I mean, my mother has been groped in public on numerous occasions, but I wouldn't say that it's a "life pattern" or that she puts herself in those situations. I've been cat called a few times, groped once, and again, I don't put myself in those situations. People choose to say/do things to ME, just like people choose to abuse her. I think Sanchuness story is real. I didn't think the abused child with the hot water was real.
I thought about it but my heart told me it wasn't.
I think Sanchuness was trying to make real contact on LL but up until this point but could not . Then he decided to reach out in a real way.
I feel that he put himself out there with the personal details of this situation. That is not easy even from behind a computer.
IS it a screwed up situation? Yes,but I think we all have been in crazy situations---each having it's own particular flavor-not necessarily the same details.*I* have.I have been in worse and I have more to answer for than he does.
Could I help it? No. I didn't know how to do better.
He is asking how to do better.I honor and respect that.

S - reading your last post.. I realized I had a slightly different picture in my mind before. I thought she *wanted* to tell you these things herself.. and then left you hanging for an explanation.. which seemed attention seeking.But now that you're saying you actually questioned her a lot about her sexual history.. and she refused to answer - and finally told you very brief one-sentence stories.. Maybe she is just private and wants to live in the present - rather than discuss her sexual past. I don't give details about my sexual past. I don't feel as though it is anyone's business.
Maybe this is the way she feels about it. But in the latest situation (with her friend's bf) - she did volunteer the information.. Was this a one off? The first time she actually *told* you something sexual happened.. when you were not questioning her at all.. IP: Logged |

Yes. I used to always suspect her of screwing other guys. This would upset her. She got used to me doing that though, it would happen a lot. Then I evolved and stopped even questioning where she went. I started giving her complete freedom as opposed to always asking her what she was doing and where she was going. Then she got used to me stop being suspicious and controlling after we met for the first time. In other words, I was only questioning and controlling when we were just communicating over the internet. When we finally met I wasn't controlling, manipulating or degrading her. I had integrated all of those negative aspects of my personality by the time we met. So I went a year without me accusing her or anything to answer your question. Depth, she wants me to move to Canada with her and thats why she says that she is so ****** off at me but I am lazy and not really motivated to go through all the B.S. that it takes to get a Canadian greencard, I have my passport though. She has no spiritual bone in her. Not conscious anyway. That is her biggest turn off with me. She doesn't believe in the magical at all and even gets upset when I talk about it but I have a feeling that "it" is buried somewhere deep in her.IP: Logged |
