I'm trying to watch it, but I started late, and I'm not catching everything. My friend who got me hooked on the show instructed me to watch Memphis if he survived.

Is there anything out there astrologically yet? Is Libra a Libra? Was April born in April? Is Big Brother paying attention to us stargazers?

Oh, apparently there is info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Big_Brother_10_HouseGuests_(U.S.)#Angie

April Dowling - born March 24, 1978 - Aries
Robert "Memphis" Garrett - born December 6, 1982 - Sagittarius
Bryan Ollie - born October 22, 1980 - Libra
Michelle Costa - born December 29, 1979 - Capricorn (didn't expect that)
Jerry MacDonald - born March 13, 1933 - Pisces
Libra Thompson - born August 6, 1976 - Leo
Lorenza "Renny" Martyn - born July 29, 1954 - Leo
Dan Gheesling - born September 1, 1983 - Virgo
Keesha Smith - born August 1, 1978 - Leo (my mom's birthday)

There were only two players on the Cancer/Capricorn axis at the start of the game. The Cancer's already gone. Can the Capricorn really meld this very masculine house to her will?

Three Leos?! Good for drama, I guess. Had to get the Taurus Jessie out.

Aries and Libra in an opposite sign showmance. Were trining Jessie and Michelle also a couple?

Keesha sounds like Evil Dick's daughter in the way she talks.

Oh, thank goodness for you, AG! Oooooh, I love knowing their signs. What excellent and interesting observations. I kept thinking Keesha reminded me of someone!!!!!! I couldn't get it. All those fire signs. I wondered why I didn't like April right away... my opposite sex opposite sign. I didn't like Libra either but it was mostly how those two acted with each other. My impression of Ollie is very interesting to me now that I know he is a Libra. I kept thinking, sheesh, this dude is such a go along and a push over. hehe Ouch.
Well, I see why I like Dan now. I always like the way Male Virgos think. My 8th house and Mercury...
Jerry is just WEIRD. It is so strange that he is a Pisces.
Interesting to know that Jessie is a Taurus.

Well, I think they showed a lot of his sensitivity tonight. Crying at the dinner table, talking about how lonely he is... and then the Judas comment.

It is interesting that he's got Dan pegged as America's Player.

It IS interesting! But I can't see how someone perceptive enough to get that would then honestly see him as a "Judas" since he knows "we" as America decide what he does. And what kind of dummy would then say outloud basically that he wants "America" OUT!? What can he be thinking?! If I even remotely thought someone was America's player I would be devising a scheme to let them know "I know" and let "America" know that I am on THEIR side! He is just going to get himself voted out by saying out-loud to America that he wants Dan gone. I just don't get his reasoning. I guess the emotion out-weighs the logic.
Silly Colonel. It's not War... it's Society. Subtle difference.

So does Dan actually get to vote his own way as America's Player this time? I was a little perplexed by that.

Also, tonight was the live eviction as it is every Thursday. Do you guys watch the show later in the evening or something, or is it live for the East Coast and taped for us on the West Coast?... and it must be live for just that one bit, because they censored out a cuss word at the end of the show when they were on their jungle swings.

I'm not a big fan of April, but her twin is hot.

Hey Hey, I totally forgot I basically "ignored" your post. I was bummed when I read it, did one of those "I'll get back to it when I feel in a posting mood" things I often do, and then got it in my head that I had posted last and you must not have been in the mood to watch and/or discuss. I actually had things to say to you but figured I wouldn't bother you. I could barely contain my urge to come gloat that I picked Dan from the beginning but I was thinking you weren't watching it anymore this season! Silly air sign. I never even checked the thread.
BUT, today I was thinking about what excellent taste I have in people while I was reading the thread on intellect, and I was reading about Virgo, got to thinking about my Virgo male comment and wondered if I even said something to indicate Dan as my favorite on the thread initially. So, I had to check, and hey hey, "Dan the man" lol

So, sorry I was so RUDE, and I would assume you just know what an air head I can be, but you never wrote again so I may have ticked you off... like I do to all of my super Earth sign friends though I rarely even notice until they drop a clod of earth on my head at some point. But you have that Gem AC so hopefully you forgot all about too... but if not, this should be sufficient grovelling, yes? And a little shameless flattery on how I picked you as a quality person from the very beginning... right?

I wasn't too concerned that you never answered. It was a little weird, though.

You did call it (for Dan). That's twice in a row that you've called it. He did seem to play the best game. I didn't get to see every episode, but I caught enough I'd say. Unusual season. In a way, it seemed like Dan was the only real player in the house. Everyone else was just along for the ride. Jerry was sooooo gullible. He'd just fall for anything.

Did you notice on that second to last show all the Leo ladies were all sitting next to one another?

I just went back and read your post. I'd completely bypassed the groveling on my first read (a little Sagittarian selective reading). Yeah, you don't need to grovel with me. Not that I mind it, but Earth signs blow people off all the time as well (even their Earth sign friends), so it would be hypocritical to expect something. Yes, picking me as a quality person is a good thing...probably your inner Capricorn talking.

Hi!

I would watch Survivor except that some other program always comes along, and snatches my attention, so I end up leaving Survivor for some competing show.

Hi AG Well, you have cable I think, from the other shows you mention, so I can see how that would be a problem for ya. My choices are limited in the television programming department but Survivor is just my kind of show and I knew I would love it from the beginning and I still love it today.

Ohhhh that reminds me hehehe So, I was thinking the other day about Lukas Rossi from Rock Star INXS/Supernova show and remembered that I had chosen Lukas for that show and also chose J.D. and Marty for the other show from the beginning... though I think you chose J.D. as the best and I thought Marty was best and JD second.
So, I am clearly the talent scout of the century imho. hehe lol at the "h" there in that acronym.

Hi!

I think it's regular tv that draws me away actually. I have a 5th house moon, so maybe it's difficult for me to give up NBC's comedy night or something. I have such a short memory for insignificant decisions. I just know that there have been seasons of Survivor that I've started watching only to stop somewhere along the line. It could have to do with what time it's on, too (like if it's on at 9:00, and I'd have to change the channel, I might forget if there's something decent on the channel I'm on).

It's too bad you don't have cable, though. I love all or at least most of BRAVO's reality shows.

In the INXS Rockstar, I liked the blond guy, who I believe is the Marty you're talking about. J.D. is the guy who won the INXS one, right? I never liked him. Too aggressive for my tastes. He was a decent vocal match for Hutchence.

Congrats on calling so many. Nothing comes to mind when I query myself on whether I've called any. There's clearly no accounting for taste.

"insignificant decisions"
"There's clearly no accounting for taste."

!$!$!%% #%$$!!!!!!!!!

The only show other than Survivor that I am watching right now is Fringe... well and House and the occasional "The Big Bang". I like that show. I also love "The Office" but it is on during Survivor. fiddlestix. And running the VCR is just too much trouble. lol Now I have this stupid digital thing to figure out. I asked a male friend to come over and do it for me after I took a peek at the directions. I was GOING to do it myself... but sheesh, talk about a good two hours of my life I would never get back for something that will take him 10 minutes at tops.

I think last season of Dancing With The Stars was a pretty easy call, so I may have called that one. That's another show like Survivor, though. I'd watch it if it didn't compete with stuff I also like. I found myself watching the Dancing With The Stars results show last night (once again because I didn't think to change the channel) when suddenly I remembered the new show The Mentalist was on. I changed it.

I was just going to send an acknowledgatory smile. Yeah, I think I made up that word. But, then I did a double take. What on earth is on Monday on NBC? I wouldn't even watch tv on Monday but if I'm dead tired and want mind numbing amusement I watch... oh yeah, I watch NBC. Did I think you said CBS? OK, these acronyms no longer have any meaning to me. I am so tired. :P Ok, NBC is Survivor channel, then, right? That means that you also watch that one show I like... *tune plays in my head* "orbiting..." uh... BIG BANG THEORY! Ok, yo have to like that otherwise you are talking about the OTHER channel and then I have no idea what you are watching.
So, how did your Capricorn self follow the above madness then?

Shutting up now.
YAY! I get to use this emoticon!

At the moment these shows are suspended, though, so I've been watching The Bachelor.

I watched The Bachelor once this season. Or watched it half way while doing dishes and cleaning. I like the romantic vibe and psychology of the situation. It's on Monday huh... I like to watch that one show, I said up there... um the planets one, comedy... anyway, I think there is something I can't stand for the last half hour, "Chuck in real life" or something, so I must have switched to The Bachelor.
BUT, the real question...
are you watching Idol???????

and I've been wondering why they keep shortening the audition stage when I enjoy it so much... it's because of people like YOU, AG.

I like to get to know them. I also have to get to know the players for a sport if I'm going to watch any games. If there's no psychological and social dynamic to observe, I'm not interested.

Wonder when Big Brother will come back on... probably not until summer.
Ok, after auditions then!
