The Claim was made because someone had challenged my background about writing. I posted in response to a different knowflake about my accomplishments.

Rainbow decided to jump in and bash me on those accomplishments and then turned the entire conversation to me having a big head, being full of myself, being arrogant etc... then she came up with the title "Barney Fife", a character that is loathsome, especially in Rainbows eyes.

I am sick and tired of this going back and forth with someone that won't read a damn post and understand the content.

If YOU or anyone else challenges a person to prove who they are and prove their background- don't become a jerk when they do it.

Rainbow slips right back into her Martyr complex again and again when things start to look bad for her.

She cannot accept responsibility for her actions and blames her calling someone names on the other person making her angry, she even blames her Mars placement for her anger.

Guess what folks, if you are going to call someone a name- own up to it, don't be a coward and hide behind the lie that THEY MADE ME DO IT.

Don't call someone a lowlife characters name and say that is not name calling.

I was responsible for the safety of over 500 animals at the large East Coast research University.

You may have played Mother Goose, that's great. I write grants so that teachers will become highly qualified in their content area, for poor rural school districts that can't write their own grants. I direct the ed services agency to provide much needed training in Science, Math, Writing and Reading. Before that I wrote the entire county Emergency Response plan in the case of a biological, chemical or natural event.

So no... I never cared about getting "face" time. Being an actor, musician or famous artist means nothing to me. Being able to provide for my community or to make the lives better or safer for people is what matters.

I don't get awards, TV time or anything else and I DON'T CARE..

Maybe that is the difference, I don't gauge my accomplishments on how many people clap when I enter a room. I am happy to be behind the scenes or in front when I am working on behalf of my causes / educators / science...

When I was 16 I had the chance to join a modeling agency- after talking with my family I said no. The glamour never tempted me- science did.

I dreamed of discovering a cure for a disease.. not seeing my face plastered on magazines or having a fan club.

Good Riddance... I am sure this is something that will make many of the leftests blame me as well. You already have DD the anti-American, terrorist supporter on your side, let's wait for the usual crew.

No hope that anything will ever change around GU because the only people who ever get banned from LL for name calling are the liberals who do it like VL or TP as you all call her. Randall, being a Republican Neo-con himself seems to feel it is okay for his people to do it but not the liberals. It's "free speech" when they do it but he does not seem to have that same regard for "free speech" for VL or liberals.

That being the case, Elanore, why hasn't Pidaua or Jwhop ever been banned for their behavior? Why wasn't Pidaua banned for calling Rainbow a "dribbling old hag?" Even our Constitutional right to free speech does not imply that people have to put up with verbal abuse. Calling people names and personally attacking their character IS NOT free speech. It is verbal abuse and no one should have to put up with that on a daily basis.

I do not hate Pidaua, in fact, Pid can be when she wants to be, a very nice person and a very caring and compassionate person. I have never questioned her intelligence. I admire her direct manner of speech as I also admire that in DD and Rainbow, in you, Eleanore, and in Isis. In other areas of LL Pidaua often seems to be an entirely different person than she is at GU. It just seems that when the discussion is politics it brings out the worse in Pidaua.

Randall pays the bills and he can run his site anyway he wants but a site that allows these personal attacks and name calling with only willy nilly banning is going to continue to attract a certain type of person who goes online to sites with the intention of causing trouble and disrupting discussions. That does not make for anything less than a toxic, negative environment. People, unless they enjoy that type of thing with all the arguing and drama, will eventually leave a site like that. Myself, I intentionally avoid shows on television such as Jerry Springer because it is not something I care for and it says a lot about our society here in America that the Jerry Springer show and other shows of that type are so popular.

To get to the point already, however, like someone else here pointed out ... racism relates to race, not religion. So THERE WENT your entire racist argument bull.

Further, if you'd like to argue that DD is being "attacked" for being of a certain religion, please show us the direct quote where somebody said something along the lines of, "DD, you are just a [insert negative adjective here] because you are [insert religion here]."

Nobody, as far as I can see, personally insulted DayDreamer based entirely upon her choice of faith. There people here, and over the world, who have negative opinions of the Muslim faith. There is nothing illegal about that. However, everyone you are trying to bash here has clearly stated that their problems lie, not inherently within the faith or within the majority of the people of that faith, but rather with the terrorists who hide behind that faith and commit atrocities in its name. And there is absolutely nothing bigoted or racist about that statement.
