My statement wasn't a personal attack on you. I was bringing into question why teva's statements and obvious contempt for the US didn't stir any ire in you, but LL's blast back at him offended you to no end. If you're an impartial party, you'd have been offended in principle by either both, or neither. Not one over the other.

i had hoped that we could have peaceful resolution and agree to disagree but still respect each other like i said on page, what, 5? i had a part in bringing it up again too, so who the eff am i to talk? i am feeling very hypocritical right now as i did defend myself when i was attacked after the fact. i am just so torn. i feel so guilty.

I think that the last few years has taken a major toll on all of us and that the present events are not making it any easier for anybody as well! I believe that we're all trying to find ourselves in this mess and trying so desperatly seek of understanding why this all came about. Clues have followed,but no ground to hold. In a time that we all were celibrating the New Millimium with hopes and dreams,has turned to disaster for us mindlessly. Whatever their is to uncover let it be,but know thyself for the truth will never settle in our hearts!

you didnt hurt me though, and i feel that you were coming from a place of pain. reactionary... you know? its hard to get a grip on powerful emotions sometimes. especially in matters regarding loss and tragedy. i feel a lot of compassion for you. im really sorry. i know some people who were immediately affected by that tragedy too. it was awful.

It seems silly to me. All countries are faulted. None are better or worse than the other. There's no difference between my country's people and yours. It's discriminatory and very insultative.

Ozone, I'm pretty sure Ally didn't mean you, because I don't recall you bashing anyone's patriotism at any point. The only country you've ever been critical of is your own, and I think that's out of pain/love. (notice how the two are so closely tied )

Jacqueline, I'm no better than you. I tend to be partial to the US, because they're my neihbor and big brother, and likewise for you and France.
I don't know if you'll be back to read this, but if so, I just want you to know that it's cool. I get it.
I too try to be impartial, but the insensitivity sometimes IRKS me. If that attack happened to any other country, I would feel just as outraged. And so would most people with a heart.

Silverbells... gotcha, babe.

And TEVA. You know what? It doesn't matter who was behind that attack, because the end result is still the same. Over 3000 people died, and about 300,000 lost family or freinds. You can't tell me, as a compassionate human being, that you're revelling in that fact. If so, you're defunct as a human. You should retire yourself.
