Quick note on ADMETOS, as I've been delving back into the Uranians as of late. It represents the karma as it's operating in the present. ADMETOS is where, akin to an RPG, we cannot yet go because certain blocks or levels or quests haven't been cleared or completed. If we want to know what's happening NOW in a karmic sense, look to ADMETOS. (Best way to look at him and the other Uranians, by the way, is via Weber style on Astro.com; the Midpoint pictures and all 8 Uranians are displayed in the wheel.) IP: Logged |

CUPIDO is also tremendously useful in synastry as it represents Soulmates and shared karma. These are the souls with whom we have travelled through time and amassed much karma -- be it good and rewarding, or outstanding and to be resolved. In which case, look to HADES (for then) and ADMETOS (for now). For example, my nSUN is 2°30 conjunct my Guardian's CUPIDO, with my CUPIDO trine his nSUN, also 2°. I natally have CUPIDO=SUN/MOON, 1° showing the importance that Soulmate karma has in regards to my lifetime and present destiny. IP: Logged |

Wow, this thread... I'm getting the astro shakes. This has so much potential for amazing research and I love love the theory about the DWs. I could even see this having the potential for being coded for an actual numerical result. Lots of work, but it *could* be done.I did a SUN only check so far, this is what I found. I allowed for large orbs and took minor aspects, so it's all stretched preeeetty far. I put it in a roughly estimated order of importance. Important: -Sun/Pluto: 90Pluto(0), 180Pluto(0) -Sun/Neptune: 150Neptune(0), 120Neptune(1) -Sun/BML: 0BML(4), 0BML(4) -Sun/Pallas: 180Pallas(2), 0Pallas(4) Medium: -Sun/Uranus: 45Uranus(0), 135Uranus(0) -Sun/Moon: 45Moon(3), 144Moon(3) -Sun/Juno: 120Juno(3), 144Juno(1) -Sun/Psyche: 30Psyche(3), 0Psyche(4) -Sun/Anteros: 0Anteros(2), 90Anteros(5) -Sun/Ceres: 150Ceres(3), 45Ceres(1) -Sun/Werdandi: 30Verdandi(1), 120Werdandi(1) -Sun/Boda: 30Boda(1), 180Boda(1) -Sun/Cupido: 60Cupido(4), 90Cupido(3) -Sun/Klotho: 30Klotho(2), 60Klotho(0) Eh, sort of: -Sun/Amor: 0Amor(9), 60Amor(3) -Sun/Fides: 30Fides(1), 45Fides(0) -Sun/Kama: 45Kama(0), 120Kama(2) While doing this I also noticed: Sun120Briede(3), Sun120Groom(1). Hilarious.

WOw, it's such an impressive list it hurts my eyes. I noticed when you check 'show aspects lines to all' on the drop down menu, if you have minor aspects other than quincunx, 4th harmonics, quintile/biquintile, they will show a " ' " in the pdf table instead of the aspect symbol. So if you see ' in your pdf table, check the degree, I'm sure there's a minor aspect in there. ------------------ what goes up must come down, so when you're feeling down, the only way to be is up IP: Logged |

This might take me the rest of my life to do. I'll start with:Sun/Mercury* Sun/Saturn Sun/Neptune Sun/Chiron Sun/Juno* Moon/Uranus Moon/Pluto Mercury/Venus Mercury/Jupiter Mercury/Saturn Mercury/Uranus Mercury/Chiron Venus/Mars Venus/Saturn Venus/Uranus Venus/Chiron* Venus/Juno Mars/Jupiter Mars/Saturn Mars/Chiron Mars/Juno* Mars/ASC Saturn/Uranus Saturn/Pluto Saturn/Vesta* Saturn/ASC Ceres/Uranus Ceres/Pallas Ceres/ASC* Neptune/Pallas The * indicates there is at least one 0 degree major aspect in the DW. There are several other pairs with at least one 0 degree aspect, but they are for minor aspects like quincunx, quintile, etc. I'd love to look at more of the asteroids, but I don't have the time right now. This is for a current romantic/sexual relationship; we met 20+ years ago but didn't get together until about 15 months ago. Not living together and currently having a bit of rocky time, so not sure how long it will last as a romantic relationship, although I'm reasonably certain we will maintain a friendship. Probably as "friends with benefits." IP: Logged |

Yes, DWs only, and using the orbs LeeLoo suggested (which I personally think may be a bit too wide in some instances, but...) I didn't include our 1 degree Vesta-Vesta conjunction, which I probably should have? Or 2 degree Venus-Venus quincunx; I think we've probably got more like that. IP: Logged |

That's tough to say, Lavender. But you're dealing with Twins, so there's an established sacred geometry. Is it also parallel? I tend to expand to -- well, 10° -- in those cases. Is it closer to 10° or 12°? IP: Logged |

I jumped at the mythical pairs, but of course, what we do first is to check the planetary DWs, they are the ones pointing out the theme of the relationship. The asteroid aspects and the Mythical Pairs only add to what the planets show us. I will not list my planetary/angle DWs, they are a lot and let's say all 4 Dimensions are covered, but I will probably do an analysis for each dimension. A few personal considerations on planetary DWs... As I was saying, every aspect has its own energy, but rulership will show us where that energy plays out, which could transform a traditionally not-necessarily-romantic aspect into a major romantic/marital aspect. Let's look at the synastry of Eva/Juan Peron: I see a DW of Mercury opp Sun/Mars, with her Mercury being the 5th ruler (his Mars is his 5th ruler) for one opposition, and his Mercury being his 7th ruler and her Sun being her IC ruler. This makes the energy of a versatile Sun/Mercury DW (with Mars in combination) which could mean many things, not necessarily romantic/marital in nature, into a major romantic/marital aspect in their synastry. An opposition by definition is a major relational aspect (well, some don't believe that but they're wrong )...even the oppositions in our natal are reflected in our relationships, one can say two planets in oppositions in the natal it's like having those two planets in the 7th house: the opposition show how we approach other people, how relational we are and how we generally interact in relationships (by projection). So every planetary DWs has its energy and rulership will show us in what dimension of the relationship the aspect plays out. But planetary DWs do have their specific energy, some are generally relational (marital + romantic + erotic combined) - just like the asteroid pairs, as Ceri pointed out - some are more specific in their marital or fated or erotic significance.
Sun/Moon DW and Venus/Mars DW are generally Yin/Yang and they include the first three categories, although Sun/Moon inclines towards being an overall marital aspect, and Venus/Mars towards being a romantic/erotic aspect. Both of them of course, are wonderful aspects to have for any romantic relationship. Mercury/Venus DW could be a very romantic aspect: it makes the communication between the two potentially very lovey/dovey and mutual understanding and desire to sweet talk the other are very strong. Mercury/Neptune is another vibration of this aspect, with the added "illusionist" quality of Neptune which could bring things to the point of poetry, not wanting/liking to have casual talk (just poetry lol) mutually, sometimes leading up to lying, in its negative form; if not lying, the reluctance to present oneself in a prosaic light to the other, which is specific for any Neptune aspect, because Neptune pushes us to want the glamorous and the magic in the area it touches, so if there isn't any glamour or magic, we are tempted to make it up lol Mercury/Mars DW gives energetic communication between the two, with banter and humor, and lots of action and movement, perhaps some good dancing. Body language and mannerisms would be mutually appreciated and in sync. It's not a romantic aspect per se, but it could become depending on rulership/house overlays and the anatomy of the synastry. The other Mercury aspects need the same touch of rulership/overall synastry to become aspects for our categories. Jupiter Jupiter is not a traditionally romantic planet, but it will expand whatever it touches and the aspects with Jupiter need to be analyzed on a case-by-case basis, as described with Mercury. Jupiter means many things (friends, boss-employee, mentor/teacher/student, protector/protected etc.) It will bring a touch of happiness, enthusiasm, good humour/good feelings, friendliness, excess to anything it touches, therefore Jupiter DWs will be very versatile, and their meaning depends on rulership and the rest of the synastry. For example, Jupiter/Venus will enhance the romantic feelings between the two with a happy, tolerant vibe. Jupiter/Mars DW could considerably enhance erotic attraction/activity between the two. Jupiter is also a marital planet, and all marital relationship will have some good Jupiter in the right places. Saturn is of course, a major marital and fate planet. When it doesn't act as a wall and as denial (one of Saturn's role), Saturn is THE long-term planet. Sun/Saturn, Moon/Saturn, Venus/Saturn and Mars/Saturn DWs are, without a doubt, classical marital aspects, with Moon/Saturn being a mythical marital pair. Everything Saturn touches could also have a meaning related to fate and karma. Pluto is the one bringing depth to everything it touches, compulsion and obsession and the need to posses and everything as an uncontrollable impulse, a drive. Pluto is a vertical planet, anything it does is in depth, drilling to reach the core. All these make Pluto a very romantic and erotic planet. Pluto also aspires to eternity, the final, ultimate...everything. It likes long-term. However Pluto probably because of its mostly subconscious drive, its volcanic nature requiring great maturity and control, often rules unrequited and failed relationships, leading them into the vicious circle of power plays which makes them never get off the ground properly or turning into a battlefield. In my experience, relationships heavy on Pluto need a touch of Saturn (not to Pluto though lol) in order to bring the volcanic passion into the light and turn it into a well of energy for a well-oiled mechanism, Otherwise, Plutonian relationships with no trace of Saturn are many times not consummated or they fizzle out, because neither of the participants can give up the powerplay. This is perhaps because Saturn is the bringer of common sense and structure, of realism and the use of resources for a tangible construction and a relationship is like a building. Out of all the Pluto aspects (all romantic and erotic) there's only one IMO which has a potentially strong marital significance, because of its overall deep connection and commitment: the Moon/Pluto DW. The rest are essentially romantic/erotic aspects. Apart form that, of course, Pluto is a major fate planet. EDIT: I forgot a major aspect lol Moon/Mars DW is a potentially strong marital aspect IMO, if the energies are focused on "making" and not fighting (the baby-making aspect - I think Moon/Pluto on its positive side is also a baby-making aspect, so is Moon/Saturn) and of course, a major erotic aspect. Uranus is as versatile as Jupiter, its significance in the synastry generally depending on the degree Uranus is integrated in the natal, what it means there, by rulership. The excitement Uranus brings makes it an exhilarating romantic/erotic planet, when it doesn't fulfill its separative role: sometimes Uranus comes into our life to bring a change, a turning point, the explosion of structures and it only passes by.
Neptune is by all means the lord of romance. Neptunian aspects in natal and synastry need to overcome three challenges: 1. those people should take some time and know each other rather well before forming opinions on each other or jumping into the relationship, to let the Neptunian fog dissipate 2. they must avoid at all costs deception or dishonesty, which usually comes not as deliberate lying, but because of the need to maintain Neptune's glamour at all costs 3. Neptune forces us to live at least part of our lives out of anything prosaic and mundane, so two people sharing Neptune aspects need to always include in their interaction the magical, the extraordinary, the poetic, the fairy tale, the romance. Neptune between two people will not let them go to bed and snore by each other's side three days in a row lol Once these challenges are overcome Neptune is the planet of the Romantics. Sun/Neptune DW - mutual idealization Moon/Neptune - a psychic aspect, could become very romantic Venus/Neptune - a true romantic's dream, the ultimate romanticism in love, even after long years, if Neptune's challenges are overcome, there will always be a honeymoon vibe between the two Mars/Neptune - highly erotic aspect, with erotic fantasies put in practice, perpetual chase and remaining sexual alluring for each other; I will write what I think about angles nodes and vertices DWs in another post. I'd mention that any aspect could become romantic or erotic based on rulership. So the list would be approximately like this - classical aspects 1. Marital Dimension Sun/Moon Dw Sun/Saturn DW Moon/Saturn DW Venus/Saturn DW Mars/Saturn DW Venus/Mars DW Moon/Venus DW Moon/Pluto DW Moon/Mars DW 2. Romantic Dimension
Sun/Moon DW Venus/Mars DW Moon/Venus DW Mercury/Venus DW Mercury/Neptune DW Venus/Uranus DW Venus/Neptune DW Venus/Pluto DW Mars/Neptune DW Sun/Pluto Dw Moon/Pluto DW Sun/Neptune DW Moon/Neptune DW 3. Erotic Dimension
Sun/Moon DW Venus/Mars DW Venus/Pluto DW Mercury/Mars DW Mars/Jupiter DW Mars/Saturn DW Mars/Pluto DW Mars/Neptune DW Mars/Uranus DW Moon/Mars DW Moon/Pluto DW Sun/Mars DW Sun/Pluto DW 4. Fate Dimension
anything with Saturn and Pluto nodes, angles and vertices fate asteroids and points EDIT: Neither of these DWs guarantee a certain type of relationship, they have to be more than one or in combination with simple aspects for a relationship profile. ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms...
