HSC, you like Daniel Johnston! I only heard of him last week when my friend gave me a CD of his. He sounds like an interesting character. Your list of music sounds like you're reading from my CD collection!HSC, sorry if it sounds like I'm teaching my gran how to suck eggs, but have you ever heard of a group called Caravan? They were around in the 60's, they're British. Mr Wheels introduced me to them, a lot of their stuff is hit and miss but we have one of their albums called 'If I could do it all over again I'd do it all over you' (hehe) and it is one of the most perfect, lovely, ethereal (yet rocky in places) amazing, trippy, melodious and unique albums I have ever heard. I know it's boring people pushing their music on to you but I think you especially would really like this. It is so beautiful it makes me cry and laugh at the same time. I'm really surprised they're not better-known. And if you've never seen a film called Gypo, check that out too. And here endeth Wheels being a bossy mare.  IP: Logged |
