perhaps ami has a better sense of humour than you do.although there is some truth in what you say - those she is fond of get away with what others are chastised for...

but meanwhile i am concerned that now people are being banned without even a warning and with no explanation. kind of reminds me of what it must have been like to live in the warsaw ghetto - one day your neighbour is there, doing his everyday stuff, next day he is GONE and no one knows where..some might suspect but NO ONE WILL corroborate those suspicions.

as ami frequently mentions being jewish i would think this parallel would be only too apparent to her. does this not bother you ami?

If I ran the zoo, I'd probably have a hearing before banning anyone. Volunteer jury. 60% vote wins. That would make for an equitable ban, because then if the person is truly popular, they'll stay. If the person truly isn't in the wrong, they'll stay. It would work well I think.

Having a lot of experience with Sagittarius, I find that their humor IS HONEST, so if it's got some bite and bruise in it, it's because THEY MEAN IT, no matter how happy and joyful the humor sounds, thanks to Jupiter.

If all is God's will, truly, then yes whatever happens is for that will. If the gay person becomes motivated to do something to correct the problem, then they are better off then when they started, right?

But, personally, I think that behavior is stupid, so I'd probably shame the person trying to demean the other person. It's all karma. A big circle.

Well, that's where I'm coming from in "shaming" someone who has been consistently crude and cruel towards Ami.

LaLalinda was right when she said I don't know the personalities of the specific people, but regardless, I find offense on Ami's account, and am shocked that she allows herself to interact with a person in that way...

we are not talking about abusive bypassers in the street here. we are talking about people who have at least a little knowledge of each other. pdf and ami OBVIOUSLY talk elsewhere. he has stuck up for her numerous times and sometimes friends say things which might SOUND abusive to an ignorant bystander (and NO, i am not calling you ignorant, just saying third parties don't have enough info to judge by) but is recognized as affectionate teasing by the recipient.

but yes, PS, i have noticed a very wide judgmental streak in you. you came here and within a couple of months you were pegging people as something not nice and making it your Mission to correct the board. i put that down to youthful enthusiasm but then you come along and say things like "yes the end of the world is coming and jesus is going to set the world straight" ... this is not youthful enthusiasm but missionary zeal of the sort that caused the Inquisition and the Crusades. with god on our side, right?

i don't personally believe the end of the world is coming...and i don't think pire meant THAT seriously either. you are entitled to your beliefs as i am to mine. i have found that whatever the religion, a great many people use it to justify unholy attitudes like judgment and exlusion of those deemed unenlightened.
