Lexx,Just wondering if you've reached out to United Way? My mother is a social worker who works with medically fragile clients to secure community resources, and often times she has found them helpful. I believe dialing 2-1-1 from any landline (or possibly cell phone) will put you in touch with local volunteers 24/7. I also located a website for Ohio specifically : http://www.ouw.org/ Best wishes and lots of love to you both!

Yes we have but still need to go talk to them;
when we are both able to do so.
Both of us are so exhausted and he is still not functioning right yet. 
Sigh.....
Need to find a lawyer too and ugh so much to deal with.

I doubt LexiGuy will be up to posting much of anything for awhile.
Still very worried about him;
as he is still in pain and mostly sleeping, or trying to.
Still worried he might have an obstruction and need surgery for the damaged valve.
The furbabies

Im sorry for you lex.. because the crazy nurses you met.Ive worked many year on hospital and get through many wards... Sometimes there are bad feelings in the walls ,on some few ward. Sometimes there are bad athmosphere that affect everyone who works there. Ive been on bad feelings ward just for short time. I felt like that wards stop me...I couldnt work out my work as I was learn to do and like to do...sometimes I felt it was wrong boss...Ive seen ward and nurses athmosphere changed completely when the ward change the boss. Sometimes it could be one nurse behind everything..

Lets just say I do not know how we will get through this and all.
My health has gotten worse too due to inability to get the care I need etc.
Getting (maybe?)financial help is not simple,
and they expect you to jump through hoops and drive far away (when both are unable to drive so far or at times not at all)and get medical tests you already cannot pay for.
And doctors and all require payment up front.
Cannot get blood from a stone.
Very exhausted and bummed out to say the least.
