quote: you refuse to relate the other person if you don't judge? ummm... ok. How about appreciate, admire, respect, high-five, and all of their opposites...
That involves the formation of a judgment as well - appreciate, admire etc.
You form judgments every day yourself. You assess people's conduct towards you and others, make judgments on people that you have met for the first time and determine if you like them or not. Opinion technically is a small part of judgment, judgment to me indicates a final decision, opinion maybe on a particular point at least. No I have not looked them up in the dictionary yet for an offiical meaning of the words. Anyway, you were very strong to pass your judgment on some political candidates and if we follow the suggestion of not to judge then let's just let all the paedophiles and murderers, fraudsters and even loose people out now! Yes Madonna has released some good songs and had some new looks that inspired in her younger days. For me, I have problem with her behaviour and her later stuff. For you to say that I have admire everything about her only and see her as a "dream pop star" instead of her actions as a human being and as a pop star flies in my face and makes feel that I am not entitled to judge. For your information, your Saturn is sitting right on my JUDGING planet jupiter and my Chiron, is widely conj my ASC and opp Moon in Libra, the sign that weighs up both sides. I have felt your Saturn bear down upon me before. Thought I'd just let you know that, I had to get it off my chest. We also have Sun/Mercury square Sun/Mercury and I have this with mum which means *** -for-tat arguing. I can't say anything more. quote: judging is so last century haha
Already addressed that issue a few posts back but I can't find the post. What you are advocating by not judging is the acceptance of an honest opinion or thought. You are eroding honesty. This is political correctness and this is what I feel you are doing here. As far as I'm concerned, political correctness is b*llshit and you are denying me the right to search my OWN truth, opinion and mental solution (judgment) - Your Saturn conj My Jupiter. Notwithstanding an increase in my blood pressure then, remember that I still love you Lara IP: Logged |

I still love you too 23... these conversations are good and in no way affect my view of you, which is of a wonderful human being with a heart of gold and 'Madonna rays of light" strewn through it. xx IP: Logged |

Enough about the judging already. EVERYONE IS RIGHT. You can argue about it in the afterlife in hell when you've been sent there for accumulating bad karma from judging. LOL.I want to talk about Mads & Guy. Apparently she's saying that he only married her for her money. Well, I'm thinking that she just married him because he has a really big **** . IP: Logged |

"Well, I'm thinking that she just married him because he has a really big ****"I don't think there's anything bad about marrying someone for the size of their "nose"... ;-) I really mean it. The "nose" is an integral part of the person, unlike money. Having said that, I do think both Madonna and Guy had multiple reasons for marrying each other, just like most people do. IP: Logged |

LanaInteresting point. The thing is that he had and has his own money. Sure, her wealth is out of the stratosphere but how much money can one person actually use? I think that some people do actually look at money and their partner's earning capacity, etc, when considering life partnerships. I have a friend who said to me recently that if she were to marry again it would definitely be for money. I nearly fell of my chair. It's not for me, and, each to their own. I'll take love over money. But would I take a big nose over money? Hmmmm.............. IP: Logged |

I wouldn't choose nose over money. How useful is his nose to me? Hmmm... Let's see... I need to eat 3 times a day. Nose, you're lucky if you get it 3x a week. Therefore, money is more useful. P.S. I am only talking about the nose, not the whole person. IP: Logged |

I always got the impression that she tried really hard at marriage. Somehow... it just didn't work out. But of course, I don't know her, I could be wrong, but it looks like it.... I don't think this is an easy decision, this divorce, well, aside from the fact she is knobbing someone else. Allegedly. It does seem like she made the compromises. And maybe she got fed up. I'm guessing. Of course. IP: Logged |

bmI'd say she compromised herself a lot to fit in. I think his quasi-aristocratic background really appealed to her and that includes her ego and the regality in which she sees herself or wants herself to be seen too. Don't know much about him. Hard to tell with him because he hasn't put himself out there for scrutiny the way she has. He seems more private. He comes out with comments that make me laugh. Apparently she is banging A-Rod. Allegedly. And for some time. There was a report some months ago about a video-tape of the two of them dating back two years ago. No wonder poor Guy didn't get it for 18 months. Allegedly. The story broke and then died the next day after it was issued that legal proceedings were in place to stop it being released/sold. The guy who filmed it tried to sell it and was open to bids. Her lawyers were right onto it. Can't fight with the Madonna machine. I'd say this marriage has been falling apart for some time. If you look at the early pics of them - they were hanging onto each other - very affectionately. The latest ones their bodies were distant even when they had their arms around each other. And one thing I never got - did you ever notice the way he held her arm in public? I would say that he was rather controlling as well. Two very strong personalities. That just makes him more intriguing. I think this divorce is the most entertaining thing Madonna has ever provided. For more than her music or sex books or clips or kisses with Britney, etc. Ironic. But, I love irony. Actually, I think it's interesting only because of him. She bores me. He's the one that I find interesting - intriguing. If it were with someone else I wouldn't be as interested. I don't usually read the celeb crap. IP: Logged |

She's a superb businesswoman. Publicity generation is only one of her talents. But music, and feminine sexuality. Well, she's not P.J Harvey. Does anyone know anything about P.J Harvey's private life? Not much, well I don't know anyway. If you open up an online paper, even a broadsheet, you will get bombarded with everything you don't want to know about the Brangelina saga. It doesn't happen with P.J, or the notoriously shy Kate Bush. Another female artist right up there in my all time favourites. IP: Logged |

Oh, yes - brilliant businesswoman. No doubts/questions there. A marketing master. Her music's not very good - and I don't care about sales figures - they are not indicative of good music. Popularity does not make something good or true or right. Just look at religion. Madonna has made some fine dance music - you can move to them - but it's not musical brilliance and there is no soul in it. Like you said - P J Harvey - music from the soul. Kate Bush - HIGHLY sensual lady. Melissa Etheridge - OMG! Listen to "Come To My Window" - the absolute raw sexuality in that - and she doesn't need to shake and show her snatch. The music and talent stand without need for any embellishment. The women I find beautiful and sexy are rather earthy - Sophia Loren, Isabella Rossillini, Audrey Hepburn. I can't think of any modern ones right now. But there are a couple. IP: Logged |

The press today is splattered with Madonna's "friends" dishing the dirt. Apparently she is upset at public reaction. That would explain why she is trying to tarnish him as a Lady Mucca type gold-digger. A miscalculation by her P.R team. Better to say nothing and keep a low profile. But why am I telling them this? They are getting paid for it, I'm getting nowt! IP: Logged |

I know a lot of PJ's songs were written about Nick Cave who she was seeing for a bit (and vice versa) and wasn't she in a relationship with the lead singer of Radiohead for a bit? I love PJ. Nice example of Libran gorgeousness.IP: Logged |
