Just want to end this on a bit of a good note by saying:

And you truly are. It is not an easy thing having others analyze and present their feelings honestly to you on a public forum and even if our intentions were not to hurt you, I know that this has not been a fun thing for you.

You conducted yourself very well considering and I admire you all the more for that. I seriously doubt with my temper I would have handled it as well as you did. I do understand why at times you did get testy and attack back. Who wouldn't get defensive under the circumstances?

In spite of some of the harsher things I said here, and I admit I am no mild tempered individual, I alway regret after the fact that I might have hurt someone with my words. So I am sorry that I did.

You have great potential, Steve and I always liked you and still do. Which is why I do care what happens to you. I am not out to change you or anyone else. I have enough of my own work to do in changing myself. But you are young and I do care what happens to you. I hope you find what you are looking for in life. I would like to see you happy and I hope that before I die I see that great book that you have inside you. Take all your pain, all your suffering, all your experiences in life, good and bad and write!!! Utilize those lonely times productively by writing. The more experiences writers have in life, even the bad ones - maybe especially those - is what make them great writers.

Spats happen, tempers flare but I never hold grudges. I hope you don't either even if you are a Scorp.

You have a good heart; there has never been a doubt in my mind about that! You just have to tell people how it is sometimes, you know (I don't know of one Taurus who doesn't do that) I'm sure as much as HSC didn't want to listen, he read every single one of your posts. Truthfully, it just shows you care and I think most people can see that.

Exactly I think many people get stuck with the "Well, because my Venus is conjunct my Mars... and because my ascendant is on Gemini... blah-blah!" and it's so unproductive. It holds some truths but it's not the ultimate end-point! I also think many people complicate Astrology. The sun sign is the most important, the other placements may color the personality, but ultimately, the sun sign is the Spirit of your life, and the kind of energy you run on.

Silverstone, Your words are very much appreciated. I have noted on the threads here that you have a unique ability that is only due to your own beautiful soul to see beyond words and into the soul of others. Which is why, coming from you, what you said here is so very much appreciated.

MM, thanks. We do agree on the lyrics of that song. I know the song. It's beautiful and many Martina McBride songs make me cry. That is one of those songs. The lyrics are so very true.

I am pressed for time right now because I watched all your videos. Liked the Kurt Cobain videos. Since my youngest son was a fan of his I have heard a lot of his music and liked most of what I heard.

I particularly liked the interview with him. Showed his heart and I know you can sooooo relate to what he said in that interview. Love does change your life and outlook on life for sure. You will find that one day as well. When you are ready and least expecting it to happen, it will fall right into your lap and you will know it.

I have seen the movie Elephant Man many times. It had a powerful message for sure.

Never saw Faces but it made me smile. The ending was pretty appropiate too.

You mention Kurt Cobain - the Pisces, Jesus man (so he called himself in his suicide note)over and over again. Maybe he isn't your role model, but you must think about him a lot. You, like Kurt Cobain, are also comparing yourself to Jesus. Jesus, a scorpio? I don't know. Although there is debate about whether Kurt shot himself or was murdered - there is no debate about his drug addiction. That contributed to his death, almost certainly. So, while I feel sorry for all that Kurt Cobain went through in his life - I don't think he is someone for you to emulate. My son had the Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead thing going on. More often than not, Capricorn rising individuals are success stories. Their childhoods may have been difficult, but they slowly but surely turn their lives around. Saturn rules this Ascendant, and this generally means a kind of backwards way of living--as children, they are serious and bear a lot of responsibility; and as they grow up, they age beautifully, learning how to loosen up.

I know that these characteristics of the cap ascendant are changed by planets that might conjunct, aspect, - also where the ruling planet is located. I have pluto oppo my cap asc (wasn't your pluto square?), and my saturn is in virgo -8th house. Even so, life gets better and better for me. Might happen for you, too.

He sent me this song a few years ago when he was helping me through a truly rough time in my life. He told me take a dose of this medicine every day.

The medicine worked as it is hard to listen to this song and not be cheered up and positive in outlook.

So I am passing it on here as a good medicine for all us:

i dont try to emulate kurt, i just understand and empathize with him. same with jesus. people inspire me for different reasons. i have many people i admire. mostly writers and spiritual figures. there is no need for you to make much of the jesus thing. in the first place, when kurt made that comment he was just repeating what the media was saying about him, and he was not only being self-deprecating and self-mocking, but self-hating, as well. Jesus is a popular archetype in our culture, and people who gravitate towards spirituality, and/or who feel persecuted unjustly, are naturally going to identify with this archetype. there is no reason for you to raise an eyebrow at that. it is an innocent literary device. and anyway, christ came down from heaven and suffered, in part, so that he might identify himself with all of us, encouraging us to identify with him. All suffering is tragic. Christ was not special, and that is at the heart of his message.
