I think you must have my posts mistaken for someone Else's,
I said NOTHING negative about Muslims.
I posted over and over that I wasn't anti- Muslim. I called Muslims my brothers and sisters!
I am going to say this one last time,
I DO NOT have any issues with the Muslim people, I think they are some of the most beautiful people on earth.
I do have an issue with "Extremists Islamic leaders" ONLY extremists- that harm the Muslim people with their violent extremest point of view.
I also take issue with ANY leader that holds an extremest point of view, not just Islam.
I have said that I don't believe the Arab world is all to blame for the violence in the Middle East, I don't feel that Israel is entirely innocent. I also know all about the questionable foreign policies regarding the middle east and yes, I have questions! about some of them, particularly policies regarding Arab nations.
I will never support terrorism or oppression No matter who is doing the dirty deeds, and I know that many nations have had their fair share of mad men for leaders, I would never single out only Islam.
I don't blindly follow our leaders here, I have questions regarding many issues, but I'm proud that I get to ask those questions- because I live in such a wonderful country.
Yes, I love my country, even when I don't agree with the Presidents policies, I do respect that he is holding office. I also respected former President Clinton when he was in office-even during the scandal. I even voted for him first time out...

I have been looking through many of these threads and am shocked at the childish nature of some of the posts. Extremism at any level, for-goes, the use of common sense!
How readily We play into the hands of division seeking power mongers! How hard would it be to look at both sides of an issue and reach a fair conclusion? Not hemmed in by political ideologies, but trusting good old fashioned common sense. and then PLEASE! Respect the beliefs of another individual soul. We are all learning, making mistakes and readjustments as we go. I feel- remember, not carved in stone! Any President in our country has become nothing more then a puppet, I'm not sure WHEN the last true leader held office.
I'm very saddened by all of the anger and bitterness toward each others beliefs. Unity!!! What a beautiful dream...

You see, I don't just single out Islam.
I just have a problem with extremism at any level. I think it hinders the Human Race and is down right scary!

Trying to have a civil conversation with Mirandee will never work. Posting your actual posts, posting facts and countering her lies with proof also will not work.

Her favorite tactics, much like the tactics of Rainbow, are to incite then cut & run while pouring the Ketchsup over them as Eleanore pointed out. I have made no bones about my calling names from insinuating someone needed to wear a drool cup or calling someone insanely jealous after they continuously posted "she is so full of herself" after I was called on the carpet to post my accomplishments. Keep in mind this went from thread to thread with her almost lurking to post right after me with some childish remark.

Time and time again, they will twist your words or make blanket statements "Pidaua is anti- Muslim but you will never find a post because she edited them all".

First off you won't find any posts because I never said anything disparaging about the Muslim religion, but in a statement such as the one above, proof cannot be found.. as they will just say I ran through them and edited them. LOL...

As I have said before, Mirandee and Rainbow will willingly defend anyone on the left calling someone a wh*ore or b1tch but call them anything and you are the worlds worst human being and a Neo-Con.

No one has attacked DD on her being Muslim but we have aggressively questioned Islamic extremists and how they represent Muslims. But Mirandee, in her infinite wisdom has deemed any questioning of Islamic terrorists or asking DD to defend what she posts is tantamount to racism. Hmmm... so when her dear friend Rainbow posted a picture of Christ hanging on the cross with Bush's face over it, that was okay? How about the next picture with Christ at the Last Supper, hands open in a forgiving gesture and once again, Bush's face super-imposed over it?

Her answer when I voiced my opinion against it? Basically, it was along the lines of "get over it, God is laughing right now and I know Jesus thought it was funny".

So, Mirandee knows all. She knows what Christ wants, what God wants, that our true intent concerning Islamic terrorists is to bash on all Muslims, that WE make her and her friends have to call names and that they are above reproach.

As far as apologies, I have made many and several to Rainbow. Soon after an apology is said, it is right back to the 5 year old child tactics of answering a post with a stupid "SO WHAT" in flashing lights.

Again....

That picture was indicative of the main philosophy of a few here we have on the left. They are but the poor defenseless kitties in the world and the less than 10 of us Conservatives (or any one that questions their posts) are the big meanie German Shepards trained to kill.

It is a sentiment that is getting quite old and I have a feeling that many Knowflakes can see right through that BS.

Mirandee wanted this to stay in FFA, most likely because many baseless allegations were made towards many of us Conservatives and against Independents. Snippets of our posts were posted with the intent to slander our names and ruin our reputations with either new Knowflakes or Knowflakes that do not frequent GU by giving only one side of the story and using that term "Racist".

I think it is that type of subversive behaviour that is absolutely worse than calling someone a gutter-snipe troll.

Your post here was pointed out to me by someone else otherwise I would not have known about it as I stated I was not going to continue on with this thread because it was an argument going nowhere just as the KS threads were so I have not been following the posts.

I may have gotten you mixed up with someone else. That is entirely possible. Having just read your post and what you had to say it is obvious that I have misjudged you and for that I sincerly apologize.

It seems from what you said that we are in agreement regarding Muslims being our brothers and sisters. We are also in agreement regarding extremists of any type, nationality, or religion. In my case it is also just plain people who have an extremist way of thinking in black and white terms when it comes to seeing issues and other people and the world in general and who stubbornly and sometimes, violently resist any differing opinion.

I was not ignoring you, Charlotte. I was ignoring this thread. Glad it was pointed out to me though and I like your thinking.

You are right, AG, it was not for anyone else but you. And if someone on the Right had posted it Eleanore and everyone else on the Right would be laughing their a$$ off.
