You do not love me madame.
Stop the bullcrap.
God is not talking through you to me.
How arrogant of you!
And God has healed me of more things than you realize, and again it is none of your business what and when.
God is always with me. I know that

You are not God.

PS. I did not see your apology before my above remarks. Thank you.

I accept your apology, and hope we can have peace.

You slammed me for my blindness episodes etcetera and called me dark and proceeded to hurl more insults at me. Then you said God is talking through you to me. Then you said You love me.
Then You apologized. Then I accepted.
Then you hurl new insults at me.

I dont want to add fuel to this fire.

We are all very sensitive, passionate people,
and things can easily get out of hand.

No one here is entirely unjustified in their anger,
and I am not saying that what has been said
ought not to have been said.
All things happen in their time and for a reason.
To say that things should have gone down differently,
is, to my understanding, a denial of how things are.
We can only look, and learn, and hope to change in the future,
if we feel that change is warranted and desired.
I hope that we can approach this from
another perspective now,
and try again.

I hope this doesnt sound holier than thou, or whatever.
I have been there, and I will be there again,
so, I am not judging.

I am not close minded about you, fayte.
In the matter concerned, I have made up my mind,
and I will not look through your eyes,
in that matter.
I did not mean to say that everything is distorted,
and for that I apologize,
but I feel that, in this matter,
your views are distorted.
That is what I think.
I also did not mean to suggest that
I am always the teacher, or the eagle,
and you are always the student, or the crow.
I know we each have things to teach the other.
I tend to get carried away and express myself too generally at times.
Again, I apologize for that.

Are you familiar with Louise Hay,
and her book on affirmation work,
"You Can Heal Your Life" ?
She argues that nothing happens by chance,
that afflictions are not random,
but, are there to show us something,
and that all things that appear to happen to us
happen on account of unserving beliefs which we hold,
and which we can change,
thereby changing our experience.
Our minds are linked to the Universal Mind,
and what we send out comes back to us.
I know this can sound unsympathetic,
as if it is suggesting that everything you suffer
is your own fault, but that is not true.
We are all learning, and we make mistakes,
and it is not a question of fault.
Even the best of us aquire self-defeating beliefs.
Perhaps it is even the strongest of us, who,
wishing to test themselves, unconsciously
bring great trials upon themselves.
I don't know.

In any case, Ms. Hay would argue that a problem with the eyes,
however it is contracted,
stems from a refusal to see something.
I do not pretend to fathom your pain,
or compare my own pain to yours.
And I feel terrible to think that I add to anyone's pain,
especially anyone who has an unfair share of it already.

I am very conflicted in my manner of expression.
I want to be gentle and share love,
but, at the same time,
I find myself wanting to speak surgically,
to cut through surfaces,
and soemtimes very forcefully,
in order to make my point.
Sometimes I get carried away with how clever I think I am,
in turning a phrase, or making a point,
and I permit myself to say things which
do not reflect the tenderness I hold dear.
This is an ongoing struggle of mine,
and I have even fantasized about cutting out my tongue,
and lopping off my fingers, to keep from
saying or typing clever but thoughtless things which cause pain.
I hope you will use this confession
as a gentle reminder to us both, in the future,
and not throw it in my face when the time comes.
I cannot promise to be perfect in the future.
I am sure I will do it again.
But I promise to do my best (short of chopping off my fingers)
not to do it again.

Petron,

I dont think one is an illusion.
It is the clearest thing in the world to me.
Who can pin-point the exact instant
when a river becomes an ocean?
Or when an impulse from God/Spirit becomes a man/soul,
becomes a desire, becomes a will,
becomes a choice, etc.?
This is not illusion,
because it is only apparent when we look
beneath the surface of things,
and, the deeper we look,
the more unified the world becomes.
Whereas multiplicity dances on the surface of things,
and disappears into the oneness.
I would be interested in your arguments to the contrary.
Does God have free will?
It is an intriguing question.
I have never heard "free will" used in that sense.
I could speculate, but I doubt it is something we could answer definitively.
Again, I would be interested in your thoughts.
Also, I am not a martyr,
although I can see how I made myself look that way.
I can handle being thought arrogant,
for believing in an objective truth.

If I was ever arrogant,
it was due to choking on my silver tongue,
and not to thinking my view of oneness objective.
I stand by my view,
and that includes my belief that others are short-sighted in this regard.
But, I am begining to question the methods I use,
in order to make my points.
For it seems my methods have received far more attention
than the points I was trying to make,
and that was never my intention.

anyway,

we are all children,

hsc

>>>I do not agree. You do not either.
Enough already!
LET IT GO PLEASE.
If you cannot, then I will have to try to ignore you.
I would rather have nice conversation with you as we have at times actually had.

What happened to the clean slate?

Let it go please.

Does it really matter who started it?

Or,
isnt it more important to ask
who has the strength of heart to end it?
Who can turn the other cheek,
and repay hurtful words with words of love?

Every angry word is a cry for help.
The strongest is not the last to put up their fists,
and throw the last punch,
but the first to open their arms,
and give the first hug.

I will not comment when I disagree with you. It serves no purpose.

I enjoy much of our conversations and will endeavor to only comment from hereon when I agree with you.

I would admire someone who
was willing to say they started it,
if they thought that would end it.

Sometimes,
it is better to be kind than right.

But that requires swallowing one's pride.
And that's a jagged little pill.

Hence, my admiration,
which doesnt come cheap.

Fayte,

That is your choice.
I dont know if it is right or wrong.

You are always free to disagree with me. Just dont expect me to change my position. If you dont want to disagree with someone whom you have no guarantee of winning to your side of the debate, then, by all means, don't bother with me. But, I hope you will take the trouble. I enjoy the challenge, and my mind is not closed on all matters. Just on the matter of free will. That case has been decided. So, if you wish to leave that debate alone, that is acceptable to me, and probably a good idea.
