bluemoon - I can relate to this: quote: Personally, there are times I feel disappointed with myself and ask: should I have gone along with that? It can feel false, but it is the only way to procede. Maybe that is having to be mediocre... ..................... Resentment towards the person who put you in that situation might be part of the disappointment.
It's funny - 'mediocre' has been a word that I've been thinking about lately. I think it's really hard to show ones 'awesomeness' and 'just outright greatness' around the mediocre average population. People will find a way to bring it back to 'mediocre monkey mentality' or just beat you to submission until that's the only option you have left. Oh, I sound like such a negative mediocre monkey in saying that. But really I'm not, and nor is anyone around here. How can we be, when we are awesome Knowflakes? IP: Logged |

Koi, you don't have to ask for a transfer. Just don't pay attention to them, don't go to their website and don't let anything they say affect you. You and the people who matter to you know the truth. You are here to show the world your awesomeness. It's their problem if they can't handle that. That's how Hollywood big names like us deal with the press. IP: Logged |

Friend of mine printed out some such pages against someone taking her to court. It lost them the case. I don't understand why people have to be so childishly spiteful. Just say it out if you need to and be done. Mediocre. Mediocrity is not comfortable if you have a Virgo Stellium, I shouldn't imagine. It doesn't sit well if you have a Virgo MC, Squaring Saturn on one side and Jupiter/Neptune on the other.

Thanks Deux - I guess my world is small and feels very important to me. So to have a new person arrive, and has an occupation that can flaunt the law , and uses cyber-bullying as a political soap-box to push her own agenda is all a little too much for this humble butterfly that just wants to scatter fairy dust around her small but important community. Thanks you. Your thoughts have softened the blow. IP: Logged |

bluemoon - I don't mind hearing more re: "Friend of mine printed out some such pages against someone taking her to court. It lost them the case. "Already one person has sought legal advice and did got them nowhere as the cyber-bully knows the law very well, and they push their bitter language to a boundary that cannot be corrected through legal means. But I'm interested to know more about that person you knew. There is a new age of abuse using the internet. It's something we have to learn to deal with - whatever way possible. IP: Logged |

She used it as defence, showing the person taking her to court wasn't the innocent victim she was making out. She didn't take the person to court over what was said online, she just used it to show there was malicious intent in the prosecution.

Ah, koi. You just are a bad girl. I'm sure you see yourself in there. Somewhere. wheels - good, quiet. On holidays. Missing studies. Yeah, the jealousy thread - perhaps it really is something that you have to experience to understand - no matter what anyone else says to you. You just don't know it until you've lived it. You kind of want to share your experiences to save others the misfortune, but sometimes, that's just the way it goes. IP: Logged |

Yup. She should read Gypsee Wind's thread in Soul Unions. Basically boils down to "If people are effing you about, eff them"I am such a huge fan of Gypsee Wind. Glad you are quiet. Missing studying? Are you on crack?! IP: Logged |

That guy's Mars was square my Mars in Aqua. I could feel my nerves jangling. With that and all the MJ stuff it is getting quite tense on here this week.

PeaceAngel, is there any chance that you could have a word on the Diana thread?CheshireKat made this observation:- quote: I don't even know her to say this but maybe she has some sort of emotional trauma around abuse and rape and it was just triggered in the MJ thread
If it is suspected this is the case then I really do think that is signal for everyone to show some compassion and let the matter lie. I don't really want to post there and run the risk of enflaming things further. You tend to put things in a gentle way that gets the message across. IP: Logged |

Ah, think I missed the boat on the gentle slide. But still, something has been said. See how it goes. I will close it the next time something negative is said. I do feel sorry for Lara because that was her forum for wanting to deal with it and I think to find peace with Diana, but it didn't work out that way.IP: Logged |

One of the things we do here is share our experiences in the hope of sparing others the same misfortune of choice. And then you just cross your fingers and hope that it's heard.IP: Logged |

I think most people with an ounce of optimism and idealism will do that. Some people call it "love". Sometimes I think I see the good in people more than I should - or is realistic - but then I'd rather be like that than be jaded. Hope is really important. And sometimes seeing the best in someone inspires them to live up to it.That link that Peri posted was awesome. Deportation advice! Ah, no - don't think we want him back. He can keep himself. Oh, yes, I totally agree, even now. I'm not letting that man spoil the joy that I have found since I shipped out of there. I believe in the joy. He has his issues. He was beaten as a kid and it all perpetuates. Control is all he knows. That's why child abusers should be flayed and have their skin ripped off slowly by monkeys. They can **** up GENERATIONS of people. *off to check Peri's post* Peri is a demigod in my eyes. IP: Logged |

It takes a strong person to go through that and maintain that sense of enchantment though. I mean, you just it yourself that certain behavour perpetuates certain behaviour. And then you're proof that you can go beyond that.Granted though, that children don't have the life experience or sense of self to do that. It's a strange dynamic though, from what I've seen with child abuse. People either become what they've experienced or the absolute opposite. OH YEAH about Peri. Totally agreed! I think she's freakin' awesome. IP: Logged |
