I meant that my outer self or the impressions others have of me are not always clear to me, and I can't identify with some of the qualities that other people attach to me. IP: Logged |

Is that from 12th house, or is there a prominent semi-sextile to the asc? or a quincunx?------------------ Tattoo the Astro Disclaimer on your brain: you have free will to change your inner dynamics at any time, you are not your chart, your chart is a reflection of you, a dynamic energy, etc. Now, I don't want to hear any whining. I always thought the inconjunct was the same as the quincunx... I also have Moon/Venus/Node quincunx Uranus/ascendant, and Jupiter on the opposite side, to the ascendant (at least, four or so degrees wide, so that might not count - it did when I first learned about it, though).Just writing that makes me think I should be having more fun right now. Going by what I've heard about Moon + Venus and Uranus. Dang. IP: Logged |

I meant the post you erased, Lonake, on this thread. It was about the 2 sides of your personality, the Leo side and the other quieter side/Pisces, I think. I wanted to come back and read it slowly and it was gone PS You missed your calling with that disclaimer....... Law lol

Now dont let my Pisces Sun get us both confused, lol! Just let me know if it's not there! Teasel, So you can do Moon/Venus or uranus/Asc but not both, right?? Cos that's sort of how it is with my inconjunct. IP: Logged |

Thank you, Lonake for leaving me him On a SERIOUS note-----why would a semi sextile to Benedicts ASC act the SAME as an quincunx? Isn't the semi--sextile favorable? ------------------ Pluto conjunct Dejanira, Girlfriend. IP: Logged |

I dunno, I get similar feeling from semisextile as quincunx:Sun in Leo -masculine -fire -fixed Moon in Capricorn -feminine -earth -cardinal Sun in Leo -masculine -fire -fixed Moon in Virgo -feminine -earth -mutable See, no match. vs. Sun in Leo -masculine -fire -fixed Moon in Aquarius -masculine -air -fixed...................opp 2 matches Sun in Leo -masculine -fire -fixed Moon in Aries -masculine -fire -cardinal.......trine 2 matches Sun in Leo -masculine -fire -fixed Moon in Gemini -masculine -air -mutable...............sextile 1 match So basically they're looking at each other like, what planet did you come from. But it can be intriguing and add an element of surprise in both natal and synastry. If you're talking about neighboring signs in synastry, then that's common because theyll likely have venus or merc in the others sun sign. Sometimes I wish I had a ton of Virgo or Scorpio so that my threads wouldnt be so obnoxiously long. Jane, if youre reading this, lol, I'm jealous. ------------------ Tattoo the Astro Disclaimer on your brain: you have free will to change your inner dynamics at any time, you are not your chart, your chart is a reflection of you, a dynamic energy, etc. Now, I don't want to hear any whining. .MBlake What part of this can you identify with? Don't worry about being humble. We know you are great Mercury sextile Mars Your mind is very restless and you will never cease to learn. You are quick, practical, perceptive, brave and can easily detect the weaknesses of others. You are very creative and you can excel both in writing and in manual arts. You are very secure and firm in your decisions without being aggressive. Your mind never rests and it is important that you keep yourself active. You make an expressive and lively conversationalist, and you generally mean what you say and say what you mean. You have the ability to speak truths without coming across as too blunt or offensive. You often make the best decisions at the very last minute! You can be very productive when you're focused, spending less time on work that others labor over. You often take "busy-ness" in stride. You are alert and aware, and can easily turn ideas into workable projects. Your communications are refreshingly direct and to the point, although not especially sympathetic.
Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Mercury and Mars have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consist IP: Logged |

Mblake You have Mercury sextile Venus. You want things to be harmonious. You like artistic and creative things: things of beauty. You have a gracious sense in how you express yourself, too. You can get along with others well cuz you are diplomatic. You have to be careful you don't please too much for dislike of arguments.IP: Logged |

Mblake I know you better than some people but I am gonna try to paint a picture of you just using this few things--Virgo ASC/Mercury in the 2nd house, Mercury sexies Venus, Mercury sexies Mars You have a grounding on the earth(Virgo ASC). The chart ruler goes to the 2nd house so this re-inforces an earth bound person who can manage well in the material world. I can see your living space as ordered , tasteful and functional. Venus sextile Mercury shows you are a gracious person in how you express yourself. You could go to any dinner party and talk with anyone as a natural conversationalist You have Mercury sextile Mars. This shows a direct way of speaking and being. It is direct and assertive but NOT aggressive or obnoxious. Your mind works fast and you can figure out solutions to things, well. PS You have a packed 2nd house so we can get to that on the next thread which will be on the 2nd house lol

Asc = Gemini Gemini Ruler = MercuryMercury in Sag in the 7th Mercury conjunct Venus Mercury sextile Uranus in Libra in the 5th Mercury opposite Saturn in Gemini in the 1st Saturn in the 1st Capricorn in the 8th Sun & Jupiter in Capricorn What were the questions? Ruler of the 1st being in Sag in the 7th makes me a number of things. The 7th house focuses on others over self. Having Sag there makes my interaction either humorous or deep. The 7th corresponding to Libra may contribute to my enjoyment of justice, which makes Sag a great companion sign. It (as well as the Venus conjunction; Venus also being conjunct Neptune) also gives me an artistic bent. Saturn in the first opposite my chart ruler gives a certain discipline. I don't consider it's affects on the 1st as much as I consider it's affects on Mercury. I'm a Capricorn Sun, so Saturn in the first might reinforce that a bit, but how would I distinguish between the two? Being opposite Mercury it adds a lot of discipline to how I communicate. Uranus being in positive aspect to both sides of the opposition leads, I think, to some great means of synthesizing information. It's kind of the dream team of planets where thinking is concerned. Sag is big picture; Saturn in Gemini gets at the details, and curtails the Sag tendency towards overstatement; and Uranus throws in a bit of that electric, "How else might we view this?". And they're all super macho in their masculine affinity (masculine signs in masculine houses). IP: Logged |

Regarding your closed thread in LLC2, would you consider two years a good amount of time? If so, then yes. It could have last much longer. Her Sun was on my aforementioned chart ruler, Mercury. IP: Logged |

This is what I would like to do before this thread ends . I would like to try to write a few sentences on each person who posted just using the ASC and the first house planets (and aspects) to describe the person. Then, they can tell me what they think. I did that with Mblake cuz I was able to hone it down more ,now, after trying to get a feel for the other posts. That is my goal, anyway lol ------------------ Pluto conjunct Dejanira, Girlfriend. quote: Dear Teasel, Are your Saturn squares etc to Pluto or Mars? Ok You have a Scorp ASC. Mars is in the 4th. That makes sense that there was the Mars issue(bullying) in the early home/home life. So, you have Pluto in the 11th. The 11th is your place as a social creature ,DD said. So, do you feel a shake up about your social situation. The 11th is our goals and dreams, too. Do you relate to Pluto being there? I will stop here and wait until you answer my question about the squares
Saturn squares Pluto in the 9th, and opposes Jupiter in the 5th. I was just thinking the other night, that I might feel better about things right now, if I were doing something good - working in something that fulfilled me and helped others in some way, whether it be directly, or indirectly (like one woman, who bought a painting of mine when I was nineteen, who said that she bought it because it looked 'spiritual'). I got way off-track where that's concerned.[quote] I am gonna think about yours, today, Teasel.
Aya--I am gonna check your Mercury/Uranus, too and be back ------------------ Pluto conjunct Dejanira, Girlfriend. IP: Logged |
