Did you watch the Power of 10? I'm surprised that Amber swept Danielle in the elimination.

I did! I missed the first few minutes but I was thinking BB was one so I turned it on just in time for the first question! I almost ran to the computer to remind YOU (for later), but you always remember and I was sick of the computer! Yah, too bad we didn't get to see the tearful reunion of Danielle and Nick.
For all we know she was crying that her boyfriend wasn't there instead and they only clipped the part where she said it would be great to see Nick to advance their agenda. She said something about the worse part being that she didn't know who was going to be there and there were a lot of cuts during that too, right after they cut to her every second wiping tears away after they showed Nick speak on camera. I bet Danielle was so nervous about what she would say to her boyfriend and if he would even come etc etc that it messed up her game.
I mean, it could go either way, but the cuts always make me suspicious. In the diary room, I mean. They just take clips of a few words here and there and run them together to manipulate the scene for best dramatic effect.
She could have spent ten minutes crying that she didn't get to see her boyfriend and then after she calmed down they said, "So, you are didn't want to see Nick?" so she said, "Oh no, I mean, it would have been really great to see Nick, but I just would have rather seen "Bob" because I really miss him!" and all we got to hear was: "it would have been really great to see Nick" and then they cut to something else she answered to another one of their questions.

Awwww, America is a sucker for romance. Eric didn't have to kiss Dick. I thought it was funny that he even anticipated that America would choose Dick instead of Jessica. Funny. Smart guy hehe.

I find the Zach element of the Eric and Jess story interesting. It would seem it was rude and mean/cruel of Zach to lay on Jess on the bed right next to Eric when he KNOWS how Eric feels about her (and Eric totally flipped out)... but the whole set up before he did it had him saying how Eric wasn't doing anything and he didn't have any game etc, but after Zach did that, Eric finally was inspired to action. Zach doesn't seem to have any actual interest in Jess and you would think Eric would want Zach out after his hurt feelings etc (you saw his face, right?) but tonight, Eric was talking about America wanting Amber out and him being cool with it and didn't mention he wished America would pick Zach.
Anyway, I think Zach didn't have any bad intentions and Eric seems to know it for some reason, even though BB painted it differently.
Is that how you saw it? What do you think?
And the side-line about Danielle being annoyed with Dad and her saving Amber last time and then having fun on the trip etc, and now Jess is thinking clearly enough to want to get rid of Dick or Danielle (which I don't want, but it would be the SMART thing to do) but Eric thinks/knows America will just be playing "against" him if he does THAT, but he can't tell Jess and she senses he is hiding something but doesn't know him well enough to trust him all the way yet... hehehe For the first time, things are actually up in the air and not obvious to me. They aren't showing something... ohhhh live feed....

The very first season of Survivor was awesome because the producers didn't try to manipulate everything to create more drama so it was almost like you were there and witnessing the interactions. Now they try to mislead the audience so it isn't TOO obvious and to make it more "exciting" and it becomes even more predictable because they are trying so hard to make it UN-predictable. Lame.

You could be right about the Danielle thing. I think we're all still wondering what's up there (with her boyfriend and all). I think her boyfriend might have bailed on her.

I think Eric was peeved at Zach laying on Jess, but I don't think he'd continue to harbor it as a permanent resentment. Astrologically, it's Aqua and Aries. They generally get along pretty well. Zach's also Eric's gaming buddy. I didn't think it was weird for Eric to listen to him.

I think we're starting to see the Capricorn come out, and it makes me happy. She was right to want to backdoor Danielle. Danielle could very well win HoH next time, and as you heard she's up for breaking the alliance.

I had to watch online. They didn't show it last night because of football. Amber went home. They didn't show it, but apparently Zach won HoH.

Ohhh, no, they stopped the show when they were sliding around in some sort of squirting butter down bowling alley type lanes while pouring tiny tea cups of tea into their own individual giant multiple gallon containers. It was supposed to be 7 miles at that precarious pace, which was supposed to last for many hours. Zach toughed it out, eh? Cool. They will say on Sunday night prolly, but it would have been nice to see the live feed of the whole competition. So, you can go and watch past episodes online if you have a fast enough connection? That's cool
I don't remember what they do on Sunday episodes, I guess Zach will get his room and pictures etc.

Yeah, and they showed Eric's ex girlfriend and now that he is a television star she is no longer "off again" but wants to be "on again". hehe I wonder how Jessica is going to react when she finds out the whole "wubby" story and giving was just a BB joke. Then she will watch the show and see girlfriend girl keeping the faith.
I'm lucky I don't have live feed. I wouldn't get anything done!

Awwwww I'm in love with Eric and Jessica now.

See what I mean about Eric hating Zach? Eric really likes Jess, and Zach crossed the line.

Dick attacking Zach (the replay) wasn't as fierce as usual. I think he is starting to look at his behavior more since Danielle has pulled away some again.

I'm glad Eric told Jess the truth about the votes. He was as completely honest as he is allowed to be while still remaining there on the show in the house. Good for him. Jess seems to trust him still, I hope she can keep the faith. Things are going to get cut-throat in these last few weeks like they do every year.

I was wondering about him getting that phone call. I knew Jess would be thinking, "what? does he want to call his girlfriend or something?" hehe It was sweet when he gave her the call and she got to talk to her military brother. Those rare Capricorn tears. Very nice. awww

Those two are totally bonded now. I bet ex gf at home is facing some harsh reality at this moment.

Sorry I didn't write. I did watch.

Yeah, you can watch the regular episodes for free online. I did notice that part of the video on the one I watched seemed to be cut out, but I don't think the missing piece was that important to the storyline.

I didn't get the impression that Eric's home girlfriend wanted to be on again. I thought she just admitted to getting a little jealous sometimes. Maybe I wasn't watching carefully enough.

I also liked that Eric told Jessica about the votes, even though it may make her more skeptical of him.

I didn't really understand why Eric was so upset around the phone call. He really looked a bit torn up. Was that just exhaustion from the HoH comp, or what?

Bad show for Eric and Jessica, but Eric's imitation of Dick was hilarious.

Eric really screwed Jessica by getting Amber voted out. It would seem that Zack would obviously be a better contender for HoH than Amber.

I loved the show tonight and I had so much to say, but now I've forgotten it!!!

Just stopped by LL for some late night wisdom while I listened to some music.

Oh, the gf part... she said she would just have to wait until he got home to see if the stuff with Jess was all strategy.

And the other thing...
yeah he was exhausted but he also was thinking about giving the call to Jameka so she could talk to her kid(s) I thought. Since Jameka couldn't win HOH for so long and couldn't get any pictures of her kids etc.

Since when does Jameka have kids?! Am I that unobservant?

Looking at last night's show, and the replay of Eric feeling so bad, I think he was feeling terrible for having lost. He was obsessing about what was to come, and it looks like he was right in thinking it would be baaaaaaad!!

Danielle was quite the showman at the Veto ceremony. Really showing her Leo-ness.

The reaction to Janelle was pretty awesome. Watching everyone's reactions. Both the blonds adored her, of course. Eric...well maybe he's got a Sag Ascendant or something, because he really put his foot in his mouth. Watching Dick was hysterical, but also kind of sweet.

Do you think Eric and Jessica are over now that Jessica realizes that Eric screwed her game over?

your Eric comment made me smile
yeah, I love Janelle, that was all great
I think Jessica knows Eric is sincere so she thinks maybe he is stupid now instead and she isn't liking that. She is treating him different. How many real life weeks are left
she will be fine once she knows the truth but will the damage be done
dunno
yeah dick and janelle

Oh Zack's a turd. He had perhaps the ONLY opportunity to get rid of one of the Donatos, and he blew it. If Zack had taken either Eric or Jameka off the block, Dick would've had to put his daughter up.

EDIT: Oh, Dick and Danielle got a two-fer. Lord. Eric screwed up bad.

I TOTALLY said the same thing. I was actually saying out-loud: this is IT! This is where you can do it, Zach! If you don't do it now, you don't DESERVE to win! Yep, I knew it too. He was just scared of Dick. He thought, what if I remove J or E and they don't vote Danielle with me and then the D's are still left? Total bonehead move. Eric would have voted D out in a millisecond.
Yah, "America" screwed Eric. We didn't want "us"/Eric to win... we wanted Dick or Danielle to win. hehe Eric and Jess grew on me a little though so I wouldn't have minded seeing them fight it out.
I still think it would be funny as heck if Dick and Jameka were final two. The eternal struggle of good vs evil *lightening crash* hehe
They could really play it up. Well, I guess my question about how many weeks are left is answered.
Survivor on the 20th This one looks brutal.

I'm surprised Eric never questioned whether he should act as America's Player. I think he would have done much better taking Jessica's lead, than he did taking America's. I know at some point I would have asked myself, "Do I want $40k or half a million dollars?" Speaking of which, I'm surprised that he only completed four of his tasks. Seemed like a lot more than that. Didn't he do all the weird stuff: vandalizing, mimiking, the giving the toy away, the kiss, etc? Plus, he seemed pretty successful at getting people nominated for eviction. I don't know.

I'm glad they did that retrospective on last Thursday's show in order to show all that happened.

...but now Zack is talking to Jameka about how he wants one of the Donatos gone. Sounds like POV's remorse (instead of buyer's remorse). He's made things harder on himself by waiting I think.

His conversation with Danielle is hilarious. Danielle's so smug. I think she'd drive me nuts. And now she's calling him smug. Wow. Honestly, they'd probably both drive me nuts, but Danielle's immaturity factor wouldn't set well with me.

I think if I were Zack I'd point out that if either of the Donatos won HoH, then he would be on the block without a doubt, and he wouldn't have any guarantee whatsoever.

I thought the same thing about Danielle. Too funny. They were getting a little over confident. We here in America don't like that. hehe Not meaning ME here, but hey, I WAS thinking that Danielle and Dick were done with their "pushy" manipulative game. I was proud of Zach. I was thinking HECK YEAH! and THAT'S RIGHT! and I even got a shimmer of mmm, oh yes, that's right Venus, that's an ARIES MAN there, hehe. It only blinked in and out about twice though. Zach hasn't acted with much Mars energy this game. But his explanation for that was honest enough. I love how he is simply being honest and it is just stopping Dick and Danielle cold. Dick is so steamed he can hardly keep his lid on. Its cracking me up. hehe Dick wouldn't respect Zach if he didn't do it this way anyway. He is just steamed beyond belief because Zach slipped by his smart/stupid person radar. Zach knows WHAT'S GOING ON. hehe
I actually like his plan now. He avoided being targeted at just the right time. The only flaw in his plan now might be that the "Good" Jameka will stick by "her Word" and cut her own throat because Dick tells her too. She did agree by "her Word" after all. I did catch that Dick tried to get her to swear on the Bible and she smoothed right by that by saying, I don't have to swear on the Bible, my word is good...
So, she sold her soul to Rock n Roll, uh, I mean, Dick... so let's see if she has the guts to make her Stand.
This is going to be great. I can't miss any of these shows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, should be over pretty quick now I think.

I wonder if Jameka told Zack about her agreement.

Aries are at their best when they take the time to be logical. They love strategy games as well. If the Donatos had ever watched Big Brother they'd know that flying under the radar is an effective strategy as is staying out of HoH. That's why both him and Jameka are there at the end.

I had to watch Tuesday's show online. I started an improv class that night.

Zack and Jameka failed...as expected. Jameka went home, if you didn't catch it. They finally showed the jury house where everyone's getting along splendidly except for the tension between Jess and Eric.

I hope it's not the Donatos as the top two.

I do fantasize about the Donatos versus Chill Town.

Did Will and Mike actually make the top two? I don't remember what happened there. Thought Mike went home and Will won?

In the All-Stars Mike boogie won. He was top two with his showmance. Will won the first one they were on together, or maybe two? Did they say going into All Stars that Will was the only one to win two? I can't remember. They both won at least once each.

Wow! Tonight's HoH was brutal! That shot of Dick's face before he gave up was pretty incredible. Zack had a big advantage for that game.

Oh Lord! The Donatos won. *sigh* And what's this? Dick knows his Big Brother history? That's interesting.

I was SO dying to spill it last night!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Do you realize the self-control that took? hehe (for ME, not Dick hehe)

Yes, it was totally cool (Dick looking at Danielle with those sensitive eyes) and then Zach says with pride how he "broke" Dick. I'm pretty sure Dick "broke" himself, with a little help from Big Brother, because he is so freaking cool that his skinny ass was going to stand there for as long as possible, regardless of the pain. Yah, Zach had a HUGE advantage, and he was STILL hurting, which is why he gave Dick the respect.
He totally loves Dick. Did you see at the end where they did the "goodbye" videos? Dick was rough as usual, but threw in a "you did good" or something along those lines (like I'm proud of you, man) and Zach didn't even consider that it could be fake to get a vote, he just ate it up and felt loved.
It WAS sincere though, but oh my goodness, I am wishing America would vote for Dick to win it. I just want him to win the big money so he can GIVE some to Danielle. You know he will, he will do anything for her. But just to let him have it TO GIVE. That would be SO cool.

I was also dying to tell you to watch Dick's face whenever Danielle says some stupid, hurtful, thing to him. She will make some comment like at the end when she said, "HOW did you MISS THAT QUESTIION ABOUT JEN!?" and she is mostly kidding and it is innocent, but the look of crushing pain that crosses his face and the struggle he goes through to not lash out at her is just beyond words. She does it ALL THE TIME. Always complaining and saying things that make him feel like she thinks he is a failure, and he just keeps hugging her and killing himself to make her happy. Then he randomly kicks trash cans and punches cardboard displays hehehe.
I love Dick, I seriously do, I am his friend for life. I am so glad those two won. Thanks to America (that's me, even though I never voted, hehe *pats self on back*) For once reality t.v. did a beautiful thing.

I think that Dick was genuine in his goodbye speech to Zach. I thought it was pleasant.

Danielle first giving Dick the guilt trip while competing in HoH didn't set well with me. I think she was trying to be supportive, but to me it sounded like it went too far at times. I was thankful that she eventually changed her tone. Her "I love you" also seemed a bit much. Maybe it's the drama queen within her or something.

That bit about him missing the Jen question was too much for me as well. He wasn't there when her and Jen talked. How would he know? You're right about her doing it all the time as well.

Beautiful? Oh no.

LOL LOL

I am so totally on your page about the guilt trip and the I love you. It did not seem sincere, but more like a selfish motive thing. But like you said, it might just be how she expresses herself. She certainly feels differently about Dick now in a positive way. I think her pride makes her try to make less of it because she realizes she is on t.v. and is afraid she looks so stupid for hating him so much before and then just loving daddy up during this "crisis" time. She knows she loves him though. She just feels compelled to conceal her emotions.

AND SHE ENCOURAGES HIM!!!! hehe Did you see when she turned to him and told him to start tearing Zach up? Then she started grinning ear to ear and shaking with laughter when he thought for about two beats and then began the psychological onslaught. It was wickedly disturbing.

Well, I can't forget Sunday, even though it is "already over". I just have to see the reactions to Eric's America's Player thing. And I hope Dick wins. In my little fantasy world they will all decide that Dick really did play them and as Zach continuously repeats, although they might not have agreed with, supported, or liked his tactics... THEY DID WORK. hehe

We shall see!

Too bad we aren't on the same time!
