Jimmy Carter) of www.cartercenter.org have done work to advance awareness (especially in Liberia). Also like the work of Dr Peter Breggin in Ithaca, NY USA. you were there!
I knew if I reached out you would have responded.
I was very ill dear heart.
My world came to a grinding halt without warning last April.
I had to close my fb and stop posting there and at fb last April.
I had experienced several more mini-strokes in late 2011 and almost all of 2012;
I was very messed up and could not see well even with contacts and glasses at the same time.
So some folks felt angry and or hurt at me for "ignoring" them.
Months later I found messages from people thinking I'd dumped them from fb or was ignoring them.
No I was not nor did not.
I was mostly bed bound except to get up for the necessities, and that was very difficult.
I do try and post and all when my eyes behave somewhat;
am still partially blind though;
and it is unstable;
varies from hour to hour.
So I am still down most of the time.
I just post when I am up for meds etc.;
and when my sight is not too messed up.
I feel like I am a terrible friend , because I can rarely any longer keep up with all the folks who ask me for help.
Hopefully I will get a nice long remission;
but at this time it sure does not bode well.
