Oh and I just re-read your post and ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I don't think Dick is attractive in a "romantic" sense at all. Or even attractive at all as far as "handsome" type attractiveness if I really think about it. I would hang out with him any day though. And I respect him. And I don't take as much offense to him as I do to other people's garbage.
I also don't think it's "typical Cancer", I think it's typical Scorpionnnnnn AC. Not to be confused with Scorpiooooooooo.

hehe Dick and Romantic that is funny
oooo baby, your thighs are so fat....

I am also certain that he doesn't actually think that what's-her is a bad mother and could care less about anyone's religion or sexual orientation. He is just burning it down.

I'm sitting here watching it, and I have to still disagree. Eric told Danielle how it was, and he was accurate in what he said. Dick went WAY over the line on multiple occasions. I don't think it's right to gloss over that. You acted like other people's bad attributes are now being shown or are going to be shown because of Dick, but I don't see that. People will be who they are, but it won't be a result of Dick, and they obviously won't be as bad as Dick, because people don't act that way as adults. Dick is the person you don't raise your kids to be.

The side story of Dick and his daughter is nice, but I see it as an extension of Dick's messed up personality. I can't really gauge Danielle's intelligence yet due to her inability to communicate when she's confronted, but either way she cut off contact with the man for some reason. That doesn't speak well of him, even if his attempts to rectify things now does.

I base my Cancerian comment on my experience. They're button-pushers as well. They find whatever will set you off emotionally, and they exploit it when they're mad at you. Cancers are my opposite, and I've fallen for a few Cancerian girls. I also worked with a Cancer guy who got upset with me for a while, and he'd press my buttons intentionally as well.

I'm now concerned about Capricorn-girl, Jessica. She seems so easily manipulated.

You know I just realized that you and I like the people who are closest to our own signs. You like the Cancer and Leo. I like the Aqua, Aqua, Capricorn who team up with the Pisces.

Of course you have to disagree Well, that's ok.

Danielle can communicate just fine when she isn't trying to put on a dramatic Leonine show at the same time she is manipulating the House.

I think the atmosphere Dick grew and grows in (his choice as ScorpioN) is the problem with his personality. And I can see a lot of his good points in Danielle, and also her issues due to Daddy's abusive mouth and embarrassing rude behavior. That's why I thought she might be a Capricorn at first because she was so quiet and reserved and "perfect". She tried to do things by the books instead of walking in Daddy's rocker footsteps. I can also see her learning to respect her Dad now that she sees how effective his mannerisms can be - in cut-throat situations that may not appear often enough in "real life" to warrant or excuse Dick's behavior, but are happening right now in the "Game" of "Big Brother".

Danielle is strange when she's confronted -communication wise. It's like she shuts down. I don't know if it's just too much emotion or what. Could be a programmed response from dealing with Dick's intensity, but I'm not sure. When she's calm she's fine.

I'm not sure I understand your comment about her respecting or coming to respect Dick's mannerisms in cut-throat situations.

I like how they had that electric guitar sound when Dick ended the veto meeting.

I wish they would show what Dustin is doing that's so "shady." He couldn't have made a deal with Dick and Danielle, because they don't have enough power to save him, and they wouldn't save him over Dick. He's obviously not working Jen or Zack, otherwise Zack wouldn't have had that dinner with Jessica... Ah, they're doing a whole bit on Dustin now. And now Jessica's saying that Dustin was aligned with Dick and Danielle, which still doesn't make sense. And now Dustin is gone.

I MISSED IT!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH

So, is Dustin really gone?? I'm sorry and this is not directed at you but...

AHHHH
HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHHA Oh, that is too much.

No!!!! You must have missed it!!!!!!!! Jen planted that little seed in Jessica's mind. THAT is what I was talking about with Jen being Dick's lackey. Then Jessica turned on her "best friend" immediately when Eric tried to "give her the silent treatment" as per "America's" orders. AH HA, I (America) am a kick ass Big Brother player. I better start watching so I can send out more vibes to influence America. lol This is like having my own favorite football team or something. So, Danielle and Dick are still in the house, eh? And you say they don't rival Will and Boogie hehe

I am so bummed I missed it.

They also play electric guitar sounds and tunes when Dick marches outside to kick some mental ass or other similar situations. It's cool that you noticed that too, my musician friend!!!
ooooo I bet there is one on tonight!! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I can't believe you missed it either!! It was exciting!

Yeah, Dustin's gone. They showed Joe commenting on it, too. Joe was saying that people are starting to see Dustin's more arrogant side, which is true. Dustin was getting arrogant. He probably would have stayed, but America made Eric vote Dustin out, so that's why that worked that way. Of course Dustin knew it was Eric who changed his vote, because the pisces girls wouldn't have. Eric didn't let on about being America's Player in his farewell video this time, which was smart. Dustin will be the first juror in the sequester house.

Eric DID act as if it shouldn't have happened in his farewell video, but he should have probably recognized that Dustin would know that the Pisces wouldn't go back on their vote. It was completely obvious it was Eric. Dustin might have been counting on Jen or Zack, but Zack agreed to do whatever Jessica wanted, and Eric talked her into booting Dustin.

How idiotic can Jessica be, thinking that Dustin was working with Dick and Danielle? It wouldn't make sense to ask to go up on the block TWICE if he was their team mate. He asked to go up on the block with Dick initially (instead of Danielle), and then when Dick used the veto to save Danielle, he offered to go up on the block again.

Eric is seemingly now onboard with America. I think he realizes he can't do both. He can't follow his own lead as well as America's, so he's decided to get on board.

The possibility of romance between Eric and Jessica was put out there by Julie Chen. She asked Jessica about it privately when Jessica was alone in the HoH bedroom. Jessica was non-committal, but they did show a couple things that suggested maybe there was a little something to it... but then with the way Jessica can change her mind about someone on a dime, who knows?

Dick and Danielle as good as Dr. Will and Mike Boogie? Oh no. You'd have a tough time selling me on that idea.

That electric guitar thing is pretty cool. If I could live in my own fantasy-land I would certainly precede myself with my own theme music. That would be awesome. Just like the movies... well, some movies. John Travolta in Broken Arrow got his own theme music as the bad guy in that movie.

Oh, it's interesting tonight. I remember Dick and Eric talking, but I didn't perceive it as an alliance. In the intro tonight, they acted like it was. It's interesting that it's a pair of astrological opposites: Leo/Aquarius and Cancer/Capricorn.

That was weird that Danielle's new HOH room had a letter from Nick, and nothing, no pictures even, of her boyfriend.

I know... BB is playing that Nick thing for all it is worth...

I wonder if they are planning to pull him back in as a twist? Ratings ratings ratings and if Danielle's boyfriend offs himself, well they probably got him to sign a waiver with small print for that 3 minute spot he did where he talked about what he thought of Danielle hanging out with Nick at the very beginning so they will just have to wait for their karmic spanking. Makes me feel bad for even watching and assisting the show for staying on another season...
but just for a minute.
Danielle made the choice to go on the show, but at the same time...

I'm guessing Dick was the one who applied and got noticed with his name dropping and celeb pal's like Dilana etc and they just needed a relative to use for the "twist" and found the Danielle/Dick storyline as interesting as America does.

That's RIGHT, Eric... the train is leaving with or without you. hehe He IS smart. And looks so good in women's clothing hehe Well, he is a good sport and smart so I have never disliked him, I just disliked his alliance. I think he knows he can't get into anything with Jessica or it will just cause him trouble in the future of the game.

Ok, I have more thoughts on all of this but I have created two posts now to you, in the last week or so, that I thought I sent but then walked away from to do other things and never came back to them and then just closed the LL tab or entire browser.

I remember something like that in an earlier season but I thought they all grumped too much about it because the person got a "break" from the mental pressure of the house etc, so I didn't anticipate them doing it again. I hope they do though

Oh, so I decided that the "America" vote for who Eric should give his stuffed "Wubby" to needs to be Dick. That would be hilarious. Jessica would be TOOOOOOOO easy.

I hope "America" is as silly and twisted as me....

It's two minutes until it's over. I think Amber's 'vision' may come true!

Did you watch On The Lot? A nice guy won. Good for him.

Now onto Flipping Out. This guy's a trip to watch. I think he's a Virgo. Do you watch it? EDIT: Good Lord! He just spent $70 each to get his two dogs professional massages.

Yep, Amber's Pisces vision. I didn't doubt her Pisces vision one bit! Crying because God wouldn't do exactly what she wanted was a little much. Especially with both of them doing it in tandem and discussing how they use their prayers to ask God to let them win each competition. It would be funny if they won the whole thing though. Can't you see the headlines now? ROTFL

GOD DEFEATS EVEL

I DID watch On The Lot. I was looking forward to that one from the first time I heard a commercial about it. Yah, Steven Spielberg is getting up in years and needs to pass on the torch. I knew America would vote for Mr. Living the Dream (getting to support his family doing his Dream) and I really like him and actually I am glad he won since he would have a harder time doing it on his own... but my favorite was the guy who was 4th runner up. Was he Zach or Alex? One was third runner up and one was 4th. My favorite was 4th.
I did like the #1's Guy In Dress film though. The Yes Men. And the one that rips off Dreamworks lamp thing was cute.

Oh, why oh powers of the Universe is Carrie Fisher a judge on that show? They actually let her direct films? Does she drink or do waaaaaay too many good drugs or something? She is seriously and unfortunately stupid.
And I really WANT to like her because I still have Leia love.
I bet THAT show will be back for at least one more season and season two will be the best season. We will get to see the most inventive and original directors. I hope Fisher isn't a judge next time so the cool directors actually get through!!!! Thank goodness for the guest-judge directors!

America sometimes needs a Simon Cowell personality to tell them what is good, especially when it is something they aren't used to yet.

I couldn't agree more on the Carrie Fisher bit. She was a terrible, terrible judge, and Garry Marshall wasn't all that much better (his sister taking over for a week was alright). I think they should definitely get better judges next time around. I think they were mistaken in thinking that they had to get people with recognizable names. Simon Cowell wasn't a well-known name before AI, and America only had superficial trouble with him.

Usually the nice guy doesn't do too well in competitions, so that was a nice change. I wasn't really cheering for anyone in particular, but I'm happy with him winning. His lamp was reminiscent of PIXAR's logo. It comes out, and jumps on the 'I' until it's squished, and then it turns toward the audience.

Have you seen the preview yet for BB tomorrow?? Go back through the thread where I said Jen was going to flip out and go Bull in a China Shop on Dick's ass eventually... hehe

it's comin' around

Yes, I did see one commercial for it, and yes it did look as if Jen and Dick were having words. Should be fun!

Any favorites for Last Comic Standing?

Crap! Missed Top Chef. I saw the last three minutes. Just long enough to see who got the boot.

I don't watch either of those but I am looking forward to the one with the kids running the town...

I don't watch any of the chef/cooking reality shows. Oh, and I watched part of the comic one last year but haven't watched this year.

I usually don't watch anything on Wednesdays (well, except letting lame re-runs play after 10pm of Seinfeld and Scrubs etc if I am on the net) but I did watch the Power of Ten yesterday. Its ok. I have to watch the one with the two girls from BB for sure.

Tue and Thursday are my favorite tv nights because of Big Brother. Survivor is usually on Thursday too, so Thursday has always been my don't call me, don't bother me, I'm hanging out with my friend the television night. Fridays are lame, Mondays are usually too but I think there has been something.. oh yah, that Age of Love was on Monday for a while but now its over so Monday is back to nothing. Survivor always begins near my birth date so I consider it a present. But then, I get nothing done when Survivor and Idol are on so its good that there is nothing on lately.

Tonight tonight ! Can't wait to see.

Oh, I take back what I said about Dick not being attractive. With his hair wet and slicked back, instead of up on his head like Bride of Frankenstein, he is actually quite sexy.
You don't get to see Jen wet though... hehehe

Ok, I have to watch Office Space... now that is my non-reality show. And Scrubs.

Oh my God! Wait. What did she do with the cigarettes? I missed it. Shouldn't she be disqualified immediately for breaking the rules by eating?

Oooh...that was episode with Dick was tense.

The end was surprisingly smooth. I can't believe the Power of 10 girls didn't show a tell as to how one of them did.

Yep, they must have a contract to keep it hush hush. I wonder when it will air? They probably won't tell right away. Just get people to watch Power of 10 a couple weeks in a row until they start getting annoyed that they haven't shown BB girls yet and then tell when the episode is playing. Good marketing.

Jen took them into the food pantry room and opened the cartons and twisted up the packs and then opened some packs and broke as many cigs as she could in a couple minutes time. Her voice over said something about her pouring bleach on them, although they didn't show that because Eric said to Dick (outside on his smoking bench) "Do you think she'll go for your cigarettes?" and Dick said, "That's just what I was thinking" and you could tell he thought he might have been being paranoid when he originally thought it, but as soon as he knew that the thought crossed Eric's mind too Dick took off into the house like a shot and sure enough, found his stash missing.
They never showed him find the cigs in the pantry though, covered with bleach or anything. But they did show him find Jen's clothes everywhere and hide them in HOH room. He also came out smoking cigs so I wondered if he found the crumpled ones. It's hard to destroy cigarettes by twisting the pack. The packs are made to last and keep the product from getting crushed or broken. And BB might have stopped her before she poured bleach on their floor or something. That might be why they didn't show it. oooo live feeeeeeed boo hoo
I kept wondering if BB would replace his cigs and thinking they would pretty much have to, because it would basically be criminal damage to property (although again, I'm sure they have waivers like crazy).
Yeah, it was tense, absolutely. Jen was flipping out when she was trying to take the cigarette out of Dick's hand. He said, "I've had girlfriends like this before". hehe More like he has incited this kind of insane anger and hurt in women before. No doubt. He was probably enjoying all of her emotion... and the rush from the combat. Dick kung fu master and protector of the cigarette... wwaaaaaaaaa hIIIIYA
Dick will miss Jen when she is gone.

I saw Jen in the pantry room with them, and the bottle of bleach. Strangely, I just missed seeing her actually carry out her plan. I don't like that they left it a mystery. I want to find out what happened to his cigarettes.

I thought Jen might actually get violent with Dick. I wouldn't put it past a Bull girl to go after someone. I still get an Aquarian vibe from her. I wonder if there's anything to that idea of mine.
