My Venus in Virgo sends me to my 6th house, too. Cusp in Capricorn, the whole house is in Capricorn plus a tiny weeny slice of Aquarius, just a few degrees worth. No planets no Vertex no nothing. Hmm. I did say in the Beauty thread that when I analyzed some chart of people I find beautiful, I was surprised to find more Capricorn among their signs than I expected to, but romance-wise... nope. I'm not attracted to Saturnian qualities. Enneline described the traits of my 3rd house as a house of attraction (my Venus in Virgo sits in the 3rd house, Virgo on cusp), and that suits the whole idea much better. However, I seem to be attracted to hard Saturn aspects. Several guys I liked had their Saturn square my Mars, my Saturn squaring their something too. But none had any prominent Saturn or a lot of Cap. My Sag Mars sends us to the 9th house. Pisces on cusp, a slice of Aries at the end of the house. No planets. My Neptune is in Sag conj my Mars back in the 5th, and the secondary ruler Jupiter is in Virgo conj Venus in the 3rd. Now, Neptune maybe. It squares my Venus and I usually have a lot of Neptune contacts in synastry. Pisces, dunno, maybe. Something romantic and mysterious, a fantasy vibe. Aries, too, but my MC is in Aries trine my Mars, that's an easier explanation. Maybe it works in a more noticeable ways when secondary houses have planets or angles in them? quote: Originally posted by Enneline: Hmmm...I wouldn't say he is the classic model-hunter but moon in the house of Taurus (ruled by venus)...yeah a bit of a strike for beauties, but maybe he likes a dreamy, exotic or even eccentric looks? Nope, only a Libra Pluto, no Taurus at all. IP: Logged |

Yes, for me it does. my Mars is in Sagittarius, my 9th house starts at the end of Leo, and has all of Virgo intercepted. (and their ruler Sun and Mercury, leading back into Sagittarius lol) Not that much in terms of Leo (9th cusp is at 26 Leo), but Virgo comes up indeed. In friendships, too. But looking back, the Sun, VEnus or Mars in Virgo has been coming up in men I have been attracted to. And as you know Mr Sag has a Mars-Jupiter-conjunction in Virgo, so fitting in here,t oo.
For him Venus is in capricorn, with 10th house cusp being on 28 Sagittarius conjunct Sun and Moon in Sagittarius, and it ends at 16 Capricorn. How funny both his rulers of the 10th house, are in Virgo. so the secondary Venus is in Sagittarius with ruler in VIrgo for him. And for me sec. Mars is in Virgo with ruler in Sagittarius (even conj. his MC. lol). Anyway I would actually fit into that forh im rather well, with my stellium in Sag, and especially Sun on the cusp of 10th house, and my Venus is in Capricorn in his 10th house. Funny isn`t it? my Venus falls into his secondary Venus-house. his Mras falls into my secondary Mars-house. lol he actually has a thing for Sagittarius-Mars inw omen I think. At least 2 of his former girlfriends had Mars just a few degrees off each other, and coincidentally conjunct my Mars as well.
I am always fascinated by patterns like these. Like Jude Law`s ex wife and ex-girlfriend both had an Aquarius-Moon. Stuff like that intrigues me. In Mr Sag`s case the Mars-position makes a little sense. It falls into his 8th house, is on the antiscion of his Venus, his intercepted 7th house ruler, and additionally conjunct his Mercury, his main 7th house ruler, btw.
My Dad has an Aqua Venus with 11th house in Cancer, and Pluto in Leo placed at the end of it. My Mom has a Cancer ASC (though not in his 11th house and a Scorpio-Sun. my mom has a Virgo-Mars, 6th house in Sagittarius. My Dad doesn`t fit into that symbolism too well, though he has Jupiter conjunct Venus and trine Mars. Oh and we could consider the wide conjunction to Sun - so he does fit I suppose. lol
My best friend has Mars in Libra, 7th house in Capricorn. Her husband`s Sun-ASC-conjunction is not only in Capricorn but actually CONJUNCT her DESC!
He on the other hand has Venus in Sag, 9th house in LIbra, with Uranus in scorpio therein. She has a fat stellium in Libra; Mercury-Venus-Mars-Pluto-conjunction! opposing Moon and squaring ASC. Moon in 11th house Wow, they are really two peas in a pod, aren`t they? my brothers Venus is in aries, 1st house starts in Pisces, with Aries intercepted, with Venus-Mars in Aries. His Girlfriend has ASC in Aries. Taurus intercepted. (Venus-Mars, right? ). her Mars is in Scorpio, 8th house in Sagittarius, with Uranus (and SN) therein. My brother has a close triple conjunction of Moon-Jupiter-Uranus in Sagittarius, falling onto her Uranus and SN! oh anbd MC in Sag. and Jupiter square Sun. chartruler and Sun-dispositor in Sagittarius.
another friend of mine has Mars in Leo; 5th house in Virgo, Libra intercepted. Pluto placed in it.
The love of her life has MErcury in Virgo, exactly square his ASC (btw his Sun-Uranus in Leo conjuncts her Mars anyway. lol) MC in Libra. Pluto square ASC. he on the other hand has venus in Cancer (right on her ASC), 4th house in Aries widely conjunct Moon in Pisces (still in 3rd house, but it is a cardinal cusp. lol)
She has a Cancer-ASC, trine Neptune; Moon in 12th house in Cancer (so that fits the Moon in Pisces). On first glance she does not fit the Aries in his chart so much. However her Mars is right on her IC and involved in a very difficult, but prominent T-square Mars in Leo on IC opposing Sun-Saturn-conjunction in Aquarius on MC squaring Neptune in Scorpio in 6th house. The Mars opposite Sun might do the trick here. All in all it seems like for these few examples I picked it worked very well. Oh wait I forgot to check Jude Law`s chart. lol Well as I said my 9th house is Leo, Virgo. He does not really fit it all that much, except that he has Sun and Mercury in 1st house (but he never was my ideal man, in the sense of Mars anyway).
he has Venus in Sagittarius, and well Virgo in 9th house, with Pluto in Libra still in 9th (though conj. MC). Yes, that fits his exes I think. Sadie Frost has Mars in Virgo with Uranus-Pluto in Virgo, too. While not being personal, her Uranus-Pluto squares his Venus. lol No strong LIbra or Venus, however Pluto sextile her Venus; well we do not know her bt so maybe the ASC-ruler or ASC will be in play here. as for Sienna Miller No strong Virgo or Mercury. However her Mars is on 5 Libra, RIGHT on his Pluto and MC. and squaring her own Sun and trine Venus (and possibly Moon) so she pretty much covered his sec-Venus condition (except that Mrecury is missing). ?! Why are you afraid of that His moon is in Gemini in the 3rd house (ruled by Gemini) Venus in Taurus in 1st house (ruled by Aries) and you are a gemíni sun and have venus in aries. quote: Originally posted by LeeLoo2014: Inspired by Lotis, for an in depth analysis, I'm also looking at the secondary houses of Venus and Mars. I've noticed it works! I've also noticed certain patterns appear. For example, someone with Mars in Gemini will have the 3rd house as an attraction house, when it comes to their Mars (physical attraction, sexual preferences). I look at the signs in that house, not only the cusp, but pay an extra attention to the house ruler, of course. I look at the planets there, they will have a connotation related to planet Mars for that person. People putting planets there or aspecting the ruler or aspecting that planet will be considered attractive in this respect. The same with Venus. Thank you, Lotis! About the emerging patterns: My Venus in Virgo sends me to my 6th house, cusp in Gem, almost the entire house in Cancer, Saturn at the end of the house. It says for my Venus to be properly activated, the person has to have something in Gem and/or Cancer, he has to aspect my Mercury (which is already my 5th/8th ruler), he has to have a strong Cancerian flavor (in tune with my 7th too) and he must be Saturnian in some ways and aspect my Saturn. So there's a congruence in all this, in tune with my love rulers and houses. Another example: he has Mars in Gem. Looking at his 3rd, I see Scorpio and Sag, with Neptune in Sag. So he will be attracted to someone aspecting his Pluto (which makes a lot of sense for a guy with Pluto conj ASC, trine Venus and Mars and having a Scorpio Moon) and his Neptune, the apex of his Kite, and the opposition is Mars opp Neptune!. This person must have a Scorpio/Sag vibe. Lotis, have you noticed this too? Anyone else, does it fit for you, the secondary houses of your Venus and Mars?
Yes. I've been ranting and raving about this on various threads throughout LL for quite a while now. What I've noticed is that women are frequently attracted to men who resonate with the secondary house of their Mars sign, while they identify with, and admire other women who resonate with the secondary house of their Venus sign. On the other hand, men are frequently attracted to women who resonate with the secondary house of their Venus sign, while they identify with, and admire other men who resonate with the secondary house of their Mars. In my chart… My Mars is in Leo in the 9th house, and I think this places a lot of emphasis on my 5th house. I’d already be attracted to my 5th house anyway, but Mars in Leo exaggerates it for sure. I have Aries on the 5th house ruled by Mars in Leo so there's a kind of circuit going on. I love Aries placements, and I love guys with passionate, outgoing personalities, that tend to be the centre of attention and joke around a lot. But he can’t be too irresponsible. I’m a Capricorn Sun and I also need a guy who can exert some self-control when necessary. I’ve go Venus in Sagittarius, and on my 9th house is Leo, Mars and Saturn are in my 9th, and my Capricorn Sun rules the 9th. Yeah, I have noticed that I do often admire and identify with Leo/Cap type qualities in other women in general. The gender planets have to do with our personal conceptions of gender roles, and the kind of behavior and attitude we like and approve of regarding men and women. I’ve noticed I admire when a women has self-respect, is levelheaded, passionate about something, and classy (not is a snotty status-obsessed way, but in the sense that she has integrity). You can be dirt-poor and still carry yourself like a lady. I think Venus in Sagittarius in the 1st has an influence here too, in that I admire some cheerfulness, sweetness, and a positive attitude, in other women as well. The 9th house Mars and Saturn shows in that I admire when a women has a strong sense of identity, and knows what she will and will not put up with. She has standards. I tend to see myself in this kind of way as well… As a women who is levelheaded, and principled, with a strong sense of identity and self-respect, who is also sweet, positive, and kind. This is the ideal I aspire to, and wish to cultivate as much as possible. My Moon in Cancer adds a touch of vulnerability here as well. Interestingly, I’ve also noticed that a lot of women whose look I admire have Leo, Capricorn, and Sagittarius, strong in their charts. So, as a women with Venus in Sagittarius, I see my 9th house as an extension of my feminine self-image. I never thought of it as saying more about my attraction to men as well. I look to the secondary house of Mars for that. However, in my chart the situation is confused by the fact that my secondary Venus house falls on Leo with Mars in that house, while my secondary Mars house falls on Aries ruled by Mars in Leo. There is significant overlap. My Venus secondary house may very well work for what I like on guys to some extent… Hard to tell though because of my chart. What I definitely have noticed is the house of Mars for attraction/admiration of men, and the house of Venus for attraction/admiration of women.

I've never been comfortable with the traditional theory: women look for a man like their Sun/Mars, men look for a woman like their Moon/Venus. I think it has to be both. A woman feels very feminine and accomplished as a woman if a man aspects her Venus and her Moon; the same with a man, when a woman aspects his Mars and his Sun. But what is really important, IMO, is to have Yin/Yang pairs, for both genders: masculine planets to be aspected by feminine planets of the other and viceversa. I'd say a woman's type is a man aspecting her feminine planets with his masculine planets( Sun, Mars, Pluto, Jupiter, Uranus etc.) and her masculine planets with his feminine planets (Moon, Venus, Neptune) and viceversa, a man's type is a woman aspecting his Mars and Sun with her feminine planets and his Moon and Venus with her masculine ones (Sun, Mars, Pluto, Jupiter, Uranus etc.). Some masculine on masculine/feminine on feminine are good too, they give an outside-gender closeness/connection (such as Venus on Venus, Mars on Mars etc.). Mercury is transgender (both genders, can take any gender flavor). This is much closer to what I see in synastries than the traditional view. ------------------

Hi, I agree that most women love it when a guy aspects her feminine planets with his masculine planets, as it makes her feel appreciated as a women. And vice versa, when a women aspects a guy's masculine planets with her feminine aspects. I tend to view synastry aspects as in a separate category then natal symbolism though. Synastry aspects show chemistry. Natal symbolism shows taste. The natal symbolism of a women's masculine planets will show what types of men press her buttons. And the natal symbolism of a guys feminine planets will show what types women press his buttons. Venus is an interesting case though. Venus symbolizes young women of marriageable age (ready for courtship) in the natal chart. Venus also shows the qualities we look for in a relationship. As in what type of relationship we want to have, and some of the traits we are attracted to in others in general (regardless of gender). I've noticed with Venus the planet, that both men and women are attracted to their Venus qualities to some extent. I suspect that Venus as the 'attractive young women' comes from Venus' rulership of the 2nd house. The 2nd house is all about appreciating beauty, and the nice things in life. I also suspect that Venus showing the general characteristics we like in 'all significant one on one relationships', comes from Venus as ruler of the 7th house. The 7th house shows our not only our spouse, but all of our partnerships, including our best friend, business partner, and whatnot. With men, the tendency to be attracted to Venus is pronounced. Venus shows their type of women, and the general relationship characteristics they like regardless of gender. Both are shown by the same thing for men. Venus. Mars will show a guy's sense of masculine identity. With women, Mars will show her type of man. But Venus shows qualities she loves in others regardless of their gender, the type of relationship she wants, and her feminine identity. It's like women get an extra signifier in their attraction pattern. Considering this, I think it's possible that a women may be attracted in a general way to her Venus house. As well as identifying with her Venus house in terms of her role as a women. There might be some mixing there. With guys it's more straightforward. They identify with the house of Mars. They are attracted to the house of Venus, in terms of both their significant one on one relationship likes, and their taste in ladies. Mars wouldn't attract a guy unless he has Mars ruling one of the 5th, 7th, or 8th houses. I guess this is my whole view on the gender planet-house scenario. IP: Logged |

Well, his Mars is in Virgo; so his secondary Mars hosue is the 6th house, falling into LEO, with Sun in SAGITTARIUS conjunct MC (and Moon). Yeah, I`d say this definitely fits the performer.
Applying that to myself; my Venus is in Capricorn; 10th house is in LIBRA, conj. PLUTO (uranus on the last degree of it), leading of course back to Venus in CAPRICORN.
That is interesting.

I've been taught that if the type is wrong (i.e. the guy's chart doesn't fit her Mars-Sun, the girl's chart doesn't fit his Moon-Venus) while some Yin/Yang aspects exist, the relationship will be lukewarm or might never take off, yet if the type is right, but there aren't enough Yin/Yang interplays, the relationship will be a short one. However, when I look at real synastries, I very often see the 'wrong' types. I keep wondering if it means synastry is much more complicated than it is supposed to be--or people simply often like to get into imperfect relationships, or stay in relationships without a lot of emotion, or generally keep a so-so relationship despite not being totally happy. Though I've seen one case in which synastry really worked. I'll find the birth dates and show you the charts. This guy in his late twenties, a very proper young man coming from a long line of university professors/teachers, who was engaged to a nice woman of about the same age, met a biker chick in her mid-forties who earned her living as a bartender in a night club, cursed like a sailor and smoked nonstop. He was in love instantly. Broke the engagement, braved the family's anger, left to live with her in her tiny apartment. Several years later, he calls her "my goddess". They are so happy. Their synastry is like a classic proof of that old-fashioned Mars-Venus thing. Her Mars right on his Sun-stellium, his Venus right on her Sun-stellium. They have more good aspects than those, including Yin/Yang parts, it's just one of the few times where I actually saw a happy couple who fit each other's types in such a straight-forward way. Hi starrynight and everybody, Well, there’s more then one way to be someone’s ‘type’. The gender planets do show a lot about our type in terms of style, and whatnot, but I’ve actually noticed they are not very sign-specific in terms of attraction. We like that ‘type’. However, our partner doesn’t HAVE to have that sign as their Sun, Moon, or Asc. While it might be nice if the do in some cases, the gender planet match to our partner's chart doesn't have to be that obvious. Attraction to our gender planets in the partner’s chart is a lot more subtle then matching the Sun, Moon, and Asc, by sign to our gender planets. Often a partner may meet our gender planet attractions through little, not so obvious, tidbits in their chart. Like if a women has a Pisces Mars, a guy might have a stellium in the 12th house, or Neptune conjunct the Asc, or some other important planet in his chart could be strongly aspecting Neptune. He does not have to be a Pisces Sun, Moon, or Asc. Or a Pisces personal planet stellium. The gender planets often reflect each other in the charts of partners too. If a guy has a Scorpio Moon he might be attracted to a women with Pluto strongly aspecting the Sun or Moon, or to a women who has Sun or Moon in the 8th house, as well as to a women with Sun or Moon in Scorpio. If a Women has Sun conjunct Jupiter she might be attracted to guys with a Sagittarius Sun or Moon, or Sun or Moon in the 9th house. Same thing with Venus and Mars. They can reflect each other in the charts of partners. One partner may have Venus in Capricorn, while the has a Venus/Saturn or Mars/Saturn aspect. Also, if the partner doesn’t have planets reflecting the symbolism of our gender planets themselves, we can look at the symbolism the secondary houses for the signs of Mars and Venus. So there’s more then one chance to meet someone’s gender planet attractions. If a guy has Venus in Cancer, and Aries on the 4th house cusp, he actually has Venus-like attractions to both Cancer and Aries. There’s more then one way to satisfy a person’s gender planets attractions. I wouldn’t assume that just because a two partners don’t seem to match each others gender planets on surface level that they are not really in love and don’t feel chemistry. There’s much more subtle nuances to each partners chart to consider. Especially regarding the relationship houses which I haven‘t mentioned yet. Which leads me to my next topic… In my observation the 5TH, 7TH, and 8TH HOUSES are what actually show our direct sign-specific attractions. More so then the gender planets. The gender planets are only one part of a story, that has multiple parts, when it comes to identifying someone’s type. The 5th, 7th, and 8th houses show a lot about our type as well, and often in a more sign-specific way then the gender planets. The 5th, 7th, and 8th houses can not be ignored. They show our desires and requirements for the three different areas of love relationships. The 5th house: Romantic sparks and flirting, feeling in love. The 7th house: Long term relationship suitability, and loving affection. The 8th house: Merging our resources with a partner, and sharing private intimacy with them. The 5th, 7th, and 8th houses in synastry anchor the partner as part of our everyday reality in these areas of life. The symbolism of each of these houses shows what we are attracted to in a partner for each of these areas of the relationship. Do they excite us ?(the 5th house). Do they fit our partner ideals? (7th house). Do we feel we can open up to them, and share our lives with them on a deeply personal level? These things are shown by how a partner connects with each of these houses. If a women connects to a guys gender planets but she doesn’t connect to his relationship houses, he may be fascinated by her style and personality, but an actual relationship is unlikely to get off the ground. He will feel like something is missing. He would like her style in a way, but she wouldn’t seem to fit exactly what he was looking for in terms of getting involved. He couldn’t picture actually being in a relationship with her on a daily basis. Here’s an example of the way sign matches frequently occur in the partner’s chart concerning our 5th, 7th and 8th houses…. If we have a Libra Dsc ruled by Venus in Virgo, with Pluto in the 7th house, we are very likely to marry a person with Sun, Moon, Asc, or a stellium of personal planets, in Libra, Virgo, or Scorpio. In fact we are likely to marry someone with maybe a combination of these factors in their chart. Perhaps a Virgo with Asc and Mercury in Libra, and Moon Scorpio. Attraction to the Scorpio Moon would be enhanced by the fact that a person with a Libra Dsc mostly likely has a Scorpio 8th house. Leo is mostly likely on the 5th house, and so perhaps the above mentioned partner also has Venus in Leo matching the 5th house. Venus would also rule the Asc and Mercury, making Venus more significant in it’s influence. Our partner's charts often reflect a combination of factors shown by our relationship houses. My conclusion is that our type is shown by both the relationship houses and the gender planets. I think it’s best if the partner is able to fulfill both types of attraction for us. This is not as hard as it sounds, because there are many different ways we can connect to someone’s relationship houses and gender planets. Especially if we take aspects to house-rulers, secondary houses, and the secondary houses of Venus or Mars, into consideration. quote: Originally posted by starrynight: Though I've seen one case in which synastry really worked. Wow. This is an interesting story. But I bet there is waaaay more then Venus and Mars sign matching going on here. Although that certainly would have added to the pull. I’d love to see what was going on with this couples' 5th, 7th, and 8th houses synastry.

I think they had DW Venus trine Mars or smth like that too. Okay, no guesses, I'll just dig up the chart. Also on the type thing: I'm curious if anyone knows of a case where someone has left an ex who was a more fitting type for another person who is a less fitting type. And how one would explain that, of course. Or if someone knows 2 ppl one of which fits awesomely and yet still choose the "worse" partner. I hope you are right though. Because this guy I'm just starting a relationship with? I fit his Venus nicely with my stellium. Yet his Moon is in Aries, and I've got no Aries placements besides one angle (his Moon is on my MC) with empty 10H. I asked for his TOB but he doesn't know exactly when, I'm planting a thought about him asking his Mom. I Need his houses instead of all this guesswork. IP: Logged |

So that's what's going on. Yeah, knowing his houses, and house rulers, would be helpful. If he has an Aries Moon you might also look at how the Moon is aspected, and what house it's in (when you find out), for possible matches to your chart. Also, what sign is his Mars? That may influence his taste as well because it rules his Moon. About the MC, it's an important part of our chart in that it shows our general reputation/status from a distance. So he may like something about the way you are 'recognized' by others, in terms of your general reputation, if his Moon is conjunct your MC. IP: Logged |

Of course! Personal reasons. xD Moon trine Mercury in Sag Moon trine Jupiter in Leo Moon square Venus Mars in SagI have my own Mars in Sag conj his Mercury so it trines his Moon too. And his Jupiter conj my Leo Asc so my Asc trine his Moon. My Mars trine his Jupiter, too. Or you could say that my MC trine his Mercury and his Jupiter. In short, it's like his grand fire trine Leo Jupiter - Aries Moon - Sag Merc overlays my grand trine Leo Asc - Aries MC - Sag Mars. But that's all. Oh and my Libra 3H Saturn opp his Moon which is supposed to be super difficult. Ugh. LeeLoo2014 likes that aspect though. IP: Logged |

I've checked more couples in the database, I won't list them anymore, but I concur one more time, Lotis: while the gender planets symbolism matches on a more indirect level (corresponding house etc.), the love rulers/houses stand out as being a direct match: they are aspected. When it comes to gender planets, Yin/Yang pairs going both ways seem to play an important role.Making a synthesis of my synastry: When it comes to gender planets, I have Sun in Virgo 8th, opp Jupiter Mars in Libra (Aries point) 8th conjunct Pluto(7th house in Cancer, Saturn on DSC, 3 signs in the 7th and Moon and Venus there). Moon in Leo 7th (sextile Mercury trine Neptune) Venus in Virgo on 8th cusp (7th/8th) opp Jupiter square Neptune ASC in Cap, Aqua intercepted He has Moon in Scorpio 2nd trine Sun in Pisces 6th Venus in Aqua 5th, in a Kite with Mars Pluto and Neptune (11th house in Leo) Mars in Gem 9th, Scorpio 3rd house ASC in Virgo He matches my Sun/Mars symbolism with: his Moon (8th, Scorpio, plus my Mars/Pluto) his Sun (Jupiter, 6th house) his ASc (Virgo) my Moon symbolism: his Venus (5th) his 11th house (Leo) matches my Moon aspects also my Venus his ASC and Sun his Moon his Mars opp Neptune I'm a match for his Moon/Venus symbolism with:

Hi LeeLoo,So if he has Virgo on the 12th house cusp, and a Pisces Dsc, that means his secondary 7th house fits your Sun. Nice. Would you mind posting his chart and your chart? Now I'm starting to get curious about your synastry. I dislike synastry wheels though because you can't see the degrees. Natal chart + Natal chart is better. Oh yeah, and there is a certain trend I've noticed with aspects in the partner's chart relating to our love houses. Your partner having Sun trine Moon fits into this nicely. How it works is that If a person has Cancer on the Dsc ruled my Leo Moon... They are attracted not just to Cancers and Leos but also to people who have Sun/Moon aspects... Because these people have strong themes of the Sun/Moon energy combination running through their personality. Occasionally, I see this phenomenon when comparing charts in love relationships. I've noticed a similar thing with my chart involving my 5th house. I've got Aries on the 5th house cusp ruled by Mars in Leo... And I have noticed that guys with a Sun/Mars aspect do catch my attention. Especially if they have a soft Sun/Mars aspect (After all, Aries and Leo are signs that TRINE). My guess is this kind of thing works for synastry as well. Considering this, Mars/Sun trines and sextiles in synastry should have a 5th house vibe to me because these aspects would provide energy to the relationship similar in theme to my 5th house. I've got a Gemini Dsc ruled by Mercury in Sagittarius. So theoretically, I should be attracted to natal Mercury/Jupiter folks in a 7th house way. And maybe Jupiter/Moon people would attract me as well, because Jupiter in early Cancer sits in my 7th house. On the otherhand, I could be attacted to Jupiter/Mercury synastry, or Jupiter/Moon synastry. Funny little side story about this. I watch the show 'New Girl' and for some reason I always liked the character Schmidt. I liked the way the actor portrays him as totally ridiculous. Sort of mentally hyperactive and overly enthusiastic. It's not a crush exactly, but I like his energy. He stands out to me. When I looked up the actor's chart he had Mercury/Jupiter conjunction! It totally made sense to me. Even though the conjunction is in Virgo (A sign not directly connected to my 5th, 7th, or 8th houses), I picked up on that Jupiter/Mercury vibe about him. That's what I liked about how Schmidt is portrayed. Aspects like this are something to keep in mind. IP: Logged |

I can confirm that:ruler of my 5th house (Taurus) is Venus in Capricorn. I really am drawn to Cappy-Venus or Venus-Saturn in men. Mr Sag fits this with his Cappy-Venus trine Saturn (Taurus and Cap are trine, so I seem to prefer this, however sometimes it works differently, too. For example Jude Law has a Venus-Saturn-opposition with Saturn in 7th, so he does fit the pattern as well, though the opposition is a bit heavy - of cousre he is just a celebrity ) my 7th ouse (Gemini) ruler is Mercury in Sagittarius. Mercury-Jupiter, definitely. I cannot even count how often when I am drawn to a man he turns out having Sagittarius-Mercury! It is true for Mr Sag as well as Mr Law. Well, mr Sag also has Mercury in mutual reception AND square with Jupiter - I suppose i like the dynamic aspect in this regard, because Gemini and Sagittarius are in a dynamic sign relationship as well. my 8th house ruler Moon is in Aquarius. So that would speak for Moon-Uranus. Yes I like it. In the case of Mr Law it is VERY noteable, as he has the conjunction. With Mr Sag not on first glance. No Moon-Uranus-aspect. though Moon is parallel uranus (just like in my chart).
Well his Venus sextiles Uranus and his ASC trines Uranus, and he has Uranus in 8th house, which might actually resonate subtly with my 8th house ruler in Aquarius. Not as strong though as the 5th and 7th house symbolism. Let`s see how it would look from his and Mr Law`s perspective (I always like to juggle more than one synastry at a time. ) So Mr Law has Taurus on 5th house cusp, with Venus in SAgittarius - which would make for a Venus-Jupiter-aspect, even though possibly a subtle one (taurus-Sag are quinkunx). I have a weak Venus-Jupiter-sextile (and Jupiter-everything else ). he has Gemini on 7th house cusp with Mercury in Sag - so like me Mercury-Jupiter. I have MErcury in Sag he has Cancer on 8th house cusp, with Moon in Libra - dynamic Moon-Venus-aspect is needed, which I can`t provide (they are novile in my chart). Leo intercepted, with Sun in Capricorn - subtle Sun-Saturn, which I do not have, though I have Moon quinkunx Saturn and Sun in 9th harmonic relation to Saturn.
Nevertheless actually I would fit that 5th-7th relation of his. More importantly Mr Sag
5th house in Cancer, with Moon in Sagittarius calls for Moon-Jupiter. No sorry can´t deliver that one, though of course I can deliver the complementary Sun in sagitarius (Sun-Jupiter).
7th house in Virgo, with Mercury in Sag - Mercury-Jupiter Me: Mercury in Sagittarius
Libra intercepted in 7th, with Venus in Capricorn - so Venus-Saturn Me: Venus in Capricorn Scorpio at the cusp of 8th house with Pluto in Libra calling for a Venus-Pluto. Well we both have a Venus-Pluto-square natally, and my Pluto sits on my Libra-MC, being disposed by my Cappy-Venus.
