I have seen myself through a glass, darkly.
Now see me face to face. I have taken great pains to express just what you think you are informing me of; that a teacher is not better than a student. I have said nothing else. Have you heard a word I have said? I think you need to see this, for it is you, and not I, who is inferring that I make some claim to superiority when I confess myself a teacher. And confession is the word for it, because, fayte, if you knew me, you would know that I admit my faults regularly, and that I find it easy to do so. The hard thing for me to do is to stand up and say, "I am right," because that is what makes me look bad in others' eyes. When I say "I am wrong," everyone gathers around to offer comfort and forgiveness, but, when I say, "I am right," there is no end of accusations of arrogance against me. Can you see this? Sometimes a teacher does indeed have to insist upon their role as teacher. Buddha did not let the dharma speak for itself, any more than he kept total silence. He said, "this is the dharma, all else is illusion,". The student is often unable to distinguish a true teaching from a false one, so it is necessary to assert confidence in one's role as teacher. You say that I am arrogant, because you think that I am usurping a position which is not rightfully mine, and that I am not a teacher. At this point, it becomes necessary for me to assert the fact that I am a teacher, in order to explain why I have every right to declare my position (but not myself!!!!!) superior. I am the one making this distinction. You are the one saying that, if I think my position is superior, I MUST also think that I myself am superior. This is what YOU are saying. Do not mistake us, fayte. See me as I am, and not as you would evidently be, if you were asserting a point of view which you considered superior. I am the one rendering all credit to the will of God, and you are the one speaking only of yourself, and your "free will". This is the very crux of my position. It is all I have tried to say. Please, do not try to inform me of that which you yourself are adamant to disagree with. And do not ask me to make sense of what you see, when you yourself cannot make consistent sense of what you see. Buddha is depicted as obese because he has transcended the material realm of appearances, not because he is faulted or gluttonous. I am depicted as headstrong, not because I am arrogant and self-seeking, but, because I can assert without a doubt the superiority of my position, without seeing it as a mere reflection upon myself. I have seen with your eyes,
how all things are distorted,

You make untrue assumptions and accuse me of things not true.

Lotus your insults are unnessessary.As to Buddha...I was not referring to his obesity as a negative. It is not. Only trying to make a point. Your and HSC's opinion of my soul and my ways are set. I will not waste my time. Do your own things.
Walk your own paths. I will walk mine.  Any problems with that?

Yes there are creepy scary and disgusting things. There are also wonderful, calming and lovely loving things.That is the world.
So what? Both sides exist and to accept one side and to deny the other is not balanced.

i dont think HSC has been acting out of the norm lately......
he's always stated that there is no such thing as free will, yet at the same time he says that all is God.......so i guess God has no free will?... 
he says that 2 is an illusion, but doesnt seem to realize that 1 is also an illusion?....
HSC speaks in contradictions better than a zen master... nothing wrong with that...

I removed them because they were unwanted. I also felt they served no purpose in retrospect.
I kept copies. I will reinsert later perhaps.
HSC is permitted opinions but I am not.
So I removed mine.

I have had a stroke.
I have had injuries to my neck and I have medically proven physical damage. Not imaginary. Not from my mind.

I would NEVER insult a person with bodily injuries or disease. To cut me down because I suffered permanet injuries and neurological disease is disgusting. May you see the cruelty in your heartless words and hope you never have such injuries befall you or suffer a stroke. I rarely use meds. I suffer pain that I doubt you could imagine. I do not describe it in detail nor talk about it much. You have no damn idea what my life is like and what it takes to keep going through the pain..usually "without" meds. I am in utter shock and do not know what to say now. But that was very cold heartless mean uncalled for and very cruel and coldblooded of you.

I know I am not the only disabled person out there. If I wanted pity I would list all my stuff for all to see. But I do not. You have no damn idea.
