No, Pire, I am referring to your prior post that says: and yes, of course, I think women should be publically verbally abused... My definition of Freedom includes Justice... In fact, the two are very much intertwined. I don't think you can have one without the other. Can my children have FREEDOM if they are not able to play in their yards without getting abused or hurt by other's recklessness? NO. Can we have relationships with one another freely without a sense of right and wrong? I would say absolutely NO. In my view, you cannot have freedom without fairness and justice. Abuse and Freedom are contradictory, and to say that Freedom allows for any sort of behavior is simply wrong.

PlutoSquared, are you deliberately selcting what you read and understand? selcting some of my comments to fit your argument? are you trying to portray me in some way? and Ami, are you trying to ostracise me? or you seriously don't understand what I mean by politically correctness that happens around here lately? do we all have to be politically correct now? or just those who choose to be? Absolutely Not, Pire... I'm trying to relate to what you're saying. If I have misconstrued your statement, please clarify, because from my standpoint it seems you are saying, in essence, that it's alright for someone to be demeaning (and pire, this is in reference to not just this thread, but another one that was deleted in the past week)... My original disgust comes from prior seen comments, not just the above that states "grow a pair" but a continual theme of degrading Ami... to the point of really cruel mockery. Grow up is not so bad, and had he said that, actually I might not have found it so offensive... Perhaps there is more to the story than what I've seen, regardless I think AMI needs to stay away from boys who don't treat her nicely and appreciate her. That is not my "politically correct" view, just my honest opinion. IP: Logged |

Well, I'm not sure how much freedom I have...But, I have seen posts from this fellow in the past that have mocked Ami's mental stability (mocked, as in really cruel joke), her status as a moderator, and even accused innocent posters of being her on other unrelated threads... Overall, not pretty. Not pleasant. IP: Logged |

Ami,You also seemed to make a very graceful joke, something along the lines of... He's all yours ladies... That was very clever and funny, btw. But, seriously, AMI... no guy, no matter how hot, how ANYTHING, is worth that kind of treatment... I thought Gemini's valued their freedom and had a sense (like Libra) of fairness? The Geminis in the past always seem to be very smart and adaptable people... Why settle for less? IP: Logged |

well, if you refer the thread where predominantlyfire refered to therealtruth as Ami, I personnally thought the same as he did, and as a matter of fact, I don't think therealtruth has ever posted againyou could check the IP address if you wished, as moderators. having said that, and to go back to your misunderstanding of my comments, you can go back to my comments on page 2 here and you will understand my point, unless you try very hard not to. my first comment, was that political correctness is a danger, and the second comment was an anticipation of such a political correctness. and as I expected, some brave souls (*ironic*) would raise the banner of rights for the weakest now I can explain why I think politcal correctness is a danger, but not in this thread, it would not be appropriate I suppose. everyone who wished a Happy birthday to PDF, wished more than just one happy day, isn't it? one last thing about political correctness, if there is no dark, there is no light IP: Logged |

I disagree. Know-it-all types need a bit of degrading in order to learn humility. IP: Logged |

Pire I am gonna say this honestly and straight forward. IF you feel ostracized, YOU are doing it to yourself. You can make yourself be an ostracized person by acting like a jerk, quite frankly. You can ,also, be very charming, as French men are You will reap what you sow based on the choices you make i.e you will FEEL at home in LL or not. Choose charming.
