One was a chick that I'm sure would give Colin Farrell a go even if he had dirty finger nails!!!!

Oh, do you know what that does for a Venus in Virgo native!!!

Right, off to bed! Off to dream about Jen, but will probably dream about reports instead.

Have a great night all...!!! A great day!!!! A great week!!!!

Thanks for the pic of Mr Bale

It helped me through the experience of being to the dentist for the first time in 15 years.

Must be my lucky charm ~ no work needed.

I don't have pretty teeth though, but they are good for biting, and they don't rot easily. So serving their purpose.

Cancer Moon & Virgo Venus - but not fitting the degrees (or height in some cases):

Julio Iglesias
Sean Penn
Adam Sandler
Ryan Phillipe
Keith Urban
Weird Al Yankovic
Sean O'Farrell (no idea who he is - but made me think of a cross between Sean Bean and Colin Farrell - and that's gotta be a good thing)
Scott Speedman - he's cute! But falls into the David Beckham League of Communication Skills. Why oh why do they speak! Kills all illusion!

Hi bm

You just made me think of an interview with Christian where he said something about the English not being renowned for their dentistry. Cracked me up.

Glad that all went well.

That's when you really get to connect to people, in my view.

Going beyond the greedy part of Pluto, sorry, I'm struggling for the right way of putting it. But accepting is a good word for the opposite.

...forcing....vs accepting

That comes with age and experience. Rather than pursuing what's not good for you no matter how much you think you want it. But rather letting what is right just come to you.

Thought this may interest you.

Sean - Aries Sun, Gemini Venus, Cancer Mars.

Same as Gregory Peck.

Do you think once upon a time he would have been up for a quickie behind the "Tart & Come ".

Forcing, that's a great word.

Pluto personalised can be hard, greedy, insatiable. That's why we get some problems on here, it's all of use with Pluto in force with Venus and/or the Moon.

Odd, I came across a Hornblower picture of Gregory Peck the other day and nearly put it up.

Seems as though you may have a thing for men in uniform.

Seriously? Think about it. I mean, you mention all those things about Sean. Does that make him more accessible than - say, Rafe? Even Colin. Who we know likes wit and is willing to take a crack at a woman 40 years his senior.

Are we basing celebrity choices based on accessibity?

Great question.

I think maybe they are symbolic of a type of person we like. Or an experience we lack in our every day lives.

Say, Sean. Why do the thirty and forty-something northern women like him? Easy, he could be the boy we went to school with, he's not up himself, he goes to watch the Blades, he does charity stuff. But he's charismatic, a Hollywood star. He's one of us, but he's something special

If you have a life with responsibilities, for kids, grandkids, earning a living, it's the fantasy of those days when you were young when you could just go down the pub, meet someone who's got manners and will treat you right, but who is up for a laugh and a good hard. Just like when you were 20. Just like when I was 20, should I say.

Colin, there is the fantasy of someone who would take you seriously, listen to what you have to say, someone with depth. It's the suprise of finding that depth under the jack-the-lad image. He stands out, a Hollywood star who takes a man sleeping on the street out for dinner. He dates a writer, not a model. Age isn't a barrier. What else isn't? It makes him intriguing.

Yes, yes, yes. Totally see that and agree with that.

Actually, I believe that's why people go on and off with Oprah. When she's heavy women love her because "she' one of us" but when she loses weight her ratings drop. She's no longer one of the stay at home mums. It's just an observation I've made over the years.

The uniform thing, er, yeah, lol, it's true.

But the weird thing is, it's a family thing. Me and my uncle, we can't get enough of the Naval dramas. Seriously, we swap them around. He reads all the books as well.

And the military. That's my dad, too. He has read all the Sharpes. He knows all about it.

But it's just me that's got the hots for Sean.

Master and Commander, that is one of my favourite films. It's not just perving over that big naughty lad Crowe, it's all the naval history side of it.

I think someone in our family must have been a sailor.

Well said. Love that. Because that is so spot on. There's more there. And in the perception of that depth in him you would expect that he sees that part of you as well.

You never know! Sean could easily have that metrosexual appeal. Even the blokes want to go to the pub with him. But maybe not to the back of it.

I'm all war-storied out. My father was a sailor. And absolutely fascinated and obsessed with war. I spent my childhood subjected to war story after war story and endless American WW2 movies. I'm so ******* over them. I hate them with passion. My father is substantially older and was in the navy during WW2. I'm very curious and like learning different things but I can't abide having something forced upon me - passion killer. I have an aversion to anything to do with the military.
