Sounds like a rough time. I have no doubt that you can persist through it. It isn't clear cut, and it may never be. Satisfaction is really in the mindset whether you can be happy with either choice. If you apply yourself, will that mean less time doing the things that really make you happy? If it entails sacrificing time with your kids, I don't think that the moral argument for applying yourself more is a strong one. If you can apply yourself more without sacrificing what you love, then it's a matter of choice. Is there certainty of advancement, and more pay?IP: Logged |

My computer's not connecting to the internet at home at the moment. Couldn't connect last night either. I'm beginning to suspect that there's something faulty within my computer.IP: Logged |

Being in rebellious resistance to a domineering and subtly bullying type meant I had a very hard time working with this person but now he has resigned! Let's see what happens with the restructuring. Or perhaps I will move on and do something else in my working life. There is no escape from the universe though, I know that. IP: Logged |

AG's post is interesting. How much should a person sacrifice to get what they want? That was the argument I had with this man, he would go to lengths I found immoral. I wasn't prepared to do that, I'd rather lose and have my self-respect. IP: Logged |

Wow! He resigned. That sounds good. quote: How much should a person sacrifice to get what they want? That was the argument I had with this man, he would go to lengths I found immoral. I wasn't prepared to do that, I'd rather lose and have my self-respect.
I think that's a good choice. I think my viewpoint rests on keeping in mind all the things I love. Between two things that I love, I would want to try to maintain both, and not sacrifice one for the other. (Still no internet on my computer. I'm going to try to fix that again today.) IP: Logged |

Yeah, AG, that is going to ease up the situation for me and not just me. His chart? Pluto on the Ascendant, in mutual reception to the Sun with the Sun at the apex of a T-Square with Mars and Jupiter seemed to neatly draw up some of the control issues he had going on. IP: Logged |

That's great about his resignation!!! Did it have anything to do with you? I agree with you bluemoon, about not escaping the Universe!!! Scary, isn't it Oh meta!!! We have to get together and come up with that plot to acquire Jennifer and show her the ways of wonderous womanhood...!!! IP: Logged |

No, nothing to do with me, to do with being a sore loser! I'm hanging out the flags whatever the reason. Anyone into Solar Return charts? Mine for this year (just had my birthday) is a classic..... Jupiter/Neptune in the first house of my solar return chart, reflecting my birth chart. There's no escape! Moon/Uranus/Pluto T-Square (Uranus OPP Moon Square Pluto) natally Pluto is 3* behind and Uranus 9* in front of the Moon. Transiting Uranus is opposing my Moon/Pluto. Not great. Venus/Mars Conjunct - natally I've got the Square, and it's not the best part of my personality. My Lunar chart is very similar - because the Solar Return Moon is Conjunct my natal Moon - maybe by next Lunar Return at the end of the month I will feel more settled. Or maybe not - Uranus/Moon is going to be weaving it's magic within the year.

What's new, Moaners? My Status: My computer still isn't letting me on the internet regardless of getting strong connection to the router. It also shuts out the other computer when it does connect making both computers useless where the internet is concerned. The "wired" computer is easily fixed once my computer stops trying to monopolize the router. I have no idea how to fix it. I got my new projector yesterday! It is so cool! http://www.madisonartshop.com/artrpr.html It came in tact in its original packaging. Set up consisted of screwing in the included lightbulb. It works brilliantly. It should be quite easy to create some art with it. From across my 12' wide bedroom, the projected image on the wall takes up most of the wall. That's from a 5" x 7" original I think. This past weekend I had an improv show. It went well. I'm getting good about ensuring myself the right energy for the show. I try to be well-rested, relaxed. Anxiousness is definitely my enemy, and drinking doesn't really turn anxiousness into a good performance. I still have a drink back stage, but now I could care less about it. I'm not medicating in preparation. There were a couple shows after I got rattled by a bad performance where I had that manic anxiety, and felt compelled to try to relax by drink. It doesn't take much to realize that it's much simpler to just relax, and have an easy, carefree day leading up to the show. These last two shows I've followed this strategy, and been perfectly comfortable with the outcome (which is no small task for a Virgo Moon). I guess that's all. Hope you all are well. IP: Logged |

Ah-ha.... I was sensing Virgo somewhere AG - I can commiserate with that nervous Virgo energy - but it definitly can be turned into something positive - it can give a real edge to mental clarity!Your projector sounds cool..!! Will check out the link. I didn't realise you do 'shows'. Are they art displays? IP: Logged |

Ever tried Yoga? It helped me with childbirth, I know improv class isn't the same thing but maybe it might help? Somewhere subconciously the Yoga breathing has helped me with stressful situations, like in my case, with my overpowering Mars action, getting angry over scenarios as moaned about above. More moans later when the school run is done. IP: Logged |

Things to moan about? The N.H.S is facing the biggest shortfall in its history. The implications of that bothers me. Two fascists will be representing the U.K in the European Parliament. Nice protest vote. It shows have far Labour have lost their path, they're just not addressing the problems of the working-classes. Our local elections have returned representatives who are going to have real trouble moving their arms without getting their strings tangled. It's not a good week to be a left-wing voter. Saturn in my 10th symbolises the ease with which I will achieve anything in this area of life. I'm living in the middle of a major recession and need more work. moan, moan, moan But then I just got something through my mailbox I rather liked.

Cpn! When's the big day?AG, I have such respect for anyone who goes out on the stage, I would rather stick pins in my eyes. Although I do have delusions that I am the next undiscovered Barbra Streisand. God how I would love to be able to sing.

Moan du JourChain came off my bike this morning. So obv I'm prey to stupid cyclists on the path. One weasel-faced idiot pulls over on his £3,000 bike, dressed to the max in all the Lycra and says to me: "Having problems?" and I say "No, thanks, just the chain came off, no biggie" and he says "You want to get yourself a decent bike, or at least clean that one" I say "It is a decent bike and I have to cycle it down a half mile potholed track twice a day so there's not much point in cleaning it" and he says "You should get a decent bike or at least clean that one".
