It is very easy to see how Jude`s and my gender profiles reflect each other:° my Sun in Sagittarius, Mars in Sagittarius square Jupiter - his ASC in Sagittarius - his Venus in Sagittarius ° my Sun and Venus in 1st house - his Sun and Venus in 1st house
° my Sun conjunct Mercury - his Venus conj. Mercury in 1st house ° my Mars in 12th conjunct Neptune - his ASC conjunct Neptune - his Mars in 12th conjunct Neptune ° my Moon in Aquarius - his Moon conjunct Uranus ° my Moon in 2nd house- well this one is not reflected that well, unless we count the 1st house Venus ° my Moon quinkunx Saturn, Venus in Capricorn - his Sun in Capricorn - his Venus opposite Saturn ° my Venus square Pluto, my Mars sextile Pluto - his Sun squrae Pluto and Mars in Scorpio ---------------------------------------- ° his Sun in Capricorn, Moon in 10th, Venus opposite Saturn - my Venus in Capricorn and Moon quinkunx Saturn, Saturn handle of my bucket formation ° his Sun and Venus in 1st house - my Sun and Venus in 1st house, ASC conj. Mars
° his Sun square Pluto, Mars in Scorpio - my Venus square Pluto, Mars sextile Pluto, ASC sextile Pluto, MC conjunct Pluto ° his Mars in 12th house conjunct Neptune, his Venus conjunct Neptune - my Mars in 12th house conjunct Neptune; ASC conjunct Neptune, chartruler in Pisces square Neptune ° his Moon in Libra and Venus in 1st house - my Venus in 1st house, Libra-MC ° his Moon conjunct Uranus - my Moon in Aquarius; Uranus peregrine ° his Venus in Sagittarius my Sun, Mars, ASC in Sagittarius, Mars and ASC square Jupiter (in fact it might be tad too much Jupiter for his taste ) ° his Veus conjunct Mercury - my Sun conjunct Mercury in 1st house synastric aspects between gender planets ----------------------------------------- his Moon sextile my Sun 1.59 his Sun conjunct my Venus 1.30 his Mars very widely conjunct my Venus 7.53 his Mars widely conjunct my Mars 6.08 (which puts my Mars on his Venus/Mars-mp)

With my new beau we do not have anything much in common to signify that I am his type, but my BML lilith is on his descendant 0 deg orb, opposition to his venus and trine to his mars. Perhaps BML can serve as some twisted substitute to venus ? Because he is the one who likes me very much. Also my venus is in his 8th house. IP: Logged |

Can you post both natals? BML can make for very intense, compulsive attractions (though not really saying someone is someone else`s type - she is too edgy for that).
I do suspect that the exact opposition between BML`s in the synastry with Mr Sag is at least to a part "responsible" for the strong pull.

As for the gender profile comparison between mr sag and me:° my Sun in Sag, Mars in Sag square Jupiter - his Sun, Moon, MC in Sag; Sun in 9th house; chartruler in Sag in 9th house; Mars, intercepted 1st house ruler, conjunct Jupiter - he is one of the few men who really can keep up with the Jupiter emphasis in my chart, and even go byeond that ° my Sun and Venus in 1st house - Aries intercepted in his 1st house ° my Sun conj. Mercury - his Mars in Vigo square Mercury
° my Mars in 12th conj. Neptune - his ASC in Pisces, Neptune conjunct Sun ° my Moon in Aquarius - ASC trine Uranus; Venus sextile URanus ° my Moon in 2nd house - not really that well reflected; maybe through ASC sextile Venus exact, and his Venus is in Capricorn (earth) and 11th house (which fits my Aqua-Moon) ° my Venus in Capricorn and Moon quinkunx Saturn - his Saturn square Sun, Moon, MC; his Saturn trine Venus; Moon in 10th house ° my Venus square Pluto and Mars sextile Pluto - his Venus square Pluto He has surprisingly little Pluto, at least considering that usually I need that to feel attracted. ------------------------------
° his MOon in Sagittarius, his Sun in SAgittarius in 9th; his Mars conjunct Jupiter - my Sun, Mars, ASC in Sagittarius; Jupiter square Mars and ASC ° his MOon in 10th house; his Venus in Cap trine Saturn; Saturn square Sun and Moon - my Venus in Cap; my Moon quinkunx Saturn; Saturn handle of my bucket ° his Venus square Pluto - my Venus square Pluto, Mars sextile Pluto; ASC sextile Pluto, MC conjunct Pluto ° his Venus in 11th house sextile Uranus - my Moon in Aquarius; Uranus peregrine ° his Mars in Virgo in 6th square Mercury - my Mercury in 1st conjunct Sun ° his Sun (and Moon) conj. Neptune - my Mars and ASC conjunct Neptune; chartruler in Pisces square Neptune synastric aspects ------------------- his Sun conjunct my Sun 1.02 his Moon conjunct my Sun 2.42 his MOon widely conjunct my Venus 7.29 his Mars trine my Venus 4.58 his Mars widely square my Mars 5.56 IP: Logged |

As for the love houses profile, I am using a little weighing system, to get an overview what really stands out. Of course points could be distributed differently, just my preference for now, and just to get an overview. Example: 5th house: sign or ruler at the cusp 3 points sign and house of the ruler 3 points conjunction to ruler 3 points square, opposition to ruler 2 points other aspects 1 point planets in that house 3 points
secondary house: sign or ruler at the cusp 2 points sign and house of the ruler 2 points conjunctions 2 points square, opposition 1 point planets in that house 2 points
(leaving out the intercepted ones at least in terms of secondary houses and also using the new rulers; with my seconary 7th house having Aquarius at the cusp and Pisces intercepted, that would give me 4 rulers to check additionally otherwise, Uranus/Saturn, Neptune/Jupiter - it might be a bit of an overkill :laughing Example for my 5th house:
Taurus at the cusp: Venus 3 points Venus in Capricorn: Saturn 3 points Venus in 1st: Mars 3 points Venus square pluto: Pluto 2 points sec 5th in Capricorn: Saturn 2 points Saturn in Cancer: Moon 2 points Saturn in 8th: Pluto 2 points Moon in sec 5th house: Moon 2 points Since Moon is in Aquarius I would give an additional point for Uranus, as the sign differs from the sign at the cusp, so Uranus: 1 points which would give a score for my 5th house: Saturn 5 points (strong) Pluto 4 points Moon 4 points Venus (tau) 3 points Mars: 3 points Uranus 1 point (weak) Quite easy to see how the flavour of my 5th house is dominated by Saturn-Pluto-Moon Just a rough guiding line, but it surely explains my taste for vampire series. (and my taste for Saturnian men as well )
EDIT: I am not really sure if the houseplacement (1st house here) really deserves the same points as the sign or planets conjuncting, but as a rough guideline it probably suffices. IP: Logged |

my 7th house ---------------DESC Gemini: Mercury 3 points ruler in Sag: Jupiter 3 points ruler in 1st: Mars 3 points ruler conj. Sun: Sun 3 points sec 7th in Aquarius Uranus 2 points ruler in Scorpio Pluto 2 points ruler in 11th uranus 2 points int sec 7th in Pisces Neptune 1 point ruler in Sag: 1 point ruler in 1st: 1 points ruler conj. Mars 1 point Jupiter in sec 7th:jupiter 2 points Jupiter 6 points (strong) Uranus 4 points
Mercury 3 points Mars 5 points (strong) Sun 3 points Pluto 2 points (weak) Neptune 1 point (weak) my 8th house: cusp in Cancer: Moon 3 points ruler in Aqua Uranus 3 points ruler in 2nd: Venus 3 points (Taurus) quinkunx Saturn: Saturn 1 point Saturn in 8th house: Saturn 3 points sec 8th in Aries: Mars 2 points ruler in Sag square Jupiter 3 points ruler in 12th conj. Neptune: 4 points
Saturn 4 points Neptune 4 points Moon 3 points Uranus 3 points Jupiter 3 points Venus 3 points Mars 2 points (weak)
The Neptune is interesting, resulting from the secondary 8th house ruler being in 12th and conjunct Neptune.

Hi I sldo need some pluto normally to like a guy and a strong mars. Here we have weak mars but some pluto in him. I like him more rationally but he likes me very much, not sure why as I seem not to be his type at all astrologically...I am on the inside. IP: Logged |

The summary of all love houses would be: Saturn 9 points (NO 7th house) Mars 10 points (ALL love houses) Uranus 8 points (ALL love houses) Jupiter 9 points (NO 5th house) Moon 7 points (NO 7th house)
Venus(Tau) 6 points (NO 7th house) Pluto 6 points (NO 8th house) Neptune 5 points (NO 5th house) Mercury 3 points (ONLY 7th house) Sun 3 points (ONLY 7th house) What this shows is that I definitely need something very different in 7th house relationship-matters and committed partnership (Sun, Mercury, Jupiter in particular), but that this is not what "turns me on" the most (that would be more Saturn, Moon, Taurus-Venus - something darker, more intense; it is a very interesting split between the intellectual light of the 7th house to the emotional dark of the 5th and 8th).
What is a red thread through all the houses is Mars and Uranus, event hough Uranus is not the most obvious what immediatly attracts me (only one point int erms of 5th house), but it might be what is needed to SUSTAIN attraction and intimacy in a sexual-romantic partnership (4 pts for 7th house, 3 for 8th house). Mars, well, it is because of the houseplacement, so I am a little uncertain about it. But the ruler of 5th AND 7th house are being found in 1st house. the ruler of secondary 8th house actually IS Mars, and it is conj. ASC. All in all it is relatively even spread through the houses (3 pts for 5th and 7th each, 2 pts in terms of 8th house). Probably Mars-aspects, Aries, 1st house is one of the most reliable indicators for a possibly most satisfying relational attraction and compatibility for me. At least that is how I would interprete it. There are of course "spikes" here, too. 5 and 4 points for a single house seem quite emphasized (considering that 3 points is the highest amount of point for a single placement). It is not excessive, but definitely these planets stand out, which would be
Saturn (5th and 8th house) Moon (5th house) Pluto (5th house Jupiter (7th house) Uranus (7th house) Neptune (8th house) As you can easily see, Saturn must be a REAL turn on for me, having relatively high scores in both sexual houses. (of course the reason for that is that the ruler of the 5th house is in Capricorn; secondary house cusp is in Capricorn; ruler of 8th house quinkunx saturn and Saturn itself IN 8th house). EDIT: I reconsidered and also checked the intercepted configurations (but gave a point less - I did not count the traditional rulers though)

Hey Ceridwen below follow the charts. But beware because I have a lot of Saturn :P Jst kidding I also like Saturn, and Pluto. But this boyfriend is not too much like my type... The thing I know about him is that he is very idealistic about love and also that he also likes curvier women. Also he is younger than me, maybe that is why he likes me, regardless of the astro type mismatch ...

I don`t see a mismatch. His perspective ---------------- DESC in Scorpio with Pluto in Scorpio in 7th house - so we know he DESPERATELY needs Scorpio/Pluto/8th house You: Mars in 8th house square Pluto his DESC-ruler also opposes Venus You: Sun in 7th house
his 5th house is Leo with Sun in Gemini in 1st You: Moon trine Mars in 5th house; ASC-Gemini;
his 8th house in Sagittarius with Jupiter in Aries in 12th; Saturn in 8th
you: Venus in Sagittarius; Mars trine Moon; Neptune squrae Moon; Sun and ASC ruler and Mars in Capricorn You fit his astrological type pretty perfectly!
Your perspective:
7th house: Sagittarius, with Jupiter in Libra in 5th house conj. Saturn, square Sun, Mercury, and of course Neptune so closely on the DESC
To encompass all that, someone would need to be VERY multilayered. Anyway Sagittarius: not really covered Libra: Venus in 1st house, though this might be due to a "misunderstanding". His Venus is more earthy/ TAurus than your Libra really seeks. 5th house; 7th ruler square Sun: Sun in 1st, Leo in 5th house, ruler of 5th in 1st Saturn: MC in Capricorn Mercury: Sun in Gemini Neptune: Moon in Pisces in 12th 5th house: Virgo/Libra, ruler of 5th in CAp in 7th conjunct Sun; ruler of 5th in Sag in 6th; Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, Pluto in 5th
Virgo: nope Libra: see above, yes.... but ruler of 5th in Cap, Saturn in 5th: MC in Cap (could be that this is too little Saturn though, like your needs are only half covered) ruler of 5th conj. Sun: Sun in 1st, ruler of 5th in 1st ruler of 5th in Sag; Jupiter in 5th: not really Moon in 5th: Moon square Mars Pluto in 5th: ruler of ASC opposite pluto So Pluto is there. 8th house: Capricorn with Saturn in Libra in 5th conj. Jupiter, squrae Sun and Mercury; Mars in 8th
Capricorn: MC in Capricorn ruler in Libra: see above ruler in 5th house: Sun in 1st ruler of 8th coj Jupiter: not covered ruler of 8th squrae Mercury: ASC Gemini Mars in 8th: too little Mars, though the Moon-Mars-square might make up for it. I`d say he is somewhat your type astrologically, but there are some areas that are not covered as perfectly as the other way round. You are more his type than he is yours.
It is not the pluto he is lacking though, but the strong Jupiter-Mars or Sagittarius-Aries vibe; it also seems like he fits your ideal partnerimage in terms of the 7th house best (longterm partnership, companionship), but just speaking of astrological types, the 8th house and to some degree 5th house might not be as strong (so the sexual chemistry might not be as intense as from his side, though still present; all in all it is a good weigh-up)

You both have Venus/Pluto square in the natal chart. So both of you are looking for similar patterns in love --obsession, intensity ?Do the venus and pluto of each other aspect each other? I really think that appart from the house sign and so on analysis, the aspect patterns should be considered -- if both people have the same ability for intensity for example. For example the first man, he has mars in scorpio and sun sq pluto, but his venus is not aspected by pluto neither it is in scorpio, so this might give him different needs in love. While the second guy, he does not have so much pluto, but has the exact same pattern of venus, so perhaps has more similar needs in love.

I agree with you, Viiv, irrespective of Venus function as gender planet in terms of attraction, I find her very important in terms of relationship-needs in general (independent of gender and attraction-pattern). While the Venus of the first gentleman and me would make for considerable attraction-potential -(My Venus in Cappy square Pluto being drawn to his Sun in Cappy square Pluto and Scorpio Mars - his Venus in Sag conjunct Mercury and Neptune finding resonance in my Neptune on my ASC in Sagittarius and my Sun in SAg conjunct Mercury)- in terms of relationship-needs there might be some bumps in the road, expressed in the conflict between Jupiter (him) and Saturn (me). While I am Jupiter through and through in my overall personality, this is not true in terms of relationships. No Jupiter there (or almost no. Some astrologers would count the wide sextile of my Venus to Jupiter). In the second case our Venus positions are reflecting each other almost to a creepy degree; almost looks like the same Venus, just his a few degrees apart from mine. lol
Both a Capricorn Venus squaring Pluto; his Venus in 11th and sextile Uranus - well we could actually count my Venus sextile URanus, but it is widish (just under 5 degrees and I usually cut the orb at 4 degrees for the sextile). The Saturn-Pluto theme is even more pronounced for him, as he has Venus trine Saturn and Saturn is exactly conjunct DESC. He also has pluto in 7th house. Of course for the two of us Venus is most certainly an indicator for relationships, not just because it is Venus, but because for me she rules the 5th house, and for him she rules his intercepted 7th house (along with 2nd house) - so she serves a double relationship-function.
The funny thing is how alike we are, even in the split through our personaity.
The Saturn-Pluto-pattern in terms of our Venus-position, sort of conflicting with our very strongly emphasized Jupiter/SAgittarius-theme. Even stronger in his chart than in mine, as well as the split/ dilemma is more pronounced in his chart, you can see it alone by his New Moon in sagittarius, but sharply squared by Saturn on the DESC. Ouch. For me it is more vague, wishy-washy, elusive, this split, due to my Saturn-Moon-aspect being a quinkunx rather than a square or opposition. But actually the quinkunx can at times be even more uncomfortable and awkward, cause it brings this nagging feeling of insecurity and like one has to "work on something" without really knowing how or what. Oftentimes leading to ignoring it, until it blows in your face, behaving like the nastiest square, hitting you sideways. lol With both of us having Venus-Pluto-natally, it is actualy surprising we do not share this aspect synastrically. No major Venus-Pluto-aspect (of course there are always some minor ones). But of course since we have it both natally, it comes up in the composite again, as a one degree square of Pluto at 15 Libra squaring Venus (and Proserpina. lol) at 16 Capricorn. It will be quite interesting to see what the Transiting Uranus especially is doing to that! (it is at 15 ARies, I think). Especially with the ecclipses in october and next spring hitting 15/ 14 Libra and Aries as well.
