Lenormand - Scythe - Cross - House - Snake - Bouquet
Tarot: The Universe - Knight of Swords - 10 Disks - 3 Cups - 2 Swords

According to the technique on cafe lenormand, you are supposed to match each tarot card to the lenormand card above it but I did a kind of free reading

Summary (according to technique in my book)

Scythe and bouquet to sum up the reading - positive outcome
The card at centre of issue: house. Feeling of security, maybe this means wanting more security and comfort.
In more depth: Cross and snake: lack of control or a woman carrying a burden
Subtext: (scythe/house) there are some difficulties in house/family (house/bouquet) happy house, house party or celebration

Cards 1 and 2 led up to issue. Scythe and Cross. A sudden pain, a sharp change in either pain or could be even something spiritual and important. I think it could encompass all of these things, according to your past (or what little I know of it).

The outcome: Cards 4 and 5. A happy woman. And you mentioned Q of Clubs is you so you want to be happy.

Reading alongside the tarot: The lady has completed a journey (her studies?) and should have the whole world at her feet however there is some sorrow hanging over her. This may have to do with either a man or basically some kind of sharp mental energies directed her way (I'm looking at the imagery of the tarot cards, there is the Knight (king) of Swords charging on his horse facing the lady in the middle of the Universe (world) card. 10 disks under the home could be the feeling of achievement in material matters but also the realisation that a new cycle is starting. Looks like some enjoyment and good feelings are here in the centre. Then progressing on to 3 cups, celebration, enjoyment, happy feelings under the snake (woman) this is your card the Q clubs I remember you saying to me once. Well you have got a victory after your success and hard work (very much deserved) so you deserve all the good things, no?! Yes I think so. And then finally the 2 of swords looks like the calm after the storm, and some relaxation, your mind will be put at rest. This is under the bouquet so maybe this is what you would like to feel.

Before having to check my Lenormand textbook, I figured the overall theme feels like enjoying successes, taking advantage of opportunities, of knowing what you want and striving for these goals. I was thinking of peace and some time out after all the studies but still being ambitious about work opportunities (10 disks, snake the intelligent woman). And having a good time, enjoying oneself (3 cups, bouquet). Increasing knowledge about spiritual matters (cross). Increasing home life standards and comforts, buying things for home possibly. Developing relationship with an intelligent man (wasn't sure how to interpret the Knight of Swords, court cards always tricky lol). Clearing out the old influences and bringing new ones in (scythe). Being lucky (bouquet). These were all more abstract thoughts however. The hardest cards to get a hold of were the scythe/cross and the Knight of Swords.

Obviously you have good expectations and some relief from the stress that you had.

Ok very interesting reading

You got it all right I think. I tried to see by literally combining each Leno cards with each Tarot cards.

Answer to the question :

- Scythe / universe to be fulfilled in the work with what has been achieved, "reaping the fruits of what has been sown"

-Cross / knight of swords: Have the courage to fight against adversity, the difficulties brought by a man, to be strong, to end a break.

-House / 10 corners: work yourself to find lasting stability and preserve existing material comfort. Find happiness, stability and comfort after the tests.

-Snake / cups: enjoy life, go out with friends, regain my energy, be good for oneself.

-Bouquet / 2 of swords: to overcome emotional blockages, to find a loved one ( maybe the one who has block me/his feelings) or to flourish emotionally, to be really happy and not just appearing by hiding distress and pretending that everything is well. Be at the balance between the two positions past / future ...
This one is more difficult for me...

Do I like trying exotic food (meaning, food from different cuisines)?

Can you describe the relationship between my biological parents and me?

Can you describe my partner? (the man I live with)

Remember how I said I moved about 8 months ago? Well maybe you can read about that. I wasn't sure what to expect. Maybe you can read about what has happened during those 8 months since I moved, something like that (you can rephrase the question slightly if need be). Basically about my expectations and what happened, the process.

Bear / clover: I think he is a calm man and likes to enjoy the pleasures of life (gourmand, likes to play, dance but quiet mind). Clover in my book speaks of yin and yang so I think he's a man contrasted but fairly balanced or knowing how to balance his contrasts.
Scythe / whip: He likes to work honestly and reap the rewards of his work. He may not appreciate dishonesty and try to protect himself from it.
Cloud / mountain: He can have a great professional success and / or be strong enough to be able to anticipate the material difficulties in particular. I think he has patience and endurance. Bear/clover - The bear card makes me think of his being overweight (he eats and drinks alcohol way too much). But he does do exercise so to me that's the balance there. That dynamic is correct. He refuses to dance lol. He's quite steady on the whole. Like a bear.

Scythe/whip - 100% true

Cloud/mountain - Some of this is spot on. He is professionally successful, esp re material things, yes that is very true. The endurance - he is very good at focusing. Re solitude, when he works it MUST BE QUIET. I find him very impatient because I'm the exact opposite. I'm not sure what he is in Leno. Lol I'm thinking bear but I won't argue with you.

Heart/woman: Right again. I feel very secure with him. And every time there's an argument, my tarot cards seem to say the same thing (I always doubt).

Lily/rider - He's not at all spiritual, he's a HUGE sceptic. No martial art but he loves kayaking. We are from different countries, different ethnic backgrounds yes. He used to make trips for his job but not so much now.

Was that easy or difficult to figure out? I'm trying to think about the interpretations, not sure how you reached some of those conclusions. Will need a moment...How did you get the lily/rider conclusion? I'm confused. Also the cloud/mountain.

Edit: Your description of him sounds accurate, pretty good overview of him, all things considering.

Edit: So I just thought of another question. Maybe you can try to see in what circumstances we met (I'm thinking of a couple of cards in particular are very relevant so this might be a good question).

To answer your questions:

I found this reading cards fairly fluid and simple.

I think when I'm rested interpretations come easily to me on an intuitive side to reading meanings. I think that's why I like when there are several interpretations for a card, my instint tells me what to take the best and then the consistency and logic of the cards between them and their interpretations make sense.

LOL I'm just beginning to understand how it all comes to me! I do readings only for 2 months ... It's magical for me, I love seeing that there is something bigger than us there and that there is always a potential to exploit in our connections Soul and energy.
I also think that more we read for a person better the connection with this personn will be to give good answers. But nothing is ever acquired, need work and practice reading. It is a real gift for me and I thank a lot for it

Ok now :

for lily / rider: lily in my interpretation is a pure heart and in the professional part lily loves to stand away from the slanderous / jealous people so little honest to me .. Rider is a new one that comes from far, it reminds me (I do not know why ... moutain under cloud - the card representing your partner - and I thought that it probably came from far away and therefore not from the same origin as you). Now with your explanation I can feel that lily can also be that difference of cultures and values ​​... If you like you can pick a known questions give by Magikaal in a post previous (exotic food, partner...) or her last question about her meeting circonstances with her partner and use Leno to answer... Just give your ideas, combining, to learn about interpretation all together. You have some complementatry interpretations with ours and we try too undertand more how Leno's meaning and how to use it well...

Well reading a little more difficult here for me, i have some doubt but very impatient to read you and know what it is about ...

Stork / snake: migratory bird, go to hot country and go home, move / go see someone in the distance (woman?)

Thank you for the reading. For feedback, I did end up getting admitted into the program (just last night). I knew a couple of friends who got admitted last week and I was really anxious about why I didn't hear anything yet.

I am indeed trying to study somewhere with a group of people; the program is strongly based on peer to peer learning.

Financially, I'm worried about how much housing/food will be, but I'm covered on everything else.

It's pretty simple - we ask each other questions and use our Lenormand cards to try and answer. We're not doing the yes/no questions because that's not easy for us.

We then discuss how we got the answer (show each other what cards we got). So we learn and understand more.

A few posts up (it says at 3.04 pm) I asked about 4 questions, Awaken has answered a couple, you're welcome to answer any you like, and you can give us some questions if you like.

Quick answer, will have to read your cards in more depth.

Your stork snake really blew me away, that was really good. Yes we moved to a warmer place in the same country, to near where he grew up as older child (he was born in another country).

And the reason for moving is to be close to his elderly parents who are getting frail (the ancestors). They live in the same house for about 40 years, approximately, so it is their family house. We live about 5 minutes away from his parents, same mountainous area. So yes, he traveled and is returning to the area he grew up.

Yes this landscape is mountainous, it's not like the alps or anything but I think more like big green hills or small mountains. They are green not white mountains but kind of mountains anyway.

And yes, I left my home state and moved to the 'mountain', or the mountainous area. We actually met in my home state.

He was with someone else in an abusive relationship, she abused him.

I'm not sure what the rest means, but this is what stood out to me. Well done.

Tower - House - Ship

Usually tower means separation or isolation, but I feel like I picked up more on you than your family.

I see that Tower + House can mean being separated from your family, I don't think it means in a bad, but more so on not being close to them physically unless you are just separated from them?

With House + Ship, well the ship is kinda easy, it means moving away from someone or you moved away from your family? Physical distance?

I see that you're separated and far from them?

Yes I have to read the cards more in depth ... I think that as for the tarot card I have to trust my cards when they go out and try to understand the meanings of each one. Since there were a lot of cards to study I was a bit lacking in confidence ... It's a good thing for me to learn not to be afraid of "the unknown"
For the speard I do a little with my intuition according to the moment ... I had some readings with 5 cards so as the question seemed vast to me I started on 5 cards. Then with the first draw I thought I needed more information and I kept pulling the cards from the top of my package and I placed them where I was attracted to place them by order of Priority ... Then I read the cards one by one from the first draw and then like spread 5 cards for combining. After I did the same thing between 1st and 2nd draw and I left the cards, as they made more sense, combining them for interpretation in the order of my intuition that came ... So a little Traditional spread method and some intuitive method: D
I'm beginning to understand that when I make a draw no matter how I do things, there's no rule. If I feel good to do it like that, I listen to the cards that jump and I think I'm just receiving a message, without intervening and wanting to master the process, everything is done very well by itself ... So thank you for all sharing reads that allows me to see and understand all this, to gain confidence (especially with the Leno) even when the energies are a little low But still better after the rest!
