AG, have you tried a Dr Bach remedy? Aspen is good for anxiety. $5.12, cheaper than a good whiskey. http://www.bachshop.co.uk/catalog/index.php?currency=USD&cPath=25 I am a huge believer, I got a remedy mixed up (Aspen, Cherry Plum, Gorse, Gentian, Chestnut) as I was in despair and in a constant state of anxiety and dread, and it helped so much. No! The hat is fabulous, you're just not feeling in hat mood. By Sunday you will be stepping out in confidence. It's normal to have jitters. Old lady bike eh? I know the kind. I had a black boneshaker with a wicker basket. It was cool but it didn't cut the mustard on hills (many hills here). Put some pics up, that would be great. IP: Logged |

Moan du Jour, le dessertWhy is Jwhop so annoying? I find him amusing but I'd love to stick his head down a toilet bowl and flush it. Or give him a wedgie, or a Chinese burn. He brings out the revengeful child in me. I want to grab his trainers and throw them over a telephone line. ARGGH. He push my buttons, he push my buttons. Leo men. Can't stand em, secretly love em, mostly want to punch them full force in the face. IP: Logged |

Some people in life I have to keep away from - I just saw one, I had to, and I have to see him next week. I pray it is the last time in my life. Spiteful, passive-aggressive, jealous, dishonest, unscrupulous. It's got so bad I can't be around him without feeling ill, and feeling my blood boil. After a long walk and a long cuddle of my friend's grandson I feel much better. Now for a tidy up and a run down to the charity shop with a couple of bags for life full of things I'm not using. Maybe a bit of Yoga afterwards if I still feel affected. IP: Logged |

Grrrr, sounds horrible Blue. I know the type. I've just been speaking to one from a partner organisation. I've been leading on a project for the last 4 months, applied for funding, co-ordinated everything. Got the finished product. Supposed to be working in "partnership". Then the other organisation sideline me, and organise a launch of the product in secret and have only just told me. I can't go. I don't work the day of the launch and they know it. Stolen all the glory. In their promotional material for the newspaper they listed our involvement as 5th on the list of all the partners (6 partners) even though we (I) led on it and secured £22,000. My boss just went nuts and rang them up. B@stards. I'm absolutely gutted. I've done absolutely nothing wrong and got on well with everybody during the whole project. They just can't resist grabbing the limelight and passing it off as their own.IP: Logged |

I had an email back from the perp which said "I'm sorry if you feel you have been left out of the loop. Thanks for all your help on this project".And I wrote one back saying: I don't feel like I have been left out of the loop. I have been left out of the loop. If the "help" you are referring to means leading on the project (at the main funder's request because the track record of working with both organisations suggested they preferred to work with us rather than you), securing funding from multiple partners, organising meetings, submitting monitoring reports to the government, typing up meeting minutes, liaising with the contractor, processing invoices, checking three drafts of the product for accuracy and ensuring that there is sufficient budget for reprinting then thank you. Your appreciation is appreciated. I say again that leaving our organisation out of such a crucial event is disappointing at best. Ave that. IP: Logged |

It sucks Cpn and I am tired of ladder-climbing little men with Mussolini complexes thinking I am just a little woman that won't complain when they get deliberately shafted. My Saggie woman boss has gone straight down there all guns blazing. I love her. IP: Logged |

Good for you, and Ms Sag the gaffer. Lack of equality sets off my Aqua Mars. Square Ascendant Most of the time I am a decent and pleasant person, but not when my celtic blood starts to tingle. I feel less bad about me after reading your story. Maybe I could go about things better than I do, but sometimes people just push too far.

Don't feel bad Blue, you also have a Libra moon so I think you know when to pick your battles. I think there is no reasoning with people who will lie and deceive so you have every right to be angry.I just had an email back, which gave many justifications for their behaviour. At the bottom of the email it said this: "Men don’t write e-mails with flowers and kisses and so they tend to be misunderstood sometimes" NOW I AM REALLY MAD. IP: Logged |

Yes, what a silly thing to say to a woman, to anyone, in writing no less. That's how stupid he is. I'm considering passing it on to our National Director who hates this guy with a passion already because he is such a lazy buck-passing @rsehole. IP: Logged |

So Cpn, feeling any easier about Sunday? It's going to be such fun mate, the marriage as well as the wedding. You love this guy to pieces and he loves you. Put the past away. You're beautiful and talented and funny and he's so right to ask you to marry him. IP: Logged |
