Marge Simpson type shudders.

Enjoy your GI Joe dreams. If he fails to please, there is always the Ken doll. He only has a mound too. Shame. Such potential.

That Ralph Fiennes blow-up doll is starting to look really appealing. Must go find an air pump. Back later. Damn that inconvenient inflation spot.

Oh, well, goodnight. Sweet GI Joe dreams.

Gerard Butler.

Yes, please, if he isn't busy at the moment.

Caught a bit of p.s I love you last night, one of those films I end up watching without having intended to do so.

Maybe it is just me but I wondered at some of the insensitivity shown by some of her circle. Basically I didn't think like there was much effort to understand how she felt. One of her friends went around the wake trying to pick up men. I know it is a comedy but unfortunately I find it believable that people can be this self-absorbed.

Then, deviating a bit here from the film, I confess I get irritated by some of the empathy comments on LL, like the one (a long time ago) where we get how someone is so good at sucking out the emotions of other people, and I thought, yes, how sensitive. If you were really being empathetic you would work out they want you to leave them alone.

Oh, and there is the great line in the film, " I think you're hot", made to her at her husband's funeral. Watching that I thought: Mercury in Sag? Maybe with a Square to Jupiter.

Crazy goings-on outside my place of work today. Iwent out for me baked potato, and suddenly I saw a man getting flung out of a door of a solicitors and he was lying on the ground. So I ran over there and he was breathing but flickering his eyelashes a bit. So I asked him loudly if he could hear me and he said "Phone an ambulance I'm having a heart attack!", so I whipped out the phone and then the door opened and a woman said "He's just tried to assault one of our staff" and shut the door. So I banged on the door and said to the woman "He said he's having a heart attack" and she told me the police were on their way. Police arrived half an hour ago along with an ambulance. The silly b@stard is still lying on the ground. Looks like the police don't know what to do with him.

Oh hang on, another ambulance has arrived. Now the man is getting up. So that's 5 police in 2 cars, two ambulances with 4 paramedics.

I hope they lock up the timewasting turd.

An Oscar-winning performance. Much head-scratching by the local constabulary. I hate the squandering of resources, any resources. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

In the library we had a little incident similar but not the same. The police were saved a job as we have a hefty security chap who had a little word and then it was apologies all around. LOL.

PA,

Well, I figure the only raging winds that occur anywhere near Ralph Fiennes is between his ears, and that would entail being in his headspace, which would be fairly vacant ground, although, rather dangerous it seems. Besides, I think you would object to anyone but you being on the receiving end of one of Rafe's girly slaps.

LMAO!!! I just read this and had a laughing fit!

Okay - so maybe now may not be the best time to reveal that I haven't see PS I Love You.

Oh, come on! I haven't even seen Titanic.

And that's true. Oh, alright. I haven't seen Maid In Manhattan either.

PA you aren't missing much by not watching maid in Manhattan, it's just an excuse for J LO to parade like a fashion slave as usual. Go spend your dvd rental money on a RDJ flick instead...you know that's money well spent lol.

spunky. OMG! So you're the one person who has seen Maid In Manhattan. Wow! I'm impressed.

It's an in-joke - more Rafe mocking. Not his finest hour and a half. Best time to kick a dog is when it's down. Would have been a good movie to see in-flight. Not the first time Rafe's been ****** on a plane.

Sorry meta. Oh, well, you know I'm not. You know I really love Rafe. Really! I do! Truly!

Truly, madly, deeply even.

Can't wait to see In Bruges though.

Eventually most stuff arrives on satellite. Every now and then a film comes on that starts off being background noise that I get sucked into.

The Good Girl ~ I put down the broom and started watching. Eventually I bought the DVD.

P.S I Love You is another. On the the preview I thought that it looked a bit rubbish, but it wasn't.

Not a big fan of Titanic. Maid in Manhattan I've seen a small segment of but not enough to make me want to stop whatever else I was doing or argue with the person who wanted to hop channels.

I'm the same. That's how I get to see virtually anything, I stop for a moment and get sucked in. Mr PA watches a lot of movies.

Years ago he was watching Crimson Tide and I walked into the room (for a minute!), sat down after about 10, and sat there and watched the movie - not a sound, not a movement. It had me at hello. That's rare.

Usually I fast forward a movie and if it looks okay I go back. The ending of Michael Clayton was spectacular. Couldn't be bothered going back and watching the whole movie though.

But... put a Star Wars movie on - and I'll sit there. See now, if Yoda had had the lead in Maid In Manhattan, I may have watched it. I mean, certainly more believable pairing him with J-Lo than Rafe.

They're battling it out for better rulers for Virgo and Taurus in Astro forum.

I offered my services. Happy to take on both of them. But no-one baited. Damn! I think I'd be a great ruler for all matters Taurus and Virgo. I mean, I have Pluto in Virgo and Mars in Taurus along with Saturn.

Or am I just attempting to satisfy basic Arien need for rulership? Ego? What ego (oops - I just gave it a capital "E" by "accident"). Freudian slip? Nah! Just typical Mercury in Aries slip.

PA,

Someday i will have to forgive you for blaspheming my beloved... that day is not this day... unfortunately... FOR YOU!!!!!!

Ralph and i have a special sort of bond, you see. So when he made Maid in Manhattan, i understood he reasonings for doing so. He wanted to try a comedy. He wanted to branch out from being type-cast. He knew the movie was shite. He knew J. Lo was shite. But that's ok. After that, he dusted himself off and walked away from the rubel. Because that's the kind of guy he is- he's just SWELL, mmk???? He's a survivor, as Beyonce likes to put it. So much on those apples!!!!!!
