And you thought about it because of the Greek and Roman mythology about Pluto being the god of the underworld?

I don’t think…I doubt if I was as subtle as that. I just thought it was a name that hadn’t been used so far, and might be an obvious one to have.

That’s exactly right. He was retired He had been Bodleian’s Librarian, which is the head librarian in the Bodleian at Oxford, which is the university library of course.

Do you like to look up at the stars?

Very much. Sadly it gets increasingly difficult to (do this). It’s so well lit around here that only the brightest stars really get a look-in unless we have a power outage of course. But occasionally if one is in the country, and it is a good clear night, it is absolutely wonderful.

Comica,

"Also, astrology is based on the theory "as above, so bellow", which means how things are up there affects how things are down here. So how can we accept the existence of some objects while not accepting the existence of others"

Exactly.

Just wanted to add something:
Threads like these are informative about people`s personality (or rather how they express themselves) and I just wanted to tell you that I respect and admire you a lot as an astrologer.
You have been one of the very few people I have come across here who have been always consistent, with a strong opinion and yet always trying to see the other`s point, being objective, fair and refraining from getting personal in all instances I have seen you interacting.
These are very rare and precious qualities. And I appreciate you a lot for these.

Pire,

actually I don´t care very much if anyone agrees with me here or not (though of course agreement "feels" better than disagreement, but everyone`s entitled to t heir own opinion, as long as noone tries to force me to share it or being condescending, when I don´t).

You alluded in your last post to me that I wouldn`t explain and that you were to "blindly accept my statement".
Yes, you wrapped it into a question, but we both know about the nature of rhetorical questions.
And yes, this kind of rhetorical question feels condescending to me.
Did I ever before ask you to accept blindly anything I said?

DD, thank you! To be honest, what you've said is exactly what I think about you, I've always admired your Sagittarian way of thinking and sharing ideas.

>>>Afflicted Nessus exists in each and every serial killer's chart, and in a majority of sociopath's charts. >>>

This is very untrue, and I would know, since I look at mostly crime perpetrators and victims charts.

and in turn, this helps me realize that my original posting was never directly directed towards the use of asteroids at all but rather it was directed towards the lack of overall knowledge and depth.

Duke,

When you quote, you should quote all of a sentence. Aren't you the Duke of Grammar? You just quoted a sentence incorrectly.

And, what exactly, are you trying to say anyway?

>>>>to everyone that knows in-depth, the meanings of the asteroids and have taken the time to learn and understand, i apologize.. to everyone else, think before you speak. >>>

I do know in-depth better than probably anyone on this board about criminal's charts, since I focus on it.

Nessus is just NOT afflicted in a majority of them. Don't make me post charts as an example, because I will.

what are we considering as an "affliction"?

Anything square, opposite, maybe quincunx to a non-outer planet. 2 degree, maybe 3 degree orb max.

I was interested awhile back when IQ said that, because I look at those charts frequently. I found nothing in most of the charts.

As an example, Charles Manson has nothing within orb with nessus unless you count a square to pluto, but I don't since so many will have that.

>>>eat some chocolate diana and take some f'in midol because none of that was at all directed towards you. it was using a portion of your quote to make a statement about how somebody before you sat there and blatantly just talked straight out of their as$.. but if you'd like an argument sweet cheeks, i suggest you go over the thread and stop when you find the word 'maturity'.. something about being always on the defensive n ish.. yeah.. think about it because that much, i'm now directing towards you. >>>

You used my quote, so it was directed at me. If it wasn't, why use my quote?

I don't have pms, btw, I just don't take anyone's crap -- there's a difference.

You want to talk about maturity? A mature person wouldn't make an argument about people's grammar and try to use that as a basis to refute all they've said. It's a rather weak argument and has nothing to do with the facts. Furthermore, a mature person would never be so petty as to criticize someone's grammar without knowing why they have bad grammar. Maybe they have dyslexia or English isn't their first language or maybe they're on a smart phone that self-corrects wrong. Maybe it was a typo. Maybe they don't care about their grammar on a message board that much and put time into other writing endeavors, so they save it for that. But, either way it is a faulty argument and ad hominem, which is an epic fail to start a debate thread.

So, maybe it's YOU who needs the midol and chocolate. Men get hormonal imbalances too. It's called IMS.

There's no way I'm about to read this whole thread, especially since there's so much bickering.

I misunderstood what you were trying to say to me, then.

Whatever, I don't feel like fighting. Let's just call it a truce, because I don't feel like putting the energy into it.

Wow, how low of you to try and belittle Diana with those PMS comments. You have to bring irrelevant and sexist comments to bring down her credibility when she was actually making more sense than you have in this thread. Infantile and stupid is the person who posted those pics earlier in response to a mature conversation.

Duke, did you go to college? You seem to have some sort of intelligence complex, maybe since you feel inferior and less intelligent to people in your everyday life (particulary a female) you feel the need to take it out and be domineering in your imaginary internet life.

on the subject of naming heavenly bodies...as astrology is ALL about SYNCHRONICITY, what i don't understand is that people don't get the synchronicity of their names and effects?

i do agree that one cannot determine an aspects influence by looking at a few charts of people with similar characteristics. to be fair one has to collect RANDOM charts to compare with those, and if you are going to say ALL (ANYTHING) you probably should check them ALL first!!

i value and have learned a ton from IQ's research but this is a valid critique IMO.

we DO know that ALL people have nessus in their charts. and i have observed over the years that people born in the same year and share outerplanet aspects (like sat/pluto/nessus) may not fall into ONE category but they may have a certain flavour that distinguishes them from other age groups.

for instance they may not all be serial killers, but they may find themselves embroiled in highly emotional, nonrational crises periodically when those aspects are highlighted/ hit their personal planets. and committing serial murder may be how that expresses with ONE person, being killed may be for another, and becoming a detective like sherlock holmes could be another manifestation.
