Yeah, I wasn't really catching the drift eithor...I think she was trying to say that it's up to the women of our society to reinforce healthy values, but first we have to position ourselves as leaders in order to do that. Isn't that what we've been trying to do for...ever? It's happening slowly, but in many sectors, the ruling males continue to play "pig in the middle" with power positions. The men don't want us to be in power, because then they'll have to modify their own behavior, which is currently rather self serving, so they dread having to give that up.
Notice how many men will say "God I hate that woman" about any strong, outspoken female?
But that's a discussion that's beyond the scope of this thread, me thinks.

BTW don't worry, Pix...I have no hard feelings toward you whatsoever. (not sure if you thought I did, or if you even cared..)

one last one,

one thing women run and have control over is this site.

its awesome that Linda Goodman and her associates managed to keep their feet dry by having nothing to do with this site.

most of whats said here should not represent linda in anyway.
especially the half faith people have in linda and her teachings. its true what she said that the path must be walked alone.one can
never can reach enlifgtenment in this cheap and phony web-site such as this one.
the true ones walk alone and will usuallyn say little. so far this site has proven to be quite pornographic and quite intolerant of people whos views differ from theirs.
moderators seem to hold a godly position. when they come around and post something, everyone just bows in reverence.

its more of a cultish, half witted web-site run by faithless fakers and intolerant moderators.
the shallowness is dry from too much sun exposure and vanity,

its a sin to be real here. its praised when you have have your head up yours in this web-site.
i once thought Succubbus was wrong about this place. but it was mr that was wrong and he or she was right.
Succubbus, right on. maybe a vampire satanist, but its better than running with faithless fakers.

C YA FAITHLESS HEARTS!

Wow, be unavailable to visit LL for a day, and look what happens!

quote:

If there were no dirty women in this world there would be no dirty men..

There are several ways to interpret this quote, but the one that jumped out at me makes it sound as though women are to blame for men's behavior.

lioneye, I'm pretty sure DD is a guy.

quote:
when have women really felt equal? never!
men are lost ladies!
its your time to step up into history!

Why waste my time with equality when I have already mastered superiority?

In my experience, men who like to treat as submissives, subordinates or subservients, women who are intelligent and articulate and who are comfortable with themselves and their choices, are sad, insecure children who don't know how to inspire love, so they try to demand respect.

Distant Drummer!!!your wrong!!you know it i know it they know it...I mean to say where else can we practice our crafts before we unleash it to the rest of the world?? OUR LINDA LUNATIC VIEWS and undoubtadley we are !!to the seemingly normal unknowing ppl on our earth, where can you say to someone 'wow were opposites'(your quote to me)and know we would be understood?? If you tried that chat up line in a nightclubb here in U.K ppl would think you were MENTAL I love it here!! It is a place to REMEMBER and try out her theorys have feed back from ppl who want to know more..and who want to share knowledge ...so just stop please....your just feeling depressed .(actually you must be if were opposites because i feel on top of the world latley)youll get better...Lay on your tummy and it will go away!!
can we get back on track as i think it may have been all my fault (it usually is) about my astrological credentials are there areas that need attention.. because I can be capable of infidelity ..but as i have no partner to play with i cant do the synastry part
Anyway I thought id just point out we women are just as capable of infidelity because of our eggs as our natal chart!! is all i really meant to say. but being the convoluted and undecided person i am i had to involve every aspect i could think of?? and then yous got me thinking about other issues.. sorry! love Carinaexxx

Nothing in this discussion is 'your fault,' carinicare.

I think it's a lively debate, personally. I love a good academic argument. And I think a lively, honest exchange is in total keeping with the spirit of Linda Goodman. And... I think we've all learned something about each other of value.

Just because I don't like a person's viewpoint, doesn't mean I don't like that person.

Now, Rock On DD! Grrrrl Power!

Lioneye~ Yeah, Distant Drummer is a man. Which is why I was like....Oooo-kay.....
And I do happen to care, and your opinion is important to me, as I appreciate you.

Distant Drummer~ I generally have a problem with 'authority' as well.... But less with people who are in positions of authority, and more a problem with people who THINK they are. Take the 'moderator' as a label off of the posts, and you will see you have just insulted one of the least judgemental, honest, sweetest, smartest people here.
I don't take kindly to that at all.
What, if you may further enlighten me, does w/e mean?

...and this is all a high-school type of conversation. Boys teasing the sore spots of ignored teenage girls, angry ignored girls bashing boys in return (but only in a group of 5). So immature...having in mind most people here are in their 30-ish even 40-ish.
Dont you have something better to talk about, like astrology for example?

(P.S. Carlo, my Virgo fella, you a closet homo? LOL you`ve been bad again, I see)

You rock and roll Trillian,

I'm still laughing your "why waste my time with equality, when I've already mastered superiority" classic and oh so Aries I think the same thing. Funny.

Lioneyes,
I admire your stance and beliefs, I used to be like that and sometimes wish I was still. Life has dealt me a different set of cards, and now I am tolerent. What I meant about leos and fawning all over them, well dear it was tacky and I should have chosen a better phrase. But lets face it a leos favorite subject is Him. As long as your talking about them, thier best qualitys come out (and we all know how cool leos are, especially at thier best) but change the subject and you soon lose thier interest. Leos are way too much work for this Aries to maintain hell if I had any extra time I'd get a pedicure. Love to you

Fair enough, Lalalinda...I agree Leos can be insufferably self centred...I'm thankfull for my Aqua moon because it tones down all that Leo energy somewhat. I know there's a danger in being too adamant about anything in life, because the universe will find a way to put it all into perspective for us. That's how I feel TODAY about the subject...who knows? Someday I may be forced to re-evalute that one. (and I gotta tell you, the idea of that scares the crap out of me)

Pix...

Trill, you have a way of summing things up that's just so slick...I'm lovin it.

Gloria, I apologize for being curt with you...I was just feeling mocked at the moment. But it really shouldn't matter what goes on behind our bedroom doors. We're cyber pals, afterall. (at least I like to think so...humor me if I'm wrong, K? I'm sensitive.) I'm a little embarressed because my proud Leo self feels like I was less than dignified. *cringe*

DD...I think you're just frustrated because you're not being received the way you intended. It happens, try not to take it so personally.

Carlo, I see you erased most of your post. Why's that?

Oh, and PPFM

Lioneye -

I've always been cool with you, and that never changed. I didn't take anything personally because your arrows missed the mark. It's NOT important that we agree or get sold on these alternative ideas. They are just discussions, and don't forget, each of us has our own astrological challenges to work out. None of us are immune to them, no matter how easy it seems to someone else.

None of us is a world onto ourselves. We are all fractals of the same cut.

I also think about AriesRocks every time I open this thread and see her name at the very beginning of it inquiring about these aspects too, lol.

AJ:

Pandering: Inflected Form(s): pan·dered; pan·der·ing /-d(&-)ri[ng]/
: to act as a pander; especially : to provide gratification for others' desires <films that pander to the basest emotions>

NOT just for prositution - think OUTSIDE of the box...LOL...to solicit a form of gratification from another either as a movie pandering to the emotional outcry of the audience or a woman trying with all her might to pander to the basic emotional gratification she may achieve from a man.

Another definition:

Etymology: Middle English Pandare Pandarus, from Latin Pandarus
1 a : a go-between in love intrigues b : PIMP
2 : someone who caters to or exploits the weaknesses of others

weakness being...either emotional gratification or to appeal to the over inflated ego of another through senseless worship in order to extract praise. LOL...

or...to appeal to a man or womans basic, primal instinct and solicit for sex.

Lioneye: No babe - YOU FUC*IN RULE:

******"Don't mind Carlo, everyone...he's only nice to women when they're being slutty and agreeing with everything he says. If you really feed his ego, he'll patronize you with compliments about what a good little worthless $lut you are. He's a closet homo, afterall, and has some serious repressed anger toward women in general.

Thanks for demonstating your true colors once again Carlo...

You ladies now see why he has so many enemies here? "*******

I almost spit my coffee out..mainly because I was thinking along the same lines.

As for open relationships: I do stand by my live and let live way of thinking. IF a person lives that lifestyle then I wish them well -because that is how they want their life to be. What I find to be pathetic is when a person subscribes to a lifestyle because it is TRENDY..".you know straight today Bi tomorrow..oh isn't this just soooo fun"

I also firmly believe that there are a few men that NEED an open relationship - not because they CANNOT be satisfied by one women but because THEY cannot satisfy one women. So rather than admit a major short -coming (LOL) they act as though they are soooooooo open minded. So they offer their mate an open relationship so that they don't have to use the excuse that they are too tired or have a headache rather than admit...they AINT got the moves. LOL....

LMAO Lioneye...I am still just Dying over that. And I knew our little king would be very "short" with me and say something very evil towards me...thus proving my point that if you do not bow down to his ego..then he will shut you out of his tiny little castle.

Jazzabel,

yeah..I was waiting for you to defend your little friend. I could care less about being ignored...I rather like it that way. Your subtle caustic words were directed towards me no? LOL....considering some of the great people you and your little buddy have attacked and chased away from this site - I am in good company. So when will the attack e-mails start LOL...I'm waiting.

I think your ****** at god for not giving you a pussy. I'm tired of being polite with you. Show your face and I'll dog collar you fast. You better show some respect.

Can anyone recommend a good psycho-therapist in Carlo's area? The guy is a menace to society in his current psychological state.

What on earth did your mommy do to you?
