You know Tink-a-dink  (Indulge me), I have never wanted to be anything other than the best of who I am because I do believe theres a whole load going on under the surface despite appearances. An outwardly, stronlgy confident ego doesnt mean the person is on the inside. In most cases its contrary.
But I see my friends and life seems so easy for them and I want some of that. They communicate and connect so beautifully with each other. Fair enough some of the things they speak about might be mundane, petty girly issues (wishes and phantoms) But it is fun and they laugh. I have had enough with trying to uncover the deeper side to life cos it doesnt seem to have made my lfie better in anyway. On the contrary, I feel life is passing me by, cos I'm so busy trying to figure it out!I just want to continuosly laugh my as$ off everyday. Thats not too much to ask right? IP: Logged |

Yes, I know she wasn't addressing me. But it is a public forum and I thought I would add my 2 cents.  I would politely disagree with your views on sin. I feel that sin, or perhaps I will say error, may take a myriad of forms. And always were you least expect it. I will also go so far as to say that Righteous Anger is always a possiblity and sometimes a very appropriate and much needed response. But you must forgive me. I harbor old-fashioned notions of Good and Evil. Although I can honestly say that I love the humanity in you and danny and maya and myself I do not operate under the illusion that you or danny or maya or I are perfect and without fault. Am I not claiming that you operate under this illusion - just that I've noticed that this moral relativism stuff becomes more and more popular every day. I am here to work, to cleanse mySelf, to learn, to wash my eyes out that I may better see. I am not here to sit still and savor my unique humanity. IP: Logged |

Diogenes of Sinope. Wow, that name truly packs a punch.Thank you. It is fine already. A problem shared... I just havent figured out a way to share my problems cos I always feel I am too intense. Its a self-consciouness that actually came with knowing a bit about astrology. What with my whole scorpio rising and all. And I dont want to be too intense. I dont mind it in others. But not for me. I want to engulf everyone in a big bubble of love that floats about all day, sprinkling 'happy happy joy joy dust' everywhere. I wanna be a pleasure to everyone but a la Tink, it all starts with me. I do have issues pleasing myself. Its kinda insane isnt it? That something that should be so simple isnt. How hard should it be to make yourself happy, and give to yourself all the wonderful things that you would want to give of yourself?! IP: Logged |

If tink-a-dink makes you happy, then by all means.  Yes, I know what you mean. I really do. Ah! the temptation of the banal conversation. Maybe your friends mesh so well because they are on the same wavelength. Maybe you do not because you are not. That is a hard thing - a lonely thing - but I think a good thing. Of course I'm biased  "I feel life is passing me by beacuse I'm so busy trying to figure it out" Yeah, I've felt that way too sometimes. I think the most common mistake made by those of us trying to figure out Life, is lack of experimentation. We are like scientists full of every imaginable hypothesis, but too afraid to test them in the "real world". I bet if you start experimenting you'll soon find yourself in a place where you spend the day laughing your a$s off. IP: Logged |

Hi maya!Your reply wasnt there when I began writing one of my own. I just saw it now, and it is, as always, a ray of light. This day is off to a very moody beginning for me. Its probably better if I keep my personal interactions to a minimum. I'm about to go out (probably to do some hard drugs), so I wont be able to read your next reply till later. I sent you more emails, if you want something else to respond to (as you havent yet). I didnt know what to say to the story of echo, except to send the impersonal replies I did. Is it the right way, or the wrong way, to commune with you through symbollic means? I feel like if I spell things out, as I am wont to do, it will take the magic out of it. But, if I send you poems and prose pieces, it may be interpreted as distant or something else.
I dont know, as invested as I am, and as much as I'd like to await your next response, I've got to get out of the house right now - I get like that sometimes.
