig it up like a dog who brings prey to the owner.
It is ugly, gross in fact,but it is primal and it is real and you will never have Heaven without Hell.
Nessus is a touch of Hell.------------------

Ever since I read on Nessus I am thinking it's - synastry wise - the maker of all miseries
lol No, seriously, friction emanating from other hard aspects and/or incompatibility is of course part of the menu, but I believe the gut-wrenching frustration that comes when you re dealing with a person you share a Nessus aspect is...off charts :P
Recent example, a tiff for no reason at all...I d have chalked it up to the person's Merc Pisces but its not jut confusion...its hellish manipulation...!IP: Logged |

I am just gonna write some musings on this Nessus thread. Join in if you care to.
I am seeing the balances in life,the yin and the yang.
I studied Acunpuncture . The world and all experience is categorized under yin or yang.
More specifically, it is seen as a the balance of the yin and the yang.
HOW it is balanced is the main issue/question.
It is like homeostasis in the body.
Accupuncture deals with the energy body which is as real as the physical body.------------------

With disease, you don't diagnos it with a name such as cancer, or asthma.
You diagnos it as something like too much yang etc
I studied it a long time ago so cannot remember the specifics.
The 5 element theory was used ,also.
Diseases could be called too much wind,too little fire etc.
Your condition could be too watery. Then, Moxa ,for example,could be used on an accupuncture point.
Moxa looked like a cigar and was lit and held over the point to warm it.

I bring this up cuz I am thinking about Nessus.
The chart is like the body.
With accupuncture, the goal is to seek balance.
Disease is simply a state of imbalance.
That is IT.
It is not a huge complicated thing as in Western medicine.

Granted,if the body is severely out of balance, you need a very good practioner to restore balance but the theory behind it is simple.------------------

That brings me to Nessus
To me,Nessus is one of the scariest parts of the chart.
I am not familiar with most asteroids so I cannot comment on others.
To me, if Nessus is the yang, then you will never be able to use the other wordly quality of Neptune and the beauty of Venus,the yin,unless you draw in and accept Nessus.------------------

I have very strong Neptune. However,I will go up in the air if I can't pull it down with some balancing aspects.
I have very strong Venus ,too,but the same holds true with that.
One incorporates the easier energies well.
However, the easier energies will NOT be given full expression if you do not balance them out with the "opposite" ones.
That is what I was trying to say .

I see it with Pluto/Venus.
I can't give love ,freely, to all people.
I will go over a cliff.
It is not possible to give love without discernment.
Pluto is discernment cuz it can SEE.It is ,also, power.
In order to walk through this world,one must push away people and things which assault you.
That is Pluto's job description.
Talk softly and carry a big stick.
If one were ALL PLuto and no Venus,one would be hard and suspicious.
However,if one were all Venus and no Pluto,one would be road kill ------------------

I knew someone who was all Pluto and little Venus.
He was very successful.He was a multi millionare,self made.
No one ever took advantage of him.
He was a bully but also a coward.
If you stood up to him, he backed down,as all bullies do. However,the main thing was how Plutonian he was.
When he died,leaving millions behind for people to fight over,lol,I thought "So what that he backed everyone down and no one got one over on him"
So what?
