it's scary to think the goverment knew maybe even wanted it and "gasp" planned it just to have an excuse to start a war...and get rich...vengeance is a powerful feeling how many must be killed to feel avenged, what happens when you learn your worst enemy is supposed to be your best friend...
As for Ben Laden, well his father's company is tied to the Bush family and they gave him 1billion bucks once to fight a war he's ex CIA...yep it's big

As for the plane, maybe you should take a course in reading and comprehension for your litte ghetto mouth gets your a$$ kicked. Most of that plane shattered, the new structure of the Pentagon had just been completed with a stronger reinforced steel / metal that made impacts less dangerous structurally than before. In this case, what didn't explode into little particles was taken and analyzed by the NTSB, FBI and CIA. It is considered EVIDENCE, not that your small brain would comprehend anything as intellectual as law enforcement, rules of evidence or structural engineering.

Any evidence found in an attack is cataloged and locked up for review by qualified professional, not for trying to placate some foreign nationals that couldn't even defend themselves in a war, but instead called on us for help.

I don't care who I offend on this thread, I have had it with the crap spewing from this insipid little gnome who needs a swift kick in his rear and some serious educating.

I don't believe that President Bush is the antichrist... but I strongly believe that he is an imperialist, for me, it doesn't remain any doubt...
The problem is that empires become so big and so strong that the more strong they are, noisier it will be the fall.
He will fall down on himself in a monumental implosion of inefficiency and superb...
It is enough to remind the Ottoman Empire, the Roman empire and more recently the British empire...

This is my opinion, and I have the inalienable right of expressing, since I am not offending anyone...

TEVA, I JUST LOVE YOUR COUNTRY! Last year I spent one month in Paris with my daughter.It was her first time in France and she just loved!!!!!!
In fact I love Europe.
Every time I'm in France, Rome, Florence, Venice, Spain, Portugal, England, I feel myself in the cradle of the culture and of the western civilization...

BTW, if I remember correctly, France never asked for help from USA in the Second World War, who asked for help - without success for two years, and for this reason, struggled alone against the Germans- it was England...we cannot forget Russia that lost 25 million souls in this bloody war.

The United States of America entered in the war in December of 1941- the war started in 1939- and the reason was the Japanese attack to Pearl Harbor...

Anyway, I think that this discussion - who helped who and when - it is totally irrelevant.
If Hitler had dominated Europe, what unfortunately would happen, it was just a matter of time, it would be a disaster to America, therefore, this " help " was good for both sides.

Teva, I forgot about the French Riviera...for me it's Paradise on Earth...

Of course the French didn't ask for American help in WWW II The French surrendered to the 1st "Little Corporal" that came along

Hitler then installed the Vichy government of French collaborators, (French traitors) before America entered the war.

In keeping with the French standing in the world today, economically, militarily and morally, they should look for a "private" to surrender to the next time an enemy comes marching in.

i see what teva is saying (perhaps not to such an extreme) as the worlds view of America has taken a severe plunge. i just read michael moore's book 'stupid white men' and it was really informative. definately no a 'yay america!' book but i think the guy has his facts straight, plus he's american so you cant call him biased.

FACT #1) Tourism industry is down a WHOPPING 80% in France this year - CNN.com

FACT #2) It's this attitude, and it's an "attitude" not a viewpoint... which causes further isolation of France - Dr. Thomas Friedman, NY York Times, Global Affairs

FACT #3) France is in decline, and you're blaming everyone you can for it.

Examples plz? Well here you go...

1) There are SO MANY labor unions striking at one time or another that the transit system of rails thru Europe is unreliable thru France, people go around it, losing more money to France

2) French people are in general lazy... in this cutthroat world where "who works the hardest" survives, France MOVES BLATANTLY BACKWARDS by cutting the work week to 4 days...

3) Most French people believe all Healthcare & Unemployment & just about everything else should be paid for by the gov't, just for being an unemployed citizen, hence they can't support their own mass transit or other state-run institutions (That's outta my Gov'ts of Europe class)

2) You've elected a president with only 20% of the vote, hardly a popular victory, he's taking the country down in flames

3) Your biggest market, agriculture, is failing, it's supporting solely on farm subsidies from the EU. That's why you fight against TRULY SUPERIOR, & BETTER-FOR-HUMANITY, genetically altered foods. They are cheaper, bring higher yields, and for the first time in HUMAN HISTORY we are able to produce enough food to END WORLD HUNGER, but France doesn't want that cause it's bad for their pitiful economy...

4) And LASTLY, you dipsh*ts hired WOODY ALLEN , WHO LIVES IN BRITAIN, NOT THE US, TO ARGUE FOR AMERICAN TOURISTS TO REVISIT FRANCE... You know WHY WOODY ALLEN lives in Britan, because he comitted STATUATORY RAPE, HE SLEPT WITH A 14-yr-old girl... Like 1/5 his age...
