Everyone is grieved when there is a ripping and a tearing of a community.

LL is a community and a family.

I think the best thing to do to facilitate getting the people you love back is to let this thing go.

In time, anyone who wants to come back can make peace.

Randall offered that to everyone.
That is a big gesture in my book.
Maybe, if we drop this, the people can come back sooner.
In a good family, you are always welcome back when reconciliation is made----ALWAYS.

If by *your* special person you mean the site itself-- no-- that will not get it 'back'.

if you mean a banned or missing in action Knowflake that we deem `special`

Though LL is no longer my home page I keep checking back...

I liken it to a-- slow motion--car wreck--on the interstate. This very thread is a good snapshot of the wreckage.

This is different. The current fracture in the bedrock of LL in no way resembles the disagreements of the past.

Getting 'it' back is moot. The site will go on as something completely different.

It was beautiful. I expected nothing less from the quality of people who posted.
It's a sad place here without (most of) them.

It showed family, yes we ARE family, rallying around to support a fellow member in any way we can.
Randall, where were you?

Strange how that same support has recently had some knowflakes banned or verbally abused.

And as for PDF, I also wonder what he didn't do, that he wasn't meant to do, that he didn't do, to get banned.

Randalls job is not easy to provide LL for us so people like Pire CAN give to help another Knowflake :so we can have a place to come with like minded people and love each other.
Someone has to build this house we all love and are fighting to keep.
People may cringe when I say that but that basic fact seems to get lost in all of this.
We have a home built for us by someone.
We owe that person at least basic respect cuz of that.
It is not much to ask.
You know I how feel about the loss I felt.
I believe we all can be reconciled in time and with HUMILITY on all parts---every single person, here and every single person who left.
